Excellent writing! I was aware of this problem in today's society, didn't realize it could be right in our own neighborhoods like this. Opened my eyes on how close it could be.

Only pick this up if you’re ready to cry your way through most of the book—because that’s exactly what happened to me. I’ve read plenty of books like this and was especially excited to dive into one that focuses on a mother being trafficked, instead of a younger person. From the heart-wrenching sadness to the moments of unexpected sweetness, I found myself tearing up constantly. The story is tough, but incredibly moving. If you’re into emotional, impactful stories like this, definitely give it a read—but don’t forget the tissues.
