In book ten of the Steel MC Montana Charter: Thanks to video chats, Rebecca ‘Doc’ Olson has been helping the Steels process their traumas and heal. When death threats are more than a bluster from an angry patient, it is Rebecca’s time to seek out the care and protection of the Steels.
Over six years ago, Wendell ‘Chief’ Washington got pulled off active duty only to be devastated with news that cut him to the core, scarring him with a loss he believed he’d never recover from. Retiring from the Navy has him returning to a world with no anchor and just in time to attend the wedding of a dear friend in Turnabout Creek. What he didn’t expect to find was a woman who awoke the man inside him that died years ago.
Each of them running…Him from his past and her, from an eminent threat.
As each day passes, Doc is unpacking her life while danger circles around her. If it weren’t for the nights spent with Chief, she would be consumed and lost in despair. While Chief is teetering between a life renewed and losing it all if he fails again, to protect the woman who restarted his heart.

Doc, Steel MC Montana book 10 by Michel and Wren I was given this book from Booksprout to leave an honest review. This series is an auto buy for me. I may have gotten an ARC but I had my preorder already ready for release day. If you are a fan of alpha men that melt for their women, this is a series for you! But stay away from my man Baldy! Got it!!! Good. Ok now let’s talk about this book. I really didn’t know these characters as they were both side characters. Doc has been around the MC fringes for a few book as she helps the Steels and their women with mental health. Chief, however, is essentially a new character. When we learn he knows Annie…I was like “Who is Annie???? Oh crap!! Its CREAM!!!” Yeah, I don’t know the real names but road names anymore!! LOL Ok so Doc is old buddies with Red. They were like besties in medical school with huge amounts of resect for the other in their fields. Red is who got Doc to help his MC with mental health needs. When Doc is being stalked by an unknown killer, she runs to the MC for a wedding of one of her patients. Chief …I kinda don’t want to ruin who he is because the story of how he knows Annie was pretty sweet. But let’s just say he and Annie go WAY back. He comes to see his friend get married to some young punk plus meet her little man, Liam. Annie and Chief catching up was hard at times given the history but also pretty special as he is embraced by Bounty. Chief and Doc run into each other at the Roadside but don’t really get to talk until they are both at Maggie’s for breakfast the following morning. The attraction on both sides is spectacular. Chief is dealing with his past and Doc is worried about even having a future. Chief deals with his past and once he realized Doc is someone he won’t let go of. Doc’s stalker soon comes around putting Red and the guys on high alert. Doc is so scared of losing Chief she is the one who pretty much claims him and names him. (We all know once you been claimed you are no longer on the market. LOL ) But I really enjoyed seeing Red a little more one on one. We see him a lot in the books as he is the president but seeing him with Harlow…melts my heart. Also seeing him with his friend to talk medical things over with since he can’t lean on my baby daddy, Baldy, for that was pretty good to see. Learning more and more about him made my heart happy. I absolutely LOVED this book and meeting some new prospects. I also love what we learn about a few of the couples. This family is growing more and more.
I received a copy of this book from Booksprout to leave an honest review. I love this series and these guys are tough but so loving and protective when it comes to their ol’ ladies and family. I will always “one click” this series, TBH even though I received an ARC I also preordered it and I will purchase the audio when it comes out. I was not sure about this one before jumping into it only because I didn’t know the main characters very well. They are not as prominent in the other books but side characters that are known by main characters. Michel and Wrin did not disappoint this was just as good as the other books. Doc has been best friends with Red for a long time and has been helping most of the Ol’ Ladies over video chat. Doc is receiving death threats and need to get away while they figure out who it is. So she decides that it is time she pays the residents of Turnabout Creek she has been treating a visit. While visiting she runs into another visitor, one she names Chief. Wendell Washington has been in the Navy for 20 years and is retiring. After loosing his wife and son years ago he doesn’t quite know where he is going to put down roots. He never had to think of this before because he has always been on a ship with others giving orders. He makes the decision to go to his friend Annie’s wedding in Turnabout Creek. He is still haunted by the loss of his wife and son and has to work through a lot of issues while here. Chief has PTSD when it comes to dealing with the loss of his wife and son but Doc is able to help him with this. Chief and Doc have amazing chemistry from the start but can Chief overcome the thought of being able to protect Doc unlike he was able to with his family. I thought their banter and jabs regarding the others choice of military branch they served in was great. I enjoyed seeing Chief open up and learn to trust the Steels. I enjoyed seeing all the Steel men and their Ol’ Ladies. I love when the men jump in and protect whoever needs protecting and will deal with anyone who stands in their way of doing this. This one had my emotions breaks my heart when emergency’s come up and no matter what Red and his team does, they cannot change the outcome but they do deal with the reason why the emergency came up. I just want to say I loved seeing Hack in this one, I love him so much. We did get to see all the Steels and their family and it was nice to see them all again. I also liked that we learned a little more about Red. It is always a good day when I get to read about the Steels and their families. Now I have to wait for this one to come out in audio so I can listen to all over again.
Doc: Book 10 of the Steel MC Montana Charter has an awesomely romantic, quite steamy, intensely dramatic, suspenseful, and action-packed MC storyline. We know the characters from the previous ten books and read them all so that you have the backstory for all of the characters. What's wild is that Doc (aka Rebecca) and Chief (aka Wendell) were not official members of the MC when they connected. Doc was like family to Red (aka Josh), and Chief had been married to Cream's (aka Annie) twin sister Vanessa. Vanessa and their son Liam were murdered years before this story took place. Chief and Doc are family to the MC and quite trusted as Doc was the therapist for many of the MC Ol'Ladies and some of the MC members. When Doc's life is in danger, Chief and the MC pull out all the stops to protect her. Doc is another page-turner in this MC series. I can hardly wait for the next book!

This is the tenth book in this series and is Rebecca / Doc and Wendell / Chief’s story. Rebecca is best friends with Red, and she has been helping the old’ ladies of the Steel MC via video links to deal with their traumas and healing. When Doc becomes the target of an angry patient, she has no option by to approach the Steel’s for protection. Wendell is haunted by his past, and after being in the Navy for 20-years he is retired, but does not know where to set down his roots after the loss of his wife and son, and he is in town for a wedding, where he meets Doc. This is a well written story which is intriguing, and thrilling, and filled with undeniable chemistry, danger, suspense, witty banter, humor, emotions, loss, healing, and love, which leads to an entertaining addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Rebecca “Doc” Olson has been helping the Steel MC members process and deal with their issues. She has become like a part of their family. When Doc starts to receive death threats -its time for the MC to start helping Doc.
Wendell “Chief” Washington has just retired from the Navy and is currently trying to find a “home”. With the invitation to attend Cream and Bounty’s wedding, he decided to head to Turnabout Creek.
Little did they both know that - Turnabout Creek would save them both.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Doc/Beccs/Rebecca, has been threatened. She makes her way to stay with her best friends in the Steel MC for safety. Chief/Wendell is now a retired Navel Officer. His SIL is getting married and belongs to the Steel MC. Love the humor. This book made me cry. I couldn't put it down! From a True Fan... Pam James.
A stalker with one purpose in mind, a Brotherhood of bikers willing to go to any lengths to protect those they consider family, a doctor on the run and hiding, a retired seaman trying to come to grips with what he lost so long ago, all these and more at the wedding of the year. Come along meet the family and enjoy this rowdy bunch of bikers.
This was a great book. Doc is a fun character and had me laughing many times! This series has never let me down. So settle in with Doc and Wendell's story, you won't regret it!
