I am crazy.

The hospital have said so.

They may have released me back to Santa Catalina Island but my demons are far from done haunting me.

My best friend tells me I just need to take the meds and go to therapy, and I'll get better.

But who are these boys that keep telling me I know them? And why does it feel like Summer isn't telling me the whole truth?

When the voices return and the four men start pushing their way back into my life, I'm powerless to resist.

Maybe I'm not as crazy as everyone wants me to believe.

Endangered is book 2 in this paranormal reverse harem romance series, meaning our FMC will have more than one love interest and won’t have to choose between them. You need to have read book one, Silenced, to understand this one. Endangered ends on a cliff-hanger, but you probably already knew that, didn’t you?

Endangered is the second book in the Santa Catalina University series . This is also apart of a multi-author, shared universe. This automatically picks up where the last one left us. I was soooo hooked ever since I started this series. I FREAKING ADORE COVE AND BHODI!! If no one has staked their claim on them, then I totally volunteer as tribute! This book makes me have so much more questions than I did before. I seriously can't wait for the upcoming books!

loving this story!

I still haven’t read the blurbs for this series so I am going in blind as to what’s going on and what’s happening and I love it. I li e the mystery of trying to figure out everything while Malia navigates it all. I do love that she gets to meet Cove and Bhodi over again. Her seeing a different side of Bhodi is perfect. But man what a cliffhanger. Going to read the next book now ❤️

If you haven't read book 1 yet, run to get it, read it, and come back for book 2.

It starts right back off where book 1 ended, and Malia can't really catch a break. The book is full of plot twists, and when you think you finally get an answer, 10 more questions pop up. Seriously? I have a bittersweet relationship with this as I always want my favourite character to get their HEA and the men they deserve. Well, at least Malia gets closer to some of the guys, and we'll need to wait for a few more books before they can get their HEA. I don't know how I'll be able to be patient enough to wait for the next release 😂

Malia.

Great book. This told a little more about Malia. She was in her room and something happened. She called Cove for help but he didn’t answer so she left a message not knowing what was happening. She called her friend next and she came over and took her to the hospital. Cove and the guys listened to the message but by the time they listened and got to her room she was gone. She was gone for 2 weeks but the guys followed her friend the whole time. They were supposed to stop following her but one of the guys didn’t listen and found her and her friend leaving the hospital. She stayed in her room once she got there. Weeks later Bhodi came to her room and forced her to go to class but she panicked when she got to the front door of the dorms. He picked her up because she told him what was going on and he ran to the building that their class was in. A lot happened in the book. Definitely a great series.

I think I liked Endangered even better than Silenced! This book, even though there is definitely less murder mystery going on, still has enough going on to keep you fully invested in the storyline and the characters. I really liked how focused this book was on relationship building and actually gave the guys (mainly Cove and Bodhi) a chance at forming a real connection with Malia. The first book seemed to have shorter interactions between the characters so it was nice to see something less fleeting. Cove and Bodhi really did a great job getting Malia to warm up to them despite all of the issues she was having. Cove was a comfort whereas Bodhi helped push her past her abnormal comfort zones.

Malia really was put through the wringer in this book. She had some issues in the first book, but this one really took the cake. Between copious amounts of medication, therapy, forced stays in mental hospitals and memory loss, she had so much going on. It was incredible that she was even sober or mentally strong enough to be able to understand anything going on with herself. With this entire situation it is really hard to know who can really be trusted. People that I thought were safe before now seem more suspicious, their actions coming off as less helpful and more aggressive than before. There has to be a ton more secrets being kept from Malia. I feel like she might handle everything coming at her more if she knew information about exactly what was happening to her. It's better to be kept in the know than be oblivious to the problems around you. I'm really looking forward to everything being outed, both the good and the bad, and see how Malia handles the new information thrown at her.

Disappointing

I honestly really liked the first book and I do like the premise of the storyline, however none of the 'protectors' seem to really care about Malia or their duty. They just seem like a-holes and f boys.

The whole book was 1 step forward 3 steps back and it was infuriating.

The plot is too drawn out. 2 books in and she still doesn't know what she is? Come on!

So, this story picks up where the last one left off. Cove received a call from MT saying that she was scared and could hear voices, but by the time that he and the other guys got to her, she was gone. Nothing seems out of place, but she's missing. They did question Summer, who claimed to know nothing, but since they are suspicious, they continue to follow her. It turns out that somehow Malia was admitted into a psych ward. When she comes out though, not only does she not seem herself, but she has no memory of Cove, or Bhodi. That strikes them all as weird, but they continue to make it a point to be a part of her life, and make her come back around to them.

Malia come out of the hospital feeling worse than she's felt in a long time. She knows that the voices she's hearing aren't real, but she can't help but feel like they are. Unfortunately though, her going through this ordeal forces Summer to take care of her, and help her out more, but that seems to put a strain on their relationship, especially since Summer shows up at the most inconvenient times and seems to only want her to meet her boyfriends. At this point Malia starts to want nothing to do with Summer, so she becomes closer to Cove and Bhodi. She finds out that they know each other and don't mind her talking to both of them, but even as things gets more serious with Cove, she can't help but try to fill in the gaps in her memory that seem to become triggered by things. Malia knows full well that things don't add up with Cove, Bhodi, but when she finds out that all the men in her life, including her therapist are connected, she has to make the decision to hear them out or run.

So, the second book in the Catalina University series, Crystal North did a great job leading up to things and keeping her characters true to their natural selves that she showed in the first book. I even love how Malia stayed true to her awkward self, and even laughed out loud a few times are her exchanges with people. I am invested in this series now.

You need to read book 1 first if you haven't you need to now and fast. I'll wait right here. Ok now we are ready.

This is book 2 in the "Santa Caralina University" multi-author series. It picks up right where "Silenced" left off. You get some questions answered but then 5 more come your way. I love that this book and series isn't predictable and it keeps you on your toes.

Mai Tai comes home from the hospital but it's almost like she has slight amnesia. She feels drawn to the guys but can't remember why. But this gives them the perfect opportunity to show her how important she is. Cove and Bodhi are incredible . Cove being the smooth caring golden retriever. Bodies is the big tattooed bad boy. And of course I need to know where I can get one of each please. You start to learn why the guys are different. And it ends on a cliffhanger. Book 3 here I come.

PLOT. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“There’s something going on, some mystery surrounding Malia, and I can’t shake the feeling in my gut that she’s tied to all of this, to all of us, somehow.”

After the cliffhanger I was left dangling from in Silenced I was dying to know what happened to Malia-Tarni? I’m pleased to report that I wasn’t left hanging for too long once I started Endangered. She is alive (obviously or we wouldn’t have a second book!) but not all is well. She’s changed, withdrawn and without some key memories.

Within this book we mostly have Cove and Bhodi’s POV as they try to reignite their relationships with Malia. The book is a slow burn with plenty of building steam between the character.

But the main focus I found was what is the deal with Malia? Is she the star? Well I’m not saying but I will say after reading this you’ll have a whole new list of questions needing to be answered!

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I had to take a couple days to digest what happened and get my thoughts in order.

I'm on the fence as of now about this book. I honestly wasn't expecting it to open how it did and that was a surprise to say the least. I feel like we are kinda back where the first book started but we got to see a little more insight between the men especially Bodie and Cove which I love. So far Bodie is my favorite and we kinda get a little tease of a 5 guy being added possibly? I was a little frustrated with Mai-Tai because it feels like she's constantly running away instead of facing her problems. I'm interested to see what book 3 brings us and am hopeful that we gain a bit more traction in that one. This author hasn't let me down yet and I'm sure book 3 will be a doozy!

I need more!

From reading Silenced, I’ve loved how diverse Malia is to your typical heroine and in this book, I’ve felt for her even more. I was intrigued in that book but reading Endangered it is so much more, with my mind spiralling of who and what the characters are and what’s twists will occur. I love Cove and Bodhi and I’m definitely interested in the two other guys, praying I’ll get to know them even more during the next book. Love the chemistry that Malia has with Cove! I want my very own Cove and Bodhi.
This book brought a smile to my face and had me giggling at some parts, Malia is just a character that you will love.
Can’t wait for the next one!

Book 2 in the scu series and this is a direct continuation from book 1 so if you haven't already go and read silenced first.

I am loving this series, it is uniquely refreshing and full of twists along the way. I do feel this book asked more questions than provided answers for but I have faith in the author that books 3 & 4 will eventually solve them all.

It was great to see Cove and Bohdi's relationship with Malia-Tarni evolve in this book however I did miss not seeing much of Vance or Reef (maybe they will feature more in future books).

Overall this is shaping up to be a great series and I am eagerly awaiting the future books releases.

For a Reverse Harem book, this feels surprisingly intimate. Following the events of the previous book, the story is stripped back to deal mostly with just Mai-Tai, Cove and Bhodi. The others make an appearance, sure, but the bulk of the story is focussed on them trying to figure out what happened, and what is Summer's involvement.

This stripped down story is no bad thing, and it allows us to focus more on how their relationships develop and the mystery with Mai-Tai. And I think Cove may be one of my favourite book boyfriends to date!

As always, there's a cliffhanger that leaves you with even more questions, but it's been a fun read and I can't wait for the next one!

Book 2 of this series was just as stellar as book 1. We get some answers to the ending of book 1 and get to see Malia-Tarni figuring out her life. While they are four love interests in this series, we get to spend a lot of time with two of them. I think this will be important moving forward as these two guys are the most trustworthy to her. MT doesn't even know how awesome she is because she has something going on the prevents her from recognizing that. Don't want to give too much away. We also get some action in book 2 which is always well written and hot when its a Crystal North book. But in typical fashion from the Cliffhanger Queen, we'll have to wait for book 3 to get more!

Endangered is book 2 in The Santa Catalina University series and it follows on quickly after Silenced (book 1) with a whole new level of twistedly good plot twists. I loved Cove & Bhodi but there wasn't so much book time with Reef & Vance. Not sure that's a loss after how they were in the last book but I'm keeping an open mind about them in future books. There was a real sweetness to Cove and Bhodi that I really liked. I was a little bit confused about Summer? Where her loyalities lie? I'm looking forward to finding that out amongst other unanswered questions that I have in the remaining books. I'm enjoying reading this series so much and I can't wait to get my hands on more books from it

After that awful cliffhanger in book one I was beyond glad to have this book out. This whole book went a different direction than I thought it would, which worked well for the story.

We get to see more of Malia, Cove and Bhodi. The story does not show much from Vance or Reef. We also get a few chapters from Summers POV, which was great! I don't think I have ever been more curious about a side character before.

It did have another cliffhanger, however I would say it was more mild. Nothing like the cliffhanger from book one.

Yes I was waiting for this book and it was everything I wanted but it was on the shorter side for me so that was sad but the story is perfect itself. I'm impressed with how the story flows and the perspective it gives but was a little bit disappointed we didn't see much of Reef and Vance but maybe the next book. I really enjoy the books in this series. This is part a series from Crystal and that can't be read as a standalone. You don't have to read the other authors books but start with Silenced. I'll tell you it is really good and the story engaging and I couldn't put it down.

I love this series!!!

Endangered is book #2 in the Santa Catalina University series. Its a paranormal reverse harem.

I need more so bad!!!

We pick up where we left off in Silenced, and the story keeps you glued to the pages!! We get action, suspense, amazing spice, mystery and you will be left with questions you will beg for the answers to!

I freaking love Malia so much, I'm kinda obsessed with Cove and Bhodi and I can't wait for more of Malia, Vance, Reef, Cove and Bhodi!!! I love this series, its seriously addictive and will have you hooked!!!

My goodness, this series is continuing to keep me on my toes. This picks up from where book 1 left off and I have to say I didn’t see a lot of the twists and turns that were going to come with this book. The relationship with summer and Malia is tense, but rebuilding her relationships with Cove and Bhodi was interesting to watch and see. I have to say I need to know more about Summer’s parents! The mystery in this book kept me at the edge of my seat. I cannot wait to find the it why happens next in this series!

This was an interesting turn in Mai Tai’s story. We see at the beginning that she was attacked and left not herself and without her memory. So we get some very sweet moments between Cove and her plus Bhodi, as well, as they try to draw her back out. It was almost as if she was not only getting to know them for the first time but also getting to know herself. I’m disappointed in Summer but curious to see what role she really plays. We don’t see Reef or Vance that much and we have more questions then answers but I’m looking forward to finding out more!

Fantastic!!!
The series continues to be amazing! There was suspense, angst and steam. I feel like we learned a lot in this book, but it also led to more questions that needed answers. My heart wants to break for Malia at times, but she has an inner strength that tries to shine through. I love the guys. We definitely get more of Cove and Bhodi in this book, but i felt like it gave us a little more insight on them and their feelings towards Malia.
That ending!!! I'm in need of book 3 as soon as possible!!

great read

Book 2 of a series and not to be read as a standalone.

Endangered picks up where book 1 left us and we find out what happened to Malia after her run in with the shadows, the results aren’t pretty and my heart bled for MT with the way she is being manipulated however her strength really shines through when she subconsciously starts to fight back by slowly reclaiming her memories.
Although this book brings up more questions then answers I’ve found this series to be great so far and I’m excited for book 3 in feb.

Book 2 in the Santa Catalina University Series is just as entertaining at Book 1 that sucked you in and had wanting more. Malia is a girl who is being manipulated by **SPOILER**, I don't trust this person or the other persons who are guiding them. OR are they working for the good of Malia along with the boys? And who is this new guy that is helping Malia, what are his intentions?
See, intriguing and thrilling. I can't wait to read more about Reef and Prof, I am eager to see where they fit into this whole thing.
Another thrilling book with OS moments and a massive cliffhanger.

Follows on straight after Silenced.

MT has been sent to a mental hospital for the last 2 weeks. The guys have been stalking Summer (her best friend) as they are worried about MT. They seem to think she has something to do with what’s happening on campus.
She can’t remember anything not even the guys.
She has therapy sessions every day and hospital visits.
Bodhi & Cove start talking to her and trying to get her to remember. They even start taking her out on dates.
What is happening to MT? This story again ends on a cliffhanger. Need to read the next one to find out what happened.

This book carries on from the cliffhager from the previous book with this one also ending on another cliffy.

From the first page it sucks you back in to the life of Marni-Talia who returns to Santa Catalina and if you expected things to go smoothly then you maybe surprised with some of the twists in the book, all is not what it seems. Expect to see some of the previous characters from book one, one being her best friend Summer and of course Cove, Reef, Bodhi and Vance

This is the second book in the Santa Catalina University Series, and I must say, this series has me captivated.

The mystery, intrigue, suspense, action, and of course the steaminess of the story is simply amazing. The characters are super intriguing as well. The writing, world building, and character development are also incredible.

I loved this book and will be excitedly awaiting the next one.

Oh Mai Tai! I instantly loved her and the fact that she isn't your typical tough fmc. She has a lot to deal with both internally and externally that she finds a way to work through which makes her tough in a different way. I love how patient the guys are with her while she attempts to overcome her issues. It was so refreshing to read a series with characters that are unique and not the typical type you find so often in books. Another good series by this author.

This is the second book in this series so if you haven't read Silenced (book one) then I suggest you read it first. This second book is a continuation of the story and picks up right where book one ended. Malia has a lot to deal with in the story but I loved the growth in not only her but her guys. There's lots going on and I enjoyed the feel of all the twists and turns throughout. We get to see more into whole these characters are and I loved that. And that ending... Bring on book 3!

This is the second book in the Santa Catalina University series.

We pick up where the first book ended.

Malia really can't catch a break. She had issues in the first book but wow here it is even worse.

Medication, therapy, mental hospitals and even some memory loss she has so much on her plate.

It is hard to know who she can trust.

This book is full of plot twists and when you think you have the answer ... You are so wrong.

We are left with more questions than in the first book.

I was so invested into this storyline.

I am really curious how she will deal with the new information that was thrown at her.

Big love for Bodie and Cove ofcourse (as well of Vance and Reef).

I absolutely love Malia. We are only getting bits and pieces of her past but I can just tell she has had some awful stuff that happened to her. I definitely would love a bigger picture of her past. Cove is definitely a good guy willing to put in the work in to help Malia. I loved the changes with Bodhi in this book and just wanted more of him. I also have some theories that I can’t wait to figure out if I’m right! I’m so excited for the next book!!!
