Ale to było fajne! Czuć klimat takiej bajki opowiadanej na dobranoc przez rodzica. Czytając ją sobie przed snem czułam się właśnie tak, jakby mi ktoś tę historię na dobranoc opowiadał.
Jest trochę moralizatorsko, ale w taki miły i przystępny sposób.

Das deutsche Hörbuch ist wunderschön vom Autor gelesen! Sehr empfehlenswert! Der Autor kann seine Stimme richtig gut verstellen und hat die Geschichte mit viel Liebe und Humor gelesen und geschrieben.

Ulrich Hub jest mi dobrze znany z "Lisy nie kłamią" i "O ósmej na arce". Ten autor ma bardzo charakterystyczny, szybko rozpoznawalny styl, który z fantazją puentuje kreską Jorg Muhle. Ten duet się świetnie dopełnia i nie dziwię się, że czytelnicy lubią i czekają na kolejne pozycje od tych dwóch utalentowanych Panów.
KULAWA KACZKA I ŚLEPA KURA - cóż, już sam tytuł zmusił mnie do przeczytania. Człowiek zaraz wie, że dostanie coś przekornego, coś trochę klasycznego i odrobinę karykaturalnego. Zawsze łapię się na tym, że opowieści tego pisarza traktuję z góry jak metaforę, jak jedną wielką przenośnię, która próbuje opisać w miły sposób bardzo trudne tematy.
Ta konkretna historia, to przygoda dwóch bohaterek, z której każda ma jakiś defekt. Kaczka jest kulawa, boi się wyjść poza swoje podwórko i jest strasznie samotna. Kura jest ślepa i prawdopodobnie dzięki swej ślepocie niewiarygodnie, wręcz nierozsądnie odważna. Obie chcą spełnić swoje marzenia, tylko... czy wiedzą, jakie ono jest?
Hub potrafi tworzyć zabawne i mądre opowiadania niby dla dzieci, lecz tak naprawdę są to historie dla każdego. Przyjaźń, której wielu z nas szuka - w książkach Huba jest słodko-gorzka. Nie ma tu jasnego dobrego zakończenia - bo kaczka będzie kuleć, a kura będzie ślepa... I właśnie to sprawia, że ta pozycja jest prawdziwa, nie ma nierealnie doskonałych krągłości, a jej bohaterowie są dalecy od ideału.
Polecam, bo ten autor, choć często posługuje się i odwołuje do znanych cytatów, robi to z wyczuciem... nawet pamiętny dialog z "Szarady" się tu wkradł i wywołał wieki uśmiech na mej twarzy (bo to mój ukochany tekst z tego filmu). I jak to było... "Celem jest droga"?
Bardzo ładnie wydana książka, ciekawa propozycja dla czytelników i dużych i małych. Jeśli ktoś rozmiłuje się w opowieściach tego autora, którym towarzyszą proste, celne i w swej dosłowności genialne ilustracje Jorga Muhlea - to może zebrać całą kolekcję.

Duck lives in a shaded backyard, never seeing the sun. She needs a crutch to walk and has no visitors, so she is a bit lonely.
Still, the backyard is all she knows, and she’s too scared to leave it and change her life.
Totally unexpectedly, a chicken wearing dark glasses walks into the yard. It’s only when Chicken trips over Duck’s crutch that Duck realises she is blind.
Chicken has brought a secret with her. She is searching for a wonderful place in the world where secret dreams come true. She doesn’t now where it is, but she’s certain she’ll know when she gets there. After much discussion and coaxing by Chicken, Duck decides to go with this new and interesting stranger.
They talk, they bicker and argue on the journey, but also face dangers one moment and dance joyfully the next, and learn about each other on the way. Duck even learns Chicken’s secret dream. If only Chicken would remember it once telling Duck.

🟢Здесь обитает одинокая хромая утка, и к ней никто не ходит в гости. Хотя у этой утки столько арахиса, что она бы с удовольствием кого-нибудь угостила.
🔵Хоть я тебя и не вижу, но танцуешь ты великолепно. Верь мне, у меня нюх на такое.
🟣Каждая утка имеет право на тайну.
Ульрих Хуб и Йорг Мюле написали потрясающую книжку “Слепая курица, хромая утка” (издательство Самокат), а Елена Леенсон перевела это все на русский язык.
Вспомните, как вы были сильно (или не очень) помладше, у вас рядом точно был друг или подруга. Вот вы дружите, все беззаботно и прекрасно, но наступает момент, когда набегают тучи. Сидели вроде бы мирно, рисовали фломастерами, нюхали, как они пахнут и БАЦ! Противоречия! И как-то страшно хочется намять друг другу бока. Не бывает дружбы без желания иногда дать другу в глаз. Но такие моменты, как тучи: налетают быстро и рассеиваются так же быстро.
Слепая курица и хромая утка (кстати, в названии нет никакого “и”) пытаются найти счастье в жизни - как и все мы. Со страхами пытаются бороться - все как у нас. Рискуют войти в дремучий лес, перевалиться через ущелье или просто взлететь - перипетии нашей жизни.
Книжка о том, какими бывают отношения двух друзей. Как бывает сложно поверить в себя. Как можно рисковать, пробовать и доверяться. Если у тебя есть немножечко арахиса, тебе обязательно нужен тот, с кем можно поделиться.
P.S. Еще я ужасно люблю, когда в детских книжках есть слова типа “зад”, “дура”, “тупая”. Не стоит их бояться, это про жизнь в безопасных обстоятельствах.

Ik las de Nederlandse vertaling!
Te leuk dit verhaal! Een mooi, grapig en gelaagd liefdesverhaal tussen een manke eend en een blinde haan.
Op de saaie donkere binnenplaats waar manke eend woont gebeurt nooit iets, tot blinde haan op een dag op de binnenplaats verschijnt. Blinde haan heeft een wens, hij wil de baas spelen over iedereen. Om die wens in vervulling te laten gaan moeten ze op reis. De reis gaat door bossen, over rivieren, naar een hoge bergtop… of toch niet? Als blinde haan zich uiteindelijk realiseert dat hij eigenlijk helemaal niet meer weet wat z’n wens was, maar dat hij in elk geval niet meer zonder manke eend kan is het bijna te laat. De reis heeft manke eend zo uitgeput dat ze helemaal instort.
Voorlezen vanaf 4-5 jaar, maar ook heerlijk om zelf te lezen vanaf 7!
‘Jij…, zegt haan, ‘jij kunt toveren met woorden.’ Als eend dat hoort wordt ze onder haar veren zo rood als een kreeft, en weer is ze blij dat haan er niks van ziet.
‘Weet je wat ik vervelend vind aan jou?’ zegt ze zacht.
‘Nou wat dan?’
‘Niets’.

Wunderbare Geschichte über wachsende Freundschaft, wie weit darf ich mit Lügen gehen und einfach die Realität, dass eine Behinderung nicht das ganze Leben bestimmt, sondern man trotzdem so vieles (gemeinsam) erleben kann. Freue mich schon darauf, dieses Buch mit meinen SchülerInnen zu lesen. Und die Bilder sind wunderbar, minimalistisch aber so treffend.

Very cute, short novel for young readers. Reads like an elongated picture book. Lots to unpack and young readers will love the unlikely pairing of a blind chicken and duck with a bad leg. Love the birth stories and how the characters' personalities from the beginning shaped them both physically, mentally and emotionally.

De avonturen van manke eend en blinde haan deed me denken aan O wat mooi is Panama van Janosch. Het is een erg aandoenlijk verhaal met scherp taalgebruik. Omdat eend en haan heel verschillend zijn kibbelen ze er tijdens hun reis driftig op los. Het einde zal veel kinderen verrassen. Heel leuk boekje voor onderbouw PO.

Dit is leesplezier en filosofie op zijn best.

Poprzednie książki autora baaardzo mi się podobały, ale ta... Są momenty bardzo śmieszne, ale zakończenie niestety jakby trochę doklejone. No i dużo momentów, kiedy jednak przewracałam oczami. Przykro mi to mówić, ale mnie nie przekonała.

Yes its a children's book, and it is delightful. A lovely story of “opposites attracting” and the wonders of imagination and friendship.
