Brianne Ligori lives and leads from the heart. She believes that everybody can—and should—live a life of purpose and joy. In her writing and coaching, Brianne is laser-focused on a worldview of infinite possibilities and a relentless pursuit of purpose. She sets an inspiring example by standing firmly for living according to her inner truth. Choosing joy, Brianne bravely set aside her dazzling corporate career to follow her bliss—sharing purpose-driven choices with the world.

Brianne worked in the corporate world for many years, where she raised the bar in varying roles in sales, marketing, and training. Her desire to help people grow and learn led her to a professional coaching certification through the International Coach Federation and certified training and development designation.

Through coaching and training, Brianne has left an indelible mark on people by igniting their sense of purpose, but her more significant legacy is to build new coaches. She put her designations to work in her corporate world by creating an internal coach certification program, thereby empowering other leaders to leave their mark. TGIToday is a fantastic workbook. I came away feeling uplifted, inspired, energized, and with the tools I need to live a more purposeful, joyous life. Brianne’s style is succinct and clear, with actionable steps that guide the reader to “look inside for answers” and create a life we “are excited to live.”

The author proposes a simple formula for living a more joy-filled life: purpose + people + pace, built on a foundation of our power of choice, and then defines and gives examples of each element before offering exercises and activities for readers to work through. The exercises encourage self-awareness and personal accountability, and work so well because they are both accessible and tap into our whole bodies, inviting us to take a multi-lens, sensory approach to finding and standing in our own truth. Brianne never pushes the reader into making “drastic changes but [encourages us] to explore possibilities” and then, if appropriate, make “small shifts aligned with who you are.” This compassionate, gentle approach is highly effective and will lead to concrete results for readers who want to start living their TGIToday life… today!

The book is also beautifully illustrated and formatted, and a real joy to read and work through. I highly recommend TGIToday and will be gifting it to friends and colleagues as well as keeping a copy close to my own desk.
