As Magnus has said, "Ormr is after the crown, I need to get there first," but who is twisting time and causing the mess?
Kaitlyn and Magnus and their family are in 13th century Scotland, they're trying to stick together, attempting to keep their memories intact while their timeline crumbles around them.
With new time travel twists and turns, the next book in Mr and Mrs Campbell's history promises excitement and more more more adventure, with contemporary scenes and historical flourishes, coming in Spring 2022— book 16, Only a Breath Away.
I have loved this series from the very beginning. I longed for each and every book that came out as the characters all captivated my heart! Though Kaitlyn and Magnas are our heroes his mother truly steals the show with her schemes and plots. Better than Game of Thrones! Oh I love all the brothers bonding and the true meaning of friendship. Don't pass this series by.
Oh how I love this entire series. I don't ever want it to end. The first book I didn't care for the main character though I found her very funny. But she grows a lot during each book. They crack me up as I can totally see myself running around the world, jumping through time and totally messing things up with all these folks. I love when we get a new character. If you haven't read this series yet, please do. Don't give up if you aren't thrilled with book 1....though I loved it a couple people didn't. Most have though. So give it a chance. It is not at all an Outlander copy. Not even close. It's meant to be super funny. It has a huge following and Facebook and we have a blast discussing books. If you like time travel and love when characters are a mess and keep messing things up and having to fix them and you love books with all emotions, especially comedy, then give this a try. Start at book one and read them in order they were written. Yes, one is a prequel, but read it where it should be...not first.
You out did yourself on this one Diana Knightley. It was an epic story of mystery, love and family, jumping from one century to another trying desperately to find your love and only feeling them there. Page after page was so fantastic . I could not put it down, now finding two new brothers makes the series more interesting. I think Lochinvar is crazy and funny but he may cause some serious problems for the family. This was a beautiful tribute to Magnus and Kaitlyn , can't wait for the next book. Again thank you for this series. Recommend with a 5 Stars review
I loved it. Though one of may thrilling additions to the world of Kaitlyn and the Highlander, this one induced the most anxiety due to the style of writing making them so real to me. I had to frequently stop, put it down and walk away because my care and worry for the characters. It did indeed level off with silliness and children's laughter. The goofiness of Lochinvar giggling was vivid enough to hear and see. All in all a much loved thrilling chapter in Kaitlyn and Magnus' world. Thank you again for sharing it with us. Thank goodness for Haggis and the rescue.
I didn't understand what this book might be about when I saw the cover but as soon as I started reading it everything became clear. There is a problem with the time stream and everything is slipping. This book brought me to tears quite a few times and I was worried when it seems like there was a happy ending only 2/3 of the way through the book. But all's well that end's well and this book only ends to continue the story. It was an amazing read.
Loved it! There was so much going on in different places. I like that everyone had an active part in this book, all working together to set the timeline right. It was also nice to have additional character chapters so we knew what was going on with them when they were away from Magnus or Kaitlyn. Can't wait for the next part of the saga!
To say I was afraid this would be the last book of Magnus and Kaitlyn and all the wonderful characters with them would be too tame ! But ,no .I was overjoyed to find there will be more . And there will be offshoots into a new series . Thank you Diana Knightley for sharing your wonderful stories and imagination with us lowly humans .
Look this is the 16th book in this series and I’m running out of the energy to talk about this as my guilty pleasure series but here we are. I am mystified that the author keeps finding new danger for the crew to encounter but the series goes on and I think the author does it well. I enjoy this series.
I started with the audiobooks, was all and good til were no more on Audible, I had to sit still with a tortuous sling, after having a replacement put in. Not easy to hold my Kindle to read or post this review of Ms. Knightleys accomplishments
I’ve read all 16 books in a row which is an amazing treat and testament to Diana Knightly’s outstanding writing. Every single book is as good as the one before, this kind of consistency is very rare. The characters don’t waver and the plots are captivating. I am such a picky reader and I love this series.
Once again Diana has put together a thrilling adventure that keeps me on the edge of my seat. I absolutely love these characters and look forward to their next adventures.
I completely enjoyed the first books and well, each of them but I think this is my favorite. I enjoyed the vacation as much as they did. A time to get to know them all again
Poor Magnus and Kaitlyn can’t seem to find each other. They feel each other but can’t find each other. Memories seem to be lost on some things for all the family. All turns good when they find the bridge.
A great read and the whole series is exceptional! Can't help but to read and read again. Kaitlyn, Magnus, and the gang will never be far from your mind and you'll be wondering what adventure is next.
Diana is so good at keeping the story moving forward and giving the characters new things to do, even after 16 books! I’m absolutely obsessed with this series and can’t wait for the next book!
