Introduce babies and toddlers to colors in this charming board book companion to the #1 New York Times bestseller Here We Are, from world-renowned picture book creator Oliver Jeffers!
Inspired by the bestselling picture book, Here We Are, comes this irresistible concept board book that helps introduce babies and toddlers to the many colors of our world. A tender and charming book to welcome babies to our planet.
Oliver Jeffers' work takes many forms. His distinctive paintings have been exhibited in galleries worldwide, and HarperCollins UK and Penguin USA publish his award-winning picture books, now translated into over 30 languages.
In 2007, Jeffers was the official illustrator for World Book Day, and in 2008 Lost and Found became Oliver's first book to made into animation by London-based Studio AKA.

Really simple board book featuring the many colors of our world. I prefer to have something more than just the color word and a handful of illustrations. Like at least a poem or rhyme to connect each color.
Super cute, but again, inconsistent. On the pages of things that are white, the bunny is blue. From an artistic perspective, white can be shown refelecting any number of colors based on what’s around it. But when reading to toddlers, it has to be more literal, imho. When you see the black and white pages, those animals are rendered more consistently.
Another book in this lovely series by Oliver Jeffers. Beautiful illustrations. Great for help little one learn colours or reinforce learning. I read this book with my little one and he either names the colours or points out one of the illustrations on the page.
At first glance this book might seem skip worthy because there’s only one word per page. However, it gives the reader freedom to make up and name things on the page to develop baby’s early literacy skills! :)
Simple book - each page has the name of a color written, and then some pictures (illustrations) of things that are that color. The colors, and number of them, chosen was more of a head scratcher. (Brown, and separately, beige?)
A simple picture book that highlights a different colour on each page. Each page includes many examples of items and animals that exist in that colour. A fun book with great illustrations.
The illustrations feel sparse, but, hey, they may catch the attention of some kids. The book includes pink, black & white, brown, beige, grey, and white in addition to the standard ROYGBIV.
