My actual review: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I seriously feel like this literally sums up whatever the fuck I'm feeling because what the fuck am I actually feeling??

I've been waiting for this sequel for three mother fuckign months and then read it after a month it was released because of some bitch I ignored back in 2nd grade named SLUMP.

Anyways, I should have never fucking read this because now I want to electrocute myself to death because I feel like that will be a better way to go than dying of the wait for the fucking NEXT book to release!!! Which is I don't even know when it will release!!!

Speaking of release dates it is the fuckign worst idea to start this series knowing the last book is yet to be released because the endings of every single one of these books are 69 ton anvils falling on your fucking heart and then destroying it in the worst way possible. Like, RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS FUCKING SERIES. IT'S A DEATH TRAP.

I literally feel so hollow inside after finishing this book, breathes...I want to die fuck.

Every single page and all the fucking characters literally drip from emotion and every line of this book hits you right in the feels. Like I can't even count how many times Elder Prest and Tasmin Blythe made me want to sob my heart out. I've literally never wanted to hug a fictional character as much as I want to hug Elder fucking Prest. He is a pure child and I will legit kiss the ground he walks on. he's been through so much pain, his mother blames him for his brothers death who he witnessed dying and now some fucking terrorist group is after his family, he has OCD and he literally can't trust himself to be around Pim in case he hurts her which hurts him BC he wants to touch her so bad and the deep shit he says OH MY GOD FEELS, FUCKKKKKKKK.

Tasmin Blythe can be my fucking wife, like fuck I love her. She goes through such amazing character development and she's always been so mentally strong, like, I feel like a potato compared to her. She's fucking Queen.

The romance. The. Romance. Fuck. Guys. Read this because the romance is real. Okay it's fucking emotional and real and it's fucking pain. It's such a well developed romance and *sharply inhales* fuck.

And the ending never happened okay??? Thank you and goodbye.

Also........I want to tattoo this entire book on my face and cry when i read the soul crushing quotes in the mirror, like goodbYE, I love pain.

Thousands is the riveting fourth book in the Dollar Series. Pimlico and Elder Prest's epic love saga continues as their adversaries rise all around them. This series must be read in order. As each moment of their journey unfolds, one thing remains abundantly clear Pim, and Elder can only be whole when they are together.

Thousands picks up directly after Hundreds. Pim, hoping that she is doing the right thing, has run from Elder. Fearing that he will continue to reject her love, she ventures out into the streets frightened and alone. Pim's actions cause Elder to recognize the truth that he has known all along, Pim is his, and he cannot live without her. As Elder and Pim reunite, the question both Pim and Elder face is how? How can they possibly overcome the demons of their past and find a way to exist together. The stakes are high for them both because living apart is simply not an option.

"I'm already home. I'm with you."

Told in dual POV, Thousands offers complex characters, action, and an intricate plot that continues to intensify as each installment of the series is brought to life. In this read, we gain a better understanding of Elder's past and his constant internal struggle to atone for his sins. When Pim entered his life he had hoped to save her and yet, through the journey, Elder has discovered that it is Pim who is saving him. The intimate connection between these two is full of raw passion and tenderness. As Pim has discovered her voice, she has found healing and discovered her love for Elder is never going to go away. She is driven to draw him close and protect him. Pim and Elder live in a constant pendulum of push and pull, and yet, they only find peace in each other's arms. Some unexpected characters from other Winters' creations make an appearance in Pim, and Elder's life and the actions of those around them trigger an unbelievable sequence of events that broke my heart. I am absolutely desperate for the final book to hit my Kindle. Pim and Elder are both unforgettable characters, and together they have created a world that I want to live in forever!



Overall, I highly recommend this series to any and all contemporary romance fans. With action, passion, romance, and intrigue, Thousands kept me on the edge of my seat the entire read. Now that Pim and Elder have finally acknowledged their need to be together, I have high hopes that they will find their HEA!

This story, though...



You know those lengthy books that you peruse but quickly cruise through on the grounds that the characters are overwhelming, the storyline is so brilliantly occupied, and you're deliciously immersed in pure fiction? Where you don’t regret reading a single word or spending a few coins to hang out with your favorite characters?



Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience with this novel and I’m sort of ashamed to admit that. I LOVED Pennies, Dollars, and Hundreds, but now I understand why some readers get frustrated with writers for milking a story/ series to death. This book remained character-driven and coated with PW’s intense flowery prose, but Pim and Elder’s inner monologues quickly turned into repetitive inner ramblings that were more dull than progressive. Of course, both characters were complex and damaged, but the lengthy emotional waltz they danced with each other and around each other! became so boring for me! It all felt ridiculously drawn-out and without any real purpose other than to build a boatload of unnecessary tension which was already seamlessly delivered in the novel before this one! in order to lead up to yet another cliffhanger! Yes, both characters showed tremendous personal growth since book one, but very little actually happened in this story beyond the usual emotional push-and-pull! And all of that was exhausting after the 50% mark!



Die-hard fans of this series will love this installment, but I could’ve skipped this story altogether and moved on to Millions without missing much.

⚓ This story was not dark, contained only a tiny streak of action, and once again, had an explosive ending. Sadly, this storyline (for me) stretched thinly to the point where I felt like telling the main characters:



Despite not enjoying this book as much as the others, I’d love to read the conclusion to Elder and Pim’s story. Both characters deserve some closure and so much more.

We continue the journey of Pim and Elder in Thousands.  This book picks up right where the last book left off.  Elder lost total control of himself in the last book and he gave in to his darkness.  He freaked out and now he is trying to stay as far away from Pim as possible.  With his fears he thinks that distance will save Pim from the beast he has inside.  I actually need his beast to come out and play a little more (just saying haha).

Pim finds herself in a whole lot of trouble after she leaves Elder.  She also thought that distance will help him; she had made up her mind that she will do anything to make him feel better after everything he has done for her.  However; she finds herself with nowhere to go; running from the dangers of the streets.  Little did she know that one little mistake would bring her freedom and answers she was looking for.

I don't want to give out a lof of details because I don't want to spoil this book.  However; I found myself devouring it from page one and when two special characters made appearing in this book I about lost it of joy .  I honestly believe this book is by far my favorite from the series.  We get to see Elder and Pim's relationship grow to a new lever of intimacy and trust.  Even with Pim's torture past she is now managing to heal and learning how to deal.  And with each passing day she falls more in love with Elder.  She finds herself learning how to read him and his turmoil mind and realized that she can help him.  Elder guards himself from his feelings but no matter what he does; he just couldn't stay away from Pim and ended up doing what he didn't think was possible.

“But now I was awake and ready to feel everything. And those scraps and stars weren’t enough anymore. I wanted planets. I wanted galaxies. I wanted his heart.”

Thousands is a dark erotica about two people fighting to be free of their past.  Two people struggling with their own darkness and trying to find true love in the midst of it all.  Readers of dark suspense will find this series addicting and this book impossible to put down.  The plot was so addicting with dark elements and with a great surprise from author added to the end of the story.  I was absolutely in shock when I saw the twist; it left me breathless, speechless and screaming of joy because oh boy the final book is going to be explosive.  So excited to see how this will end.

Thousands opens without interruption in the continuing timeline of Elder Prest and Pimlico. After losing control, Elder believes it’s safest for Pim to remain at a distance but when Pim makes the decision to do so, the situation forces Elder to acknowledge what he’s known. At this point, the plot line shifts to a more introspective examination into what drives Elder’s behavior and need for a certain structure. While revenge and protecting his family has been a priority for Elder, there is much more behind his reasons of feeling guilt and being indebted.

“She trusted me to keep her safe. This was me honouring that trust even while she begged me to break it.”

Despite her past, Pim’s fortitude is ever present and now that her mind and body continue to heal, she is no longer content in settling for the inconsistences of Elder's words and actions. As she pushes for more on a physical and emotional level, Elder reacts by distancing himself but seeing Pim’s courage and ability to trust is the impetus to give more of himself.

“But now I was awake and ready to feel everything. And those scraps and stars weren’t enough anymore. I wanted planets. I wanted galaxies. I wanted his heart.”

Upon returning to her home country, Pim must face a longstanding conflict and when she does, another layer of healing seems to elevate Pim to a healthier place. Feeling fortified to a degree, Pim is willing to do whatever it takes to prove her love for Elder. In this moment, Elder is pushed to his limits as Pim wants all of Elder and she isn’t about to relinquish her desire for the sake of playing it safe.

“Standing over her, cock hard, heart fast, mind a mess, I growled. “I’ll fuck you. I’ll fuck you until you can’t stand to be fucked anymore. And then I’ll fuck you again. And again.”

What transpires in Thousands is an interesting push-pull between Elder and Pim. For one, the sexual tension is palpable, as both characters want each other so badly that it drips from the pages. Secondly, there are layers of long-standing emotions that reveal much more about Elder and Pim individually and as a couple. As Pim’s healing continues on multiple levels, Pim proves that she is a worthy partner to Elder, and at times, takes the lead while embracing her fears. Elder’s conflicts remain difficult to assess but when Pim pierces through his final layer of armor, he unleashes a physical and emotional side that incredibly rewarding and panty melting.

Told in dual POV, getting in the mind of Elder and Pim is vital to understanding their motivations. There are times when Elder’s resistance is infuriating yet knowing his rationale adds to his appeal and reinforces his need to protect. While both characters made progressive strides, Pim embraced her new role with tenacity to show just how much of a survivor she actually is. Not knowing when Elder’s past will be put to rest, he and Pim are prepared to fight for what they have despite the consequence.


In this series, Pepper Winters successfully creates a vivid world with a complex plot and multi-dimensional characters. With themes of redemption, healing, trust and love, Thousands offers a story where vulnerabilities become strengths. I highly recommend Thousands, and with one book remaining in the series, I look forward to reading just how it all ends!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Elder is back and this time he has to deal with a much stronger Pimlico. The awful cliffhanger will finally be overcome and Thousands is here to take us on another turbulent journey!
In this book, we finally get a deeper insight into Elder's character. Who he was, how he became the wealthy, cunning man we know and love and how far he can go for Pim.

Her freedom was priceless.
Her secrets were invaluable.
Every part of her treasured and coveted.

Pim is such a kickass heroine. She has developed into an amazing heroine. Gone is the silent mouse and in her place there's a fierce lioness that will protect Elder at any cost! Her transformation made the book for me!

The book has everything that we have come to expect from Mrs. Winters. Revelations that will make you gasp, emotions that will make you swoon, intensity that sizzles throughout the book and a guest appearence that fans of the author's books will absolutely adore!!! Yes, a certain Hawk makes an appearence and dear God, I reacted like a little fangirl!!!
There is also another guest appearence from a character I absolutely adore, but I am keeping this one a surprise!!! Eeek!!!
Excellent writing is to be expected from this author, but this time she took the book to a whole other level. Best book in the series so far!
She put pieces of a jagged puzzle together, she answered questions that were raized and we will certainly be rooting for these two characters till the end! I cannot wait for the next book!!!! And that ending!!!

As I immersed myself with this book, the first few chapters really kept me on the edge of my seat, as Pim explore the streets of Monte Carlo on her own. I'm scared for her and at the same time, I'm rooting for her to finally stand on her own. But with no money and no help in sight, she did what Elder thought her. Sadly, it wasn’t successful one!

Meanwhile, on board the Phantom, Elder trying to convince himself that he made the right decision to left Pim behind, that's what she wanted anyway. But he felt empty without Pim by his side, he misses her, period. That’s when he decides to look for Pim and get her back.



After that unfortunate event, Pim found herself in custody of the police, here she meets good people who listen to her story and learned something she can never have. This scene just made me cry for Pim.

“It was as if a dream I’d never dreamt turned out to be a reality I wanted more than anything.”

When Elder found Pim they immediately returned to Phantom. I like the part wherein Pim told Elder what she's feeling and what she's willing to sacrifice just to be with him. And her theory on how to find a solution to Elder’s mannerism and her proposed hypothesis proved to be an efficient one. Way to go, Pim!



I thought I read the best part of this series already but I was wrong, Thousands pleased me more and I dare say it’s my favorite so far. It answered the question that arises from the previous book and so much more. Pepper Winters continue to show her magic in written words, which will keep you enthralled as you turn each page. And that ending with crossover characters from her other books is just unbelievably amazing! Now I’m really excited to read Millions the final book! I greatly recommend this series!

Well, I was surprised what Elder didn't do at the beginning of this book and I was not happy about Pim. (Can you read with your fingers in front of your eyes?) Thank Goodness, Elder got his sh*t together!

Obviously, some crazy drama but some good came out of it. I think Pim got some needed strength and some things checked out.

I want to say that things move in the forward direction but as always, two steps forward and five steps back. However, there is progress which I was happy about.



We also get a bit of Jethro and Nila from the Indebted series. I haven't read it yet but they seem interesting and have similar circumstances.

I know I sound like a broken record but it's easy to see where things are going. I loved that Pim's theory was correct but unfortunately we didn't have much time to enjoy that. (I am hoping that something else comes out of that "connection" even if she was told it couldn't.)

And that ending was a bit cray-cray! I'm sooo happy I didn't have to wait for the next book!

Also I must note that Pepper Winters included characters from her other novels in this story. I dont know how I feel about that. This series was my first one by her and I dont want her to spoil the other characters stories!!

We pick up, right where we left off at the end in Hundreds. Pim has left Elder. She feels she had to leave, that she caused Elder too much pain and turmoil. The reality of her situation comes crashing down upon her, in her attempts to provide for herself. Meanwhile, Elder is in his own hell. Tormented by thoughts of Pim, he struggles with letting her go. He believes she is better off without him, regardless of the emotional pain he feels and the sudden realization of how deeply he cares for her. Eventually his need and desire for her compels him to return to Monte Carlo and find his little mouse.

"I squeezed her in protection, affection, and most of all, aggression for what she’d done to me. The agony she’d injected into my heart. The poison she’d infected my brain with. The knowledge I now carried that she was selfless in trying to shield me from myself, and I was selfish in letting her try. Never again. She’s mine. It’d taken a separation to understand that, but now I did. Good luck to the rest of the world and anyone else who wanted her because they couldn’t fucking have her."

Pim and Elder struggle with their feelings and desires for one another. After their seperation, the thought that they could ever exsist without the other is no longer a possibility.
This book gave me all the feels. My heart broke often and swelled with joy for both Pim and Elder, over and over thru-out this entire story. I wanted to reach out and hug and soothe them both. They both struggle with their feelings for one another but know that being separated is just not something either one can tolerate.
Pim continues to grow and heal, moving forward while trying to bring her two selves, Tasmin and Pim, together. I continue to be amazed by her strength and perseverance. I won't say anymore about this story. While I feel i have given too much away, i have barely scratched the surface of this story. This was such an emotional rollercoaster! I hated when my life wouldn't let me keep reading, because I Had To Know What was going to happen next! a
Pepper has written yet another engrossing and spellbinding book. I keep thinking that the previous book was my favorite, but then the next comes out and it all changes! This was my absolute favorite in the series, so far. I was screaming NOOOOOO!! at my kindle by the end. To say I was shocked is an understatement! I don't know how I will make it until Millions is released! While it is listed as a December release, Pepper has posted on her website that she expects it to be ready before then. I will anxiously be waiting until then.

Pepper Winters didn't just ruined me, she deliberately obliterated my heart and my soul. No words ain't enough to describe what I feel, to know the extent of the soul-wrenching agony I felt.



I am nothing but a mess of emotions and of thoughts. My mind is like of Elder, chaotic and all-consuming, with so many things running through my head and I don't know which thought to follow, or what emotion to feel, and I am but feeling drained and exhausted as I feel like I am being pulled at different directions all at once.



These are my initial thoughts and feeling after I finished Thousands and the most pressing of all is that I need the last book now! I may have to sort my feelings and thoughts once I have time, but it may never change, probably. All I am and all I need is that I needed to know what next and the conclusion to the story!





I know! I may never recover from this! What am I supposed to do now?

5 This isn’t Romeo and Juliet Stars

This book is by far the most intense, story building, character developing story I have run into in a long time. I was given an arc of book 3 and now book 4 and it is a complete honor. Pepper Winters took a chance on me twice to tell me her story of Pim and Elder because she knew I would fall in love with them. It shows Elder coming to grips with who he is with Pim by his side helping him see that she isn’t the one who needs saving anymore.


My heart broke for Pim and how she learned to stand up tall and not allow anyone to put her back down again. This book shows an intense healing process for Pim and Elder as they realize they desperately want to be healed, to be loved, to love, and to be with eachother. This story starts connecting loose ends and yet you get to the end of the blanket to see there are still frayed parts .. luckily the next book releases in a few months.



This story (albeit probably wont happen) is so relatable because the romance, the love, the pain, the growth and the development of the characters is so real and raw and ugly and perfect.

Some quotes I loved:


I wanted to fucking bow to her. To take her hand in mine and kiss her knuckles with reverence. To pledge my loyalty, fealty, fortune and heart.



Sex was a noun, but here, now, it was a verb, an adjective, a living, breathing entity that filled me up and made me burst

The ending …will wreck your entire world and have you crashing in the world of Pepper Winters… and her ability to both give you a happy ending to then dramatically take it away.

This book has characters from other previously released Pepper Winters books … it adds a level of interest to the story and it is recommended you read everything to include Pepper Winters Grocery List prior to reading to get the full picture in her story.

Pim is embracing the world around her, her mind is slowly untangled from the web it was captured in and with it comes her voice. Pim knows she loves Elder, but her love is dangerous for him and she knows she keeps him from focusing. She makes a choice, to protect them both, to find herself and release him of his redemption duties. Only, their choices don't guarantee their safety whether they are together or apart and some sin must be embraced to survive the storm.

"She was the one making me hurt. But she could also be the one to make me better."

Thousands is the most character driven novel in the Dollar series, each character boasts a list of complexities that makes the dual POV all the more interesting. Their chemistry is a blazing fire, but the inferno only fuels the push and pull between them. Their connection, the world they live in, is built upon lies and apologies, trust and healing, and love in the midst of terror. I love that Pepper Winters gave so much thought to consequences and that the characters repeatedly thought through their actions and dealt with the consequences so magnificently. For every turn in the novel, something came of it, and it pushed it all forward, giving readers what we had hoped for from the very beginning. Pim really comes into her own and Elder's masque breaks down, revealing his realities and making both Pim and the reader fall even harder. Only, the stakes are higher in Thousands, and with each reassurance that everything will be okay Pepper Winters weaves a story that can only end in dangerous temptation and war.

"My promise was my life. And I'd just given it to Elder, wrapped in a bow, gifted in a box, willingly donated with my heart."

"You say it's a pleasure, yet you look at me like it's a curse."

Now that ending, that was the most perfect twist. I can hate it, I can wish for a different ending, but Pepper Winters has upped the game, the drama previously was just a rolling crescendo and this is its peak. It makes me want Millions that much more, it makes me desperate to know Pim and Elder's fates, to know that their fight for one another has not all been for naught. I knew something was coming, from the very beginning, but I could have never predicted this.

The Dollar series by Pepper Winters is one of those dark, contemporary romances that you have to read to understand. From the depths of hell to the sparkling world of redemption, every facet of emotion is studied, every nuance of the character's personalities and body languages is broken down, and every link that drives and divides relationship is a subject of discussion. The world Pepper Winters has created is magical and complex, so easily pictured with her descriptive writing, and the character driven story line feels so real that I can't believe it isn't taking place right now.

Phew! Book 4. I am not actually a big fan of this series. I do not like the dragging and super slow writing style. Like describing how the sun shines on Elder, takes a 1 paragraph. *rolling my eyes*. Just kill me please!

But somehow this series draw me in. Especially that date on the submarine. OMG! Even I am very annoyed with Elder indecisiveness toward Pim. I am happy to see Pim is now a kick ass heroine. She do anything for Elder. And that makes Elder groans more. I understand Elder struggle with his inner demon about control. But man! make up your mind.

Thousands brings Pim and Elder to finally realize love wins. I love the moment Pim and her mother finally met. Her mother words of wisdom is very touching. And finally set Pim free and fearless.

and Q, I use to love you and now I kinda hate you!!! What did you do?? He needs to be okay!! He BETTER be okay!!

So, now that I got that out of the way I will say that I absolutely love this series and this book may be the best one yet.


I am so in love with Elder and Pim and if you haven't met them, you need to! They will steal your heart.

What the actual FUCK! That has got to be the most frustrating cliffhanger I have ever seen in my entire existence! What the actual fuck was she thinking! Another fucking rollercoaster of emotions (I love you for that by the way, lol) and you end it like that! Are you trying to kill me! Please just hurry and finish Millions. PLEASE!
