About the author

kgcummings (April 11, 1949 - ) born Kathy Ann Cummings in Oswego, New York to parents Raymond E. and Gertrude Kathryn DeSantis Cummings.
Her first novel, The Wind Whispers War, was self published in 2006. It was soon followed by several more novels to continue the historical romance series based in the Vietnam era. For nearly 20 years Kathy worked for a contractor to the United States Air Force as a civilian equivalent to an AF X2 computer operator in the Standard Base Supply System. This experience gave her the opportunity to become acquainted with many Veterans who inspired her novel series.
Kathy currently resides in Florida, surrounded by friends and family. She enjoys sunshine and blue sky, playing with her grand nephew, and newborn grand daughter Bella Donna.

Waiting on this Book Four, was really hard. She will never give any clues as to what is going to happen to a character, she is very quiet when she is writing on a book. You know not to disturb her with frivolous questions that you know she will not answer. Kathy takes her
writing very seriously. That is obvious when you read her books also.
This last book, she kept me hanging in suspense again. She loves doing
that I believe! It didn't take me but four or five days to read it. It was terrific and had more characters coming onto the scene. These would make a great mini-series for TV. Since I'm finished with book four and asking for book five, I may have to start all over again. If you haven't bought her books, you don't know what you are missing!!

Fabulous Drama and Suspense! ******

“What Went Wrong” by Kgcummings is the 4th book in a Historical Romance Series. She has continued with the dramatic suspense, great emotion and story quality. She uses a lot of imagery and illustrates scenes in great detail when she writes. She is a dynamic novelist that writes with the essence of heart and soul. I have read all four of the books written so far and each one was a delight to read! I highly recommend to any adult that likes to read suspenseful historical romance. Once again, I'm commenting on the stories that several Nam Vets shared with me that are woven into the fabric of the fictional characters in this series. They went overseas as boys, and often came back men much older than their years. I don't like war, but as long as there are two people left on the face of the earth, I believe there will always be a conflict. The stars are for them. Thank you and Welcome Home. Kathy
