Colleen’s troubles started 48 hours ago, when a tall, hot billionaire accidentally got her fired. But Tristan “Twist” King felt bad about it, so he hired her to fly all over the States with him as a “consultant.”
Since then, she’s been shot at, threatened, and sort of-inducted into the Russian mafia against her will.
Which was all worth it after she sneaked into Tristan’s hotel room one night with the keycard he gave her. One glorious, spicy night where he did things she’d never dreamed of before.
And then the next afternoon, too.
But she messed everything up by helping one of the bad guys’ teenaged victims escape.
Now the Russians are hunting her.
And the only way to keep ahead of the bratva is to keep travelling with Tristan on his private jet to the most glamorous places in the world,
And looking over her shoulder the whole time.
A person can’t live like that, but their days are glamorous and exciting and their nights are amazing.
Something has to break.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tristan King has something the Russian organized crime lords are after, and they’ll stop at nothing to get it. The reason he’s so wealthy is that he’s a computer genius, and he’s created some programs that would be devastating in the wrong hands.
The Russian mafia is very definitely the wrong hands.
But now his life is tangled up with Colleen Frost’s. She sweet, and funny, and smart as a whip.
And she’s just as into those as Tristan is, too.
Tristan King has found his soulmate, but both their lives are in danger. The only way to stay ahead of the Russian mob is to keep moving. They jet around the world, exploring a different city every day and exploring each other every night in a different bed.
He could go on like this forever.
But the Russian mafia is catching up with them.
It has to end. Tristan has to save her.
Behind every great fortune lies a great crime, and Tristan "Twist" King has to commit his to save both himself and Colleen.
Blair Babylon is the nom de plume of an award-winning, USA Today-bestselling author who used to publish literary fiction. Because professional reviews of her other fiction usually included the caveat that there was too much deviant sex and too much interesting plot, she decided to abandon all literary pretensions, let her freak flag fly, and write hot, sexy, erotic romance.
In this second installment we pick up where the story ended in book 1. Tristan and Colleen are on the run in the continuation of this action packed read.
Tristan is continuing to work toward finding a solution to pay the proverbial piper all while keeping Colleen safe from the Russian mafia. He has learned that she is Queen Mod from the Sherwood Forest forum and that their attraction is off the charts.
Colleen is still trying to get answers from Tristan about what is going on while still dodging bullets. She too has figured out his identity as well as their attraction but needs to work through her issues from her past - namely her family issues as well as her past.
This was an action packed read that had me hooked from where the story picked back up. I enjoyed the return of characters from previous series as well as meeting new ones as I look forward to seeing where this series will go next. There is so much I can say but why ruin the story for others but I will say that I recommend this book and series to others.
The story picks up where Twisted left off, and we find Tristan frantic for a way out of the predicament that’s threatening his livelihood and all he holds dear, while also scrambling to keep Colleen safe from…
I really enjoyed this story, but found the stock market/trading aspect a bit boggling at times, as I’ve little experience in that world. I loved the evolution of Tristan and Colleen’s relationship (despite several rather unusual complications) along their somewhat bumpy journey to a very sweet, yet steamy HEA.
The story is well written and told through dual POV’s. There’s some suspense, danger, intrigue and humour along with several explicit encounters featuring themes of Dominance and submission within a Big/little power dynamic. I’m looking forward to the next book in this entertaining series, “Shine”.
I received an Advance Reader Copy from the author, and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
Tantalizingly Delicious! Almost all of my toggle switches were certainly teased & maybe even tortured with this yummy treat! I don't like spoilers. But may I simply say that reading the chapter titles was like a literary banquet when you're on a strict diet. Mulling over each chapter title, before diving right in, was hmm...Titillating! Just when you're sure of what you think you're getting, there's intrigue so so divinely delicious;). Have a read, I'm sure other readers will have the same yummy response to this treat.
Tangled brings the happy ending that was lacking in Twisted, but it’s a long and tense journey to get there. And it’s not as happy as I hoped it would be, but it’s certainly realistic.
While trying to escape the Russian bratva, the Butorins, Tristan tries to fulfill his financial obligations to Mary Ververa Bell, the secretive villain of the story. Tristan received an ominous letter from her at the beginning of Twisted and in part two, he actually sees her, but that doesn’t happen until the end. Meanwhile, he and Colleen are falling hopelessly in love.
As has become more and more common with Blair Babylon, there is plenty of social commentary thrown into the story. Some people might be turned off by it, but I like the stories even better for it. Some of the observations include Colleen arguing with her father that college is important, explaining that “more women than men are enrolling in college now, so people like you are devaluing it because it’s not just for men anymore. When Colleen tells a man she has a boyfriend as a way of rejecting potential overtures from him, she’s weighed down by the “societal implications that she had to be some other man’s property for a guy not to molest her.” Later, while considering an action that’s illegal, but necessary, Colleen’s friend wryly states, “It is not unethical, like a politician getting a briefing about a coming deadly pandemic and selling all their manufacturing stocks and buying shares in healthcare companies. Or a rich guy buying a small generic pharmaceutical company and jacking up the price of insulin or EpiPens a thousand-fold so that regular people can’t afford their medications and die. Or oil companies knowing from their own research that gasoline cars and oil-based plastic are destroying the planet that we live on but paying politicians to stomp out research and innovation in electric cars and other materials. Yeah, that’s all perfectly fine, but this is illegal. Yeah. Sure.”
There are also some other fun descriptions, like when she explains that Tristan is so good at talking, he “could talk a used car salesperson into paying him to take a car off the lot.” I loved when Colleen met Maxence and his beauty is described, “...his sculpted bone structure was the natural ideal that plastic surgeons envied but could never really copy. He was a movie star and a model and a demigod, and he was somehow standing next to her.” Then he’s introduced. “The man smiled, and the heavens parted, and the angels sang.” It was so over-the-top, I had to laugh.
Tristan “Twist” King is another Le Rosey graduate and Colleen Frost is another resident of Arizona—Phoenix, to be exact. Many of the characters in Blair’s stories seem to be connected in one way or another—usually from Le Rosey or Arizona, but a surprising one is referenced in this story. Angel, the protagonist in The Angel of Death, is mentioned by Colleen as a sniper on the Phoenix hostage negotiation team that she saw on TV. Why a hostage negotiator is mentioned is not a part of this review.
Overall, the story is tense and packed with surprises. It’s thoroughly enjoyable.
WOW! Talk about twisty. There are so many twists going on, my heart and mind were on edge all the way through. Tangled is part 2 of the Twisted series where a college dropout Colleen was wanted as nothing but slave labour by her family and hacker Tristan King, abandoned by his family when he was young, find themselves working through a minefield of deception to save their lives and that of their friends. From the very first page you are thrown into the story once again and taken on one hell of a rollercoaster ride. Tristan is trying to do all he can to get out from under the grip of a Dr Mary Varvara Bell who wants his loan paid in blood, sweat and tears, while keeping his friends and the woman he is falling in love with, Colleen Frost alive. Colleen works for the company GameShack and is a moderator for a company on the Sherwood Forrest Forum. Together they must work to meet Dr Bells demands and cope with the Russian crime lords the Butorins who want Tristans facial recognition or unrecognition app in this case. This is where the fun begins……be prepared!
I must admit, all the trading talk was lost on me. I tried my best to keep up but had to take it as simply, a part of the story. I loved having some of the previous characters from the Billionaires in Disguise sphere popping up in this story and all the ‘twists’ that this story brings. It will certainly keep you up at night, not wanting to put your book down. No one knows how to twist a tale with as much depth and detail as this author can. I really liked Colleen and Tristan, although I would have loved to have read a little more of their history on the forum to help build more of a bond/friendship between them. They did not really talk to each other about what is going on. I hope Tristan opens up to Colleen in the upcoming books and is honest with her about his new role with Dr Bell. I did not think their relationship had that stronger magical connection found in other characters within the Billionaires in Disguise series. I would love to hear more of Anjali and Jian’s journey together.
Alas as all good things come to an end there are a few more surprises in store. Logan has a lot to explain. Is he a bad guy or trapped by Dr Bell also? What is in store for Micha Shine? I know for sure I can’t wait to find out!
Lots of Action, In and Out of the Bedroom!😉🔥💥 Tangled (Billionaires in Disguise)
This is part #2 in the Twisted/Tangled Duet. Tristan 'Twist' King is a hacker and coder. He was raised poor but loved his 8 younger siblings dearly. He was a gifted student that won a scholarship to the most exclusive boarding in the world. He met his three best friends there, as well Prince's, Earl's, the children of billionaires and more! Colleen Frost has worked hard to escape the life her parents wanted for her, as their skivy! She's still got some schooling to finish but helping Tristan has been eye opening, and life threatening! Her coding and financial education should help them.
The depth that this Author always achieves in her characters and storylines has always blown me away. E.L James needed to read the Lizzy books to understand the good and bad of the BDSM life style, she wouldn't have gotten 50 shades so wrong then!😉 That laser focused detail is turned towards online stock trading, as well as hacking and coding, for these books. Of course it also full of wonderful vista's, kidnappings by the Bratva, lunch with the Crown Prince and Princess of Monaco, yachts and private airplanes etc too.
I did feel like there wasn't quite the same emotional connection between the two main characters that I've come to anticipate. Their connection fell a little bit flat for me - certainly not in the bedroom though.🔥 The world building of these interconnected series is phenomenal. The pace of this book was spot on for me. I really liked the spanner that was thrown into the works by the two reveals near the end, very tricky indeed!👍 I'm looking forward to Micah Shine's book next.🌟
Blair is a master at keeping you "twisted" while you read her tales. Tangled is no exception. This is the second, and final part of Tristan and Colleen's story, picking up where the first book left off, with them being chased by the Russian mob.
They are forced to travel from place to place, even jetting across the world, to try and stay one step ahead, and alive. Tristan has an obligation to fulfill, while trying to keep himself, Colleen, and their friends who end up involved, safe. He even ends up getting help from old Le Rosey friends, and other characters from previous books.
It takes Tristan some time (which he really didn't have) to learn that he's not alone, and working together is the key to all of them surviving the ordeal. They encounter many twists and turns along the way, overcoming each with teamwork.
There is one final twist that is a perfect lead in to the next character, Micah. I can't wait to read his story next!
This is the 2nd book in the Scholarship Mafia Billionaires series and we continue with Tristan and Colleen's story where we left off in Twisted. Things start off with a bang for Tristan and Colleen in their exciting action-packed escape from the Russian Bratva. This leads to Tristan and Colleen each figuring out who the other is and they don't know how to meet the conditions of the promissory note or where they should turn next. Their friends are getting caught in the firing line too it's not just Tristan's IP and fortune on the line it's so much more than that. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this exciting action-packed story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this book and I'm looking forward to reading whatever Ms. Babylon writes next. I received an ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
What a conclusion to a crazy , great story !!! This story picks up right where we left off , and the action is incredible !!! Not gonna lie , a lot of the crypto currency stuff was way over my head, but after reading this , I think I have a better grasp on the subject. But Twist and Colleen totally understand it !!! As the story moves along to its jaw dropping conclusions , we see Colleen and Twist navigate their way through treacherous territory, skimming the edges of , " ...behind every great fortune, is a great crime...."', . These two are so cute together !!! I loved the way that they vibes together, and seemed to share the same ," headspace" . We also learn a little more about the ," scholarship mafia" , trio and the mystery deepens . Of course , some old friends show up , and it was like a great reunion !!!! I sincerely hope that these books Never end !!!!
I don’t know how Blair Babylon does it. The conclusion to the duet of Twisted (and Tangled) kept me on the edge of my seat nearly to the very end.
Tristan was in a really bad spot, caught between a rock and a hard place. I really didn’t see how Blair was going to get him out of it but she did! I thought the way she did it was pretty inventive and this story surely held my attention from beginning to end.
There was quite a bit of jargon in this book about stocks and hacking that I didn’t always fully understand but that didn’t matter to my overall enjoyment of the story. It actually made me want to learn more.
I can’t forget to mention the HOT, HOT and HOTTER factor in this story. Tristan and Colleen get up to lots of sexy time – wow!
The romance and suspense/mystery for Tristan and Colleen was concluded in this story but Blair gave us an intriguing look at what is coming next in Shine, available to pre-order now; I can’t wait!
Book: Tangled (Scholarship Mafia Billionaires, #2) Author: Blair Babylon My Rating: 5 Stars Reviewed by: Tammy - Book Nook Nuts
REVIEW Tristan and Collen find themselves in all kinds of danger. They also find themselves all over the globe running from the mafia? and others?
Not only Tristan and Collen though this time. He has somehow managed to get Anjali, and Jian into this whole life-threatening ordeal too. Can they get out of it? Will he beat them at their own game and keep everything he owns including Collen? and save his friends. Colleen, I adore so much... strong, fierce, and nope no putting baby in the corner Tristan hehe she will be tied to a rope literally. One sizzling hot couple here! Tons of action, and a roller coaster ride of emotions. I love that we also see some players from previous books.
**I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book**
Tangled picks up right where Twisted leaves off with Tristan and Colleen trying to get out of trouble! In a thrilling action-packed escape from the Russian Bravata. And in the fact Tristan and Colleen have just figured out who the other is. Not knowing where to turn next and how to meet the requirements of the promissory note it's a wild adventure from LA to Phoenix and through to Monaco.
With their friends getting mixed up in the cross-hairs too, it's more than just Tristan's fortune and IP on the line as the story develops. It's who you can really count on when everything is on the line. And who you choose to make your family with that matters most. With brilliant cameos from other Le Rosey friends of Tristan's, it was fun Easter eggs to spot throughout the story. I received an ARC for a voluntary and honest review.
Oh boy the second installment of Colleen and Tristans adventure sure starts with a bang. The action and suspense keeps you turning the page as they try to keep ahead of the Bratvia and the mysterious Dr Bell. Will they have to give in to their demands or can they outwit them and save the day. I often learn new things when reading Ms Babylons stories, the blend of fiction and reality is well done. I was intrigued by the process of how trade stocks and shares work in the background. I'd never want to do it myself but I sure enjoyed reading all about the deals they did to get a positive outcome for them all.. and the plot twist... OMG I hope we find out why... Soon. Grab a copy now. ***Thanks to the author for allowing me to give my honest opinion on this book***
"O, what a tangled web we weave when we first practise to deceive!" (Sir Walter Scott) This quote by Sir Walter Scott perfectly sums up Tristan's, aka Twisty Trader, life once he gets a mysterious letter from the Malefactor's Estate. From kidnappings and sex trafficking to breaking and entering, Colleen and Tristan's journey is one full of misadventures. As they work together to meet the demands of the letter, we witness a transformation in Colleen and the beginnings of a beautiful relationship. With friends from past Billionaires in Disguise stories, this is one book that you won't want to miss! I read n ARC of Tangled and willingly left this honest review.
"I am a bear of very little brain" said Pooh. And that's what I felt like with all the trading talk.
That aside, this was a fast paced conclusion to the duet. The relationship between Colleen and Twist is something of a roller coaster at times, yet still relatable.
Enjoyable. Surprising. Melty.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Tangled is aptly named since there are so many twists and turns in this fast-paced story that tests loyalties and friendships while the gang are escaping the Russian Mafia and other hostile forces and unknowns. I am in awe of the amount of research that must have been done by the author around programming, cyber hacking, moderated stock blogs, stock trading and market manipulation, etc.
There were seriously steamy intimate scenes, and while their sexual kinks were certainly not mine, I understand why it worked for them.
Secondary characters include Jian who is Tristan’s Personal Assistant and Colleen’s co-moderator Anjali who take on key roles in this story, and I can’t wait to get more on their backgrounds and connection in future books. Cameos by familiar faces from Rogue Security, Casimir, and Max & Dree created charming moments in the story for me. While Tristan and Colleen’s duet is sort of wrapped up, OMG the hints about the forthcoming next installment about Micah Shine are tantalizing and opened a huge pile of questions about Dr. Bell and the favors that are being called in.
One thing after another and Colleen and Tristan are making the deals of their lives. Just for fun Jian and Anjali are pulled into the mix. Really an incredibly fast read and rollercoaster of action and emotion.
So needing the next in the series...Shine. I'm anxious to see what Micah deals with, and of course to find out how Colleen and Tristan & Anjali and Jian are doing.
I have been anxiously waiting for book two in the Scholarship Mafia Billionaires series and Tangled did not disappoint! This continues Tristan and Colleen’s story right where Twisted ends, but don’t worry, the author gives just the right amount of info in the first chapter to freshen your memory of where the plot left off. Lots of action, plot twists, sexy times and a roller coaster of emotions. We get another peek at old friends like Rogue Security and Casimir and of course, Maxence and Dree from earlier series. I also enjoyed getting to know Anjali and Jian, supporting characters that play a much larger role in this second book. Now to wait for book three, Shine!
Second and finish of Twisted, Colleen and Tristan’s story. And WOW, this one is another out standing addition to my “Blair” catalog of books. The research was, as always, well done. The romance, steam and HEA, are all here and I do believe there will be some type of reckoning in a future book. Awesome read.
This was an entertaining end to Tristan's part of the Twisted Billionaires series. Tristan was an interesting character -- this book continues his romance with Colleen, and resolves Tristan's problem with the Russian mafia. It does not, of course, resolve the entire Russian Mafia problem, as there are several more books in this series. This book gets 3.5 stars from me, rounded down to 3 stars.
My rating would have been higher, but I prefer romances to have less kinky sex. Ever since 50 Shades of Grey was such a success, most romances feature at least some BDSM and some kinky scenes. This is true of most of Blair Babylon's books and series. I get that some people really enjoy that in romances, but I just don't find hurting your lover romantic. I will still read Blair's books, because her writing/plots are very good -- but I wish more romances would feature love scenes that do not contain BDSM or a lot of kink.
Some of the kink in this one disturbed me, as I wasn't convinced that Colleen really knew enough about the Dom/Sub lifestyle as she should have before Tristan introduced her to it. I get that he always made sure she enjoyed their intimacy, but I honestly felt that he was kind of indoctrinating her to like his sexual style. That really bothered me, and is the main reason for my 3 star rating.
I waited until both of Tristan's books came out before reading either of them. I know that all of Blair's books tend to have an overarching plot, and that the 1st Tristan book would leave a lot of unresolved issues. I don't like cliffhanger endings, so I wanted to read both Tristan books close together.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
Tristan is the cause of Colleen getting fired from her job at GameShack, but he has a brilliant idea to help her and for her to earn her wages. She is, after all, quite an amazing hacker in her own right. She may not have been able to afford to finish school, but she will do anything to keep herself from going back to her family farm business. However, it seems the deeper she gets into Twist's life with him, the more danger she is exposed to, not the least of which is the Russian Bratva chasing after them to gain control of a computer program he invented that could give them complete access to whatever they want in their world of crime. However, hers isn't the only life in danger now.
Twist will do almost anything to keep the Bratva from stealing his program, but he doesn't want to give it to his benefactor's estate either. Still, he doesn't want Colleen to be placed in any more danger than she's already faced since they met. Though he can count on his friends to help him out in a pinch, he can't control the threat the Russians have become to Colleen or those around them. He'll have to do something huge to escape the clutches of the mob and his benefactor, but he may need to involve her in order to protect her.
The action never slowed, and the story never dulled. Our hero and heroine went from the fire into the frying pan, and we got to see just what strong stuff Colleen was made of. It was a heck of a thrill ride and has me excited to find out what happens next in the Scholarship Mafia.
It really is a shame that Blair Babylon is known for the sexual aspect of her stories more than for the plots. She's an excellent writer, her stories are full of intrigue, lots of suspense, twisty plots and great characters. This is the second book in the story of Tristan and Colleen but it may not be the last one. Something about the ending makes me think there is more to come. Especially since all of the scholarship club receives the "letters," each asking for repayment of money loaned to them by the "malefactor" or they will be killed and the others will have to fulfill their portion of the request. I don't think these guys are going to let "Dr. Bell" get away with taking so much from them. I was disappointed it took Tristan, Colleen and their friends so long to reach the BitCoin idea since it was pointed out as the logical solution to their problem early in the story but heir slowness didn't take away from the plot. It was like watching a movie and yelling at the actors to not do something when you knew they were going to do it anyway. I don't usually like "filler" information. Something Ms. Babylon often uses, but its' been interesting in this story and in Maxence's too. I have been known to skip some of the sex because I want to get back to the real story. Also, the way the male characters treat the females, all the lovely words and tenderness? Never met a male that said or did those things. It's sweet but unrealistic. Get these books! You won't be disappointed. Read all of her books if you can.
Holy Moly this book! Tangled is the second and final book for Tristan and Colleen and it doesn’t disappoint. I read this book in one day and it was worth the sleep deprivation I’m going through right now lol Tristan has been given the impossible task of repaying an old debt by crashing GameStop shares. Colleen used to work for GameStop and is doing her best to help him. Between running from the Russian mafia, saving kidnapped friends and calling in favours, it’s not looking good for them. The chemistry and storyline are off the charts exciting! Believe me when I tell you I did not see the end coming! Such a fantastic story but I expect nothing less from my favourite author. If this is your first time reading a Blair Babylon book, do yourself a favour and start at the beginning with Billionaires in Disguise. No one writes a series like Blair and you’ll be glad you did!
This second ‘book’ is seamless continuation from the first book, which does seem to be something BB does often. I was reading towards the end and it seems that Tristian has done a deal with the devil(Dr Bell) to save his friends and his girlfriend, Colleen. But we are suddenly confronted by the fact that one of his friends is behind the swindle and he is not leaving the others out of it.. Tristan offers Colleen brand new life… a role she excels at… but she does not ask how he resolved the situation.. Now, instead helping Micah, who has received a letter like his own, we have skipped one year! With no mention of what Tristan has had to deliver or the consequences of that, or whether his friends are in trouble, we are told that Colleen has created a profitable company, and he proposes… That last chapter has completely changed my enjoyment of the book.. Now I am confused😵💫
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
It was definitely more plot driven than romance driven. Colleen and Tristen had to work together to figure out how to get him out of this mess. I really like that it caused them to grow closer, to learn about each other, to spend time together. While the two books only take place over about two weeks it feels like longer.
I kinda wish we had seen more romance though. The parts we got were good and the spice was spicy, but I thought there would be more travel and romance and spice and I didn’t really get that.
Also, the plot was good, and the author is clearly setting it up to be a long run plot over the course of the series, but the first half of this book DRAGGED. I felt like the entire time they were in Colleen’s apartment could have just been completely removed from the book.
I liked this duet well enough but I don’t think I’ll continue the series.
Hanging with Tristan King, the TwistyTrader stock market whale and computer hacker, is like a game of Russian roulette, with actual Russians trying to shoot you while you try to beat the clock imposed by another sinister entity who has the power to take everything. Stuck between these opposing threats, Colleen must decide what is more important to her, trusting the person who seems to be less than trustworthy or taking her chances on her own again which didn’t work out so well before. Constant action and suspense with sexy times between. Will Colleen’s life be changed or will Tristan’s? Can they plan a future together? Another excellent series from Blair Babylon.
I just love BB´s books. They really do have everything you´d want in a romance novel if you are looking for action in and out of the bedroom!
Tangled is the second book to the Colleen and Tristan duet. You have to read Twisted first or nothing will make any sense in Tangled.
I enjoyed the Twisted/Tangled duet very much, but unlike the other books I´ve read by this author I didn´t feel the connection between the protagonists to be so strong or emotionally pulling.
I enjoyed the action and the story that ends with a big twist and keeps you hanging and hoping that October 11, would arrive sooner!!
Billionaires In Disguise. Fanfreakingtastic read. This is Twist and Colleen second book in their duet. An awesome way to end their story. There are some many twisty things going on. And the end of the book is a banger you don't see coming. As the crew which includes her bestie and his assistant, they fight the bad guys, they must also fight to stay together despite the insecurities. But it doesn't stop there cause a big question looms. What is gonna be the big secret that explodes? It was great seeing Rogue Security, Maxence and Dree again. Drama filled, angsty so freaking tingle worthy.
Blair Babylon has continued the trend - of writing a story that one cannot put down until every word a nd piece of punctuation has been devoured, and battery life on one's ereader has sounded the alarm of imminent shutdown. I love that she keeps a reader on their virtual toes, with unpredictable dips and turns and changes in elevation that are sure to please once all is revealed. I won't even dwell on the Easter eggs, references to other series and other characters whose mention prompts a thrill of recognition ( and a desire for more books featuring those characters). Angel, where are you?
Tangled is the second book that follows Tristan and Colleen. I enjoyed the book, but a lot of the plot was over my head. I really enjoyed the twists and turns and the developing romance/relationship between the main characters. It was well written and as always, had very interesting characters. I look forward to seeing what comes next because this book, even though it's the final book only about Colleen and Tristan, is a puzzle piece to a much bigger story. I was given the opportunity to read a copy of this book
