All ice dragon alpha Marin needs is an omega. Cut off from the inheritance that funds his group of dragon firefighters, he must fool his family into believing he’ll produce an heir—and a contract marriage is his master plan to set things right. But when his search for a fake mate results in an unexpected family reunion, Marin finds himself tangled up with his estranged brother’s protective best friend, the deliciously adorable thunder dragon omega Shen.
Shen has always wished for a way he could help his friend heal from his traumatic upbringing, but this was not what he expected. In order to give Marin the time he needs to repair things with his younger brother, Shen agrees to pretend to be the alpha’s mate. A fake relationship is going to be his very first, but no problem—it’s all on paper, after all. But Shen is about to learn that when it comes to roguish ice dragons, nothing is ever so simple.
Wed in Thunder is the fourth book in the Dragon Firefighters mpreg series. It expands on characters and the story introduced in the previous books, and while it can be enjoyed as a standalone it’s highly recommended you read the others first. This book features thunder, ice and fire dragons, a best friend's brother, enemies-to-lovers, an industrial fantasy setting, dragon eggs, toddlers and brand new dragon hatchlings, new dads, family moments, lots of funny banter, friendship and loyalty, zapped nipples, a meddling aunt, light drama, and, as always, a happily ever after.
Fun characters, page turning action, unique settings and of course, steamy, heart-pounding gay romance are all staples in an Ashe Moon Mpreg novel. All of Ashe's books are standalone but take place within shared universes (Shifter and Non-Shifter respectively), building upon each other to create an exciting journey for you!
All books contain lots of heat! Mature readers only!

I've read the first three books of this series and still couldn't keep all the secondary characters straight. I think that's because the character development is nonexistent and the characters, interchangeable.
You know what else was nonexistent?
Relationship development (the MCs are truly together for exactly one chapter).
I want my very own dragon firefighter. Baring that I will read and enjoy this fun series. I love the characters in this series but it’s the world building that is the definite star of this series. People and places are described so well that I have pictures of them in my head. Can’t wait to read the next book.
I think Shen and Marin might be my favorite dragon couple from the series so far. They are just so dysfunctional and quirky together and I loved every minute of their interactions. The author also amped up the story writing because it is significantly different from the first three books, especially the steamy scenes. I also have to give the author credit for how well this series is connected. From the first book till now nothing feels disconnected and everything is so well placed that the lead up to the next book just falls perfectly in tandem with the previous book. Great job; I most certainly approve!
This fantastic MM Mpreg dragon shifter romance definitely caught my attention within the first few pages & I absolutely enjoyed reading it. The storyline was really captivating with a well-written interesting plot that has some very humorous situations & best of all - it can easily stand on its own, while being part of the “Dragon Firefighters” series. The characters are well-developed unique individuals with opposing personalities but they continue to develop & ultimately complement each other very well. The secondary characters play good supporting roles throughout the storyline. It is about: an alpha male ice dragon (Martin) comes up with a unique plan to claim his inheritance and somehow manages to find himself involved with his estranged younger brother’s (Raka) very protective best friend who happens to be a male omega thunder dragon (Shen) naturally these two dragons soon discover that preconceived ideas & life don’t go according to plans. There is: various kinds of dragons, alphas, omegas, an interfering aunt (Piroka), friendship, family issues, fated mates, humour, mild drama, intrigue, some twists, manipulations, temptation, attractions, protectiveness, unexpected surprises, disagreements, resentment, determination, compromises, contentment, love, steamy scenes & a satisfying happy conclusion. I look forward to future books from this author with great anticipation & would recommend this book (& the series) to people who enjoy reading this genre.
This is Shen and Marin's story. Marin is Raka's older brother, the middle brother. If you remember Raka was hiding from his family because they were trying to kill him. In fact it was Kern, the eldest brother who was murderous, and Marin wanting to follow in Kern's footsteps went along. Once Raka went missing Marin had a change of heart and left the family and became part of another Fireflight of dragons in Brandy Oak, a town not so far away from Old Port Shore. Kern is now deceased and the family is demanding that Marin find a mate and commit to growing the family line or he will be cut off financially. Marin has been using his family money to support his fireflight in Brandy Oak. So Marin and his best friend, Haru, make a trek to Stonevale to convince an unsuspecting Omega to pretend to be Marin's mate. Along the way the make a stop for Seafood dinner in Old Port Shore, and Marin runs in Raka and Shen. Shen knowing Raka's past with his brothers introduces himself to Marin by punching him in the face. Way to start a relationship. More family fun ensue. Thomas' and Grayson's eggs are about to hatch. Marin and Raka's great aunt Piroka stops by to make sure Marin is serious about finding a mate. Untilmately a story about family, friendships, redemption, and responsibility. These are more than just sweet romances. I'm enjoying the entire series.
Explosive opening! Shen, is being his supportive self and questioning how a dragon/human egg will hatch. He doesn't dwell much, on the fact that he is the only one unmated in the group. Marin, has a not plan to find an omega to fake mate, so his family will release funding so he can continue to support Brandy Oak, where he makes his home. He is stopping in town, on his way to Stonevale. He catches sight of a man who resembles his brother. When he realizes it's his brother, he gives chase. Raka, recently got work his oldest brother was dead. He was struggling how he felt about the death, the life he ran away from and how his older brother, Marin used to be his protector then became his tormenter. Seeing, Marin activates his flight response. Shen's fight response is activated. Good story. Both brothers are surprised to see each other. Will they talk? Will they exchange explanations? Will there be forgiveness and acceptance. Marin is a hoot. We get to know Shen a lot better. Nice story. I would have liked it to be longer and explained what happens, afterwards. I felt the ending was a bit abrupt and left hanging a bit. Maybe there will be another series about Brandy Oak. Nicely done. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Marin needs a mate to get access to his family money but he only wants a fake mate. First Ice Dragon Marin hears that his older brother has died then he is told that his access to family money is blocked until he proves he has mated. He leaves Brandy Oak where he is part of the fire flight with friend and fellow firefighter Haru thinking to go to the large city of Stonvale to find someone willing to be his fake mate. On the way through to they stop at Old Shore Port where they have heard great things of the fish dishes there. Marin only other knowledge of town is that it is where his younger brother Raka went down on a ship. As he and haru are walking through the market when he sees a familiar figure his brother Raka. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Ashe Moon mentioned that Dragon Firefighters revitalized their excitement for the genre and— “it’s become the most popular series I’ve written in the five years I’ve been publishing. With every new entry I still question whether or not anyone will continue to care to read them…”
Truthfully, the series so far has been the low angst, sweetheart reads I never knew I needed. As always, I’m a little apprehensive about moving on. I get a little attached to certain characters and could honestly read about my favorite characters doing the most mundane things. To walk away from our Old Shore Port crew is a bit of a challenge, but it’s not ‘goodbye’. It’s a ‘see you later’.
And just like I have with Rubyverse, I’ll be reading every. single. one. Later losers. I’m going to Brandy Oak to check on Haru.😉
Marin is Raka’s brother and stumbles across him while in town to have seafood. The family thought Raka died in a boat fire, so Marin was shocked to see him at the market. Shen was with Marin and punched him when he tried to reach Raka. Marin and Raka just found out their brother Kern had died. Kern was horrible to Raka and Marin would do as Kern said. Since Kern is no longer the head of the family, Marin is next in line but he needs a mate to get the title and money. This book had me laughing at the different situations and circumstances that occur.
I still like the series, although it's getting a bit big with a lot of characters. This may be why I feel like I learned less about the main couple and their love story. It didn't draw me in emotionally to those, which means it was hard to understand why they were in love. I looked at the brief description of the next book, and it says they expand on the previous characters too. I am going to stop here because it's too much. This is why I love a trilogy the best because trying to do everyone justice means the main characters lose the spotlight.
Still love this series as a whole, but this wasn't the right couple for me. YES to Shen as a tough omega--tougher than most Alphas can handle. And theoretical YES to Marin, a reformed bully from an evil rich family, using his money for good, making amends to Raka, and winning over the reluctant Shen. Should have been a home run. But Marin is basically a big dumb fluffball when I was hoping for refined and mature and angst-y. The character just didn't match my hopes/expectations from the blurb....
The strong and independent omega finds his match in the most unlikely person. Shen and Marin are the most unlikely couple - Shen is levelheaded and responsible and Marin is happy to leave his fate to chance, never overthinking or planning things. The Alpha needs a keeper and Shen is just the omega for the task. Their romance is a force of nature just like their elements, and when the two mix together the outcome is explosive!

This series is still lots of fun. I love watching all the characters have roles in each book. It’s been a good journey so far. I was a little confused with how much of chance they were willing to give a brother that Raka literally hid from for years but I guess that’s the point of a minimal drama, quick type romance so it didn’t ruin the book. And it is a quick—minimal drama read for anyone wanting a fluffy romance.
Book four of the Dragon fighters series and Ashe Moon continues to capture me hook line and sinker. in this book its Shen and Marin turn to fight the attraction and come together as mates. as with the other books filled with humor, passion and tenderness.
The book also builds on the other characters featured in other books the other dragons and their mates without taking away form Shen and Marin time.
Such a great series of books. A must read for anyone
When Marin passed through Old Shore Port, he never expected to find his brother, Raka, and meet his mate. Because of the issues between Raka and Marin, Shen was angry at Marin at first. But as enemies turned into friends and then into more, their journey hit some rocky times, as they slowly realized how they felt. Engrossing story, though a little predictable. Still worth it.
DRAGON FIREFIGHTERS Book #4 This is WONDERFUL!! Marin is a Brother that finds his family on a lark. Shen is satisfied with his status and is happy helping. When life takes an unexpected turn these two hatch a plan. I Loved how this plan came together. ASHE MOON has created such a unbelievable world that I can't get enough of. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS INCREDIBLE DRAGON FIREFIGHTERS SERIES!!!!!!!
4.5 stars ahhhh it's so nice to return to this series. it's like coming home. I knew all characters and it had such homey feeling, with all families living together and dragony baby shenanigans. I loved that every dragon type has his own strengths and weaknesses. in other books with dragons it's usually "I can shift in big lizard and I hoard gold" and that's it. But here I feel the thoughts and care that went into building this world <3 love it
I know this is probably the last in the series but it is ending on a high note! The way Marin and Shen meet is explosive! Raka only remembers negative things about Marin and this is all Shen needs to know before coming to his best friend's defense. The two men end up falling in love despite the conflict! Great book, you should pick up a copy!
Shen agrees to pretend to be Marin’s mate in order for Marin to get access to his family funds.
My least favourite so far, it felt too unfinished for me, more than the others, and the characters felt a bit too bland. But it was short and enjoyable still!
The 4th book in the ‘Dragon Firefighters’ series was excellent! Marin & Shen have a crazy dynamic that’s both funny & romantic. I loved the unexpected visit of the matriarch. I loved Aunt Piroka! She needs to leave the south more often. She’s not so bad when she’s thawed out a little. I want to know more about Kire & Tomm, too. Such great characters!
I voluntarily read an ARC for this book and thoroughly enjoyed it, I had been waiting for Shen's story since he was first introduced. I love how good he and Marin are together and how good they are as separate characters, Shen standing up for Raka was awesome! Now hanging out for the next one.
This is another amazing addition to this series! I absolutely love Shen and Marin. They definitely start off a little rough but they are meant to be together. The chemistry between these two is fire. I couldn't stop reading once I started. I just love this story so much!
An interesting storyline which carries the reader from sibling conflict to blended family. New characters provide the direction for this book, supported by the continued presence of characters from earlier in the series.
It's really interesting to watch Marin try to get his relationship back with Raka. I think it will be good for both of them. He is a tiny bit annoying at times, since he really doesn't take anything seriously.
This was a nice dragon shifter world. Kinda wish we would have gotten more at the end. Not insta but insta love. I did like story. Writing was ok, smexy was good some characters I liked more than others
I loved this latest addition except for the ending but I'm still hopeful there might be some resolution in the next book. Apart from not getting the ending I wanted I really enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down .
Another great dragon book. Full of heart and light and love. I’m so in love with these fire fighting dragons and their mates!! Another beautiful story with an even more beautiful HEA
