When married, over the duration, it's bound to transpire that the initial romance is no longer active & living with that individual becomes more of a routine. Messily Married is a typical romance novel. Partners fall in love, romance is in the air & at its zenith in the initial few years. A lack of a kid gradually breaks their joy; the disparity in job designations starts ego conflicts; near-death disease causes them to acknowledge their love & then it's all right.
The vocabulary used is pretty discernible; nevertheless, the grammatical mistakes hindered my reading process & drove me to lose interest in pushing forward. Though the writer attempts to concentrate on the problems in the protagonist's married life, the points that he ranted around were repetitious & a couple of chapters focused solely on them appeared excessive. Up to 50% of the book, the details were all regarding wedding & desiring a kid; once the troubles began between the duo, the child's presence seemed to be just in thinking & passing exchanges. So I suppose when the author wanted to speak about a case, the only focus was that case; else, it was ignored.
Overall, an enjoyable plot with an affirmative ending.

In the initial period of any blooming relationship everything seems perfect and rosy . Its only after the bond enters into the official stage of marriage things starts changing. After reaching a threshold level ,differences start to emerge and it becomes imperative to sort them out so as to live a happy and fulfilling life.
The book portrays this particular aspect through the story of Shreya and Abhinav. Everything was perfect in their lives before they tied the knots but post that it changes drastically. The story moves back and forth with the glimpses of how they use to gel up earlier and how are they drifting apart at present. How the priorities are changing thick and fast and the communication gap between the two is quite evident.
The story seems simple and straightforward at first but only after comprehending the way author has put it forward the readers realize the underlying complications. The cover is attractive and characterization is done well too. The tale is quite insightful especially the emotional aspect and feels realistic. It teaches us a very important lesson that even if you meet the one made for you it won't be a seamless ride and you got to hang in there to make things work.

Messily Married by Abhishek Bhattacharya is such a beautiful and genuine story! The story itself looks simple, but underneath it, this book brings such amazing points about relationships and life in general. This is such a wonderful story about Shreya and Abhinav, a couple that loved eachother and married. Over the years of marriage, as a couple they grow up, their priorities, feelings and likes change. Eventually, differences of opinion start cropping up between them, making their relationship messy.
Shreya and Abhinav started off their romance in the most unconventional way but when their story unfolds you realize they were always meant to be. These two epitomize the definition of true soul mates. The story goes back and forth between past and present. We get to witness their love blossom and grow through the alternating chapters that take us to their past and then we feel the utter despair that consumes them both in the present due to their struggles with marriage. The couple who once couldn’t go a day without eachother have now gone without intimacy for months. They are just a shell of the people they used to be because they feel broken for being unable keep each other happy. Communication is stifled between them, and they become so withdrawn they begin despising the other for their own shortcomings.
Told in alternating timelines, we see how Shreya and Abhinav meet, fall in love and ultimately find their marriage falling apart. What happens when love is no longer enough? Messily Married tells the story of two soul mates who met, fall in love and built a future together. A future which led to marriage and starting a family. Shreya and Abhinav appear on the outside to be a happily married couple and they were for some time, but issues began to wear on them and their relationship began to change. They still loved each other but things were strained between them.
This book seems so incredibly simple, yet so profoundly important. It's a story of a husband and wife who have reached a crossroads in their marriage and trying to make their marriage whole again. Shreya and Abhinav were great to read about. I loved their antics, but more than that I loved the complexity of their relationships. They love so much about each other and yet don't actually like who the other is, or rather, who the other has become over time. They are trying to figure themselves, and each other, out and that was the best part of the book. I loved seeing their journey to being people who they themselves love.
Abhishek Bhattacharya takes on a troubled marriage here in a heart-wrenching but insightful story. The story will keep you captivated and emotionally invested in what was going to happen to these characters and their marriage. Author has created likable characters dealing with real life issues which are relatable and heart breaking sometimes. This book and all these characters have a lot of different ideas about what a marriage is and what it means to be a husband or wife. Marriage is a huge commitment and it's all about compromise and even if you do meet "the one" you still might not be able to make it work.
Messily Married is a heavier story, more drama than fun. It offers a great lesson in hanging on to what's important in life and not letting the problems, however large, ruin what's good in your life. Really in the end it's all heart-warming, but this romance ship has a lot of stormy seas to sail through. Highly recommended.

Being with another person for an entire lifetime is certainly not a matter of joke and it is completely normal for the couple to get the feeling of stagnation after a certain period of time.
Almost all the romantic stories end with the two protagonists of the novel coming together or reuniting and getting their Happily Ever After.
However, ‘Messily Married’ by Author Abhishek is a book that focuses on what happens to the characters once the haze of the initial romance starts to dim and they begin to be content in settling in a mundane living.
Change is constant and there is hardly any one amongst us who will remain the exact same through out. Suffice to say, we all change every second of every day.
And that is exactly what happens with the protagonists of our story, Abhinav and Shreya whose happy marriage scenario changes many times over the course of the book.
With the tectonic shifts between gender equations, societal and lifestyle changes, as well as welcoming a new member in their family of two, it becomes a race amongst themselves to meet and be subject to the subsequent individualistic demands and expectations.
It is quite evident that a majority of marital disagreements between the couple are not because of difference of opinions or compatibility with their partner, but because of their parenting techniques.
And when the same problems arise between our couple, it remains to be seen whether they will survive or will it be powerful enough to break them.
This was a well written book, and the last part had me quite on the edge of my seat, however I was glad to see the ending, hence I am going to give this book FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Through this book named Messily Married, written by Abhishek @B, readers will certainly find a lot to relate with.
The storylines talks about a couple named Shreya and Abhinav, they have been in love since a long time now, and get married. A whole new phase starts off, with very much good feelings and a lot to do.
But with time, ofcourse things change. The charm, the love between people fade away. They don't stay as lovable as they once were. Things start to seem like mess. Their opinions contradict, their action doesn't mean what they speak. A lot gets changed and messed up. And this isn't just about them.
It happened with everyone.
In every marriage, between every couple.
Everyone is in love in the beginning, but with time life challenges takes up the toll, children comes to life, responsibilities increase, a lot happens.
I enjoyed this read. A well written book. I loved the ending. The message conveyed is quite clear. I liked the idea of author for writing this book. It's something new, very fresh and new to the eye.

But here author takes a brave move to put forward those unspoken words in front of the world with some insane majestic writing skills. The book is really an eye opener.

When Abhinav and Shreya got married, they were very clear that they would devote the first 4 years of their marriage to themselves and their respective careers before thinking about a family.
They had a dream run for the first few years of their marriage with each of the items in the bucket list being ticked off and flaunting a growing career Graph.
However, trouble started brewing when responsibility kicked in and they found themselves becoming parents. Romance became a dying art and conflict of opinion became a norm.
This book sheds light on the journey of marriage of Abhinav and Shreya which can reflect the story of any random couple in the society.
✒VERDICT
🥇Pros:
1) It was very refreshing to read on a realistic topic which we are all aware of but do not understand the depth of damage till the water has flown under the bridge. Kudos to the author for going a step ahead of the the romantic honeymoon period and actually give a nuanced outlook of a married couple.
2) I loved the quality of narration built by the author. The story started with a tense situation which transitioned into a throwback and the present scenario. This made the plot very gripping and an interesting read.
3) The journey and the emotional changes that Abhinav and Shreya underwent were portrayed beautifully which gave an insight on the behind the scenes of a seemingly happily ever after relationship.

No minus points as such.

The life of Shreya and Abhinav who start their marriage in the most weirdest of ways but as days go by they come to love and care for one another. But life gas been hard on their love and they grow apart, the couple who couldn't go without the other for the day just don't care anymore. The author has gone from the past to the present and on a pendulum effect shows how life has been cruel to their love and how their marriage is messy and loveless right now!
The author has capture so many trials people face as a married couple and how it's up to us to let it make our bonds stronger or tear us apart!! The author has dabbled over minor topics in this book their marriage being the main topic.
What I loved is that they both have gone through a lot yet don't let time break them apart and are grasping at threads to keep it intact! The beautiful essence of how the author has portrayed pain is really fulfilling!
The characters were well written, the plot was consistent, the language was lucid and the book was original and unique. Overall a book every romance lover out there should read because the author has beautifully shown how life is not a bed of roses but that there are thorns too and that it's up to us to go through and come out unscathed. Very realistic portrayal of married life and the knit and grit of love is written so well to make this book a work of art.

Every individual in an relationship make sure to be honest with feelings and try to create a healthy environment around themselves so that things go smoothly. A person in a relationship can be half hearted about commitment. But what about marriage? Does Everything seems that smooth in a marriage? Or things changes drastically to some extent that we quetion our togetherness?.
The story is about Abhinav and Shreya. They both were in relationship before tying the knots and promising the togetherness of eternity in the form of their marriage. But as time passed, things became messy. Many things changed and we're way different than before. Priorities were different, thinking was different even the way they treat each other changed in the course of time. I guess that's what this book is about.

This story follows the journey of Shreya and Abhinav from being couples to getting married to each other. But marriage is a different ballgame altogether and they start to discover the ugly truths about love only after tying the knot and starting a new family. Read this book to witness whether at the end, they are able to put aside their differences and unite or whether they call it off and walk away from what was once a promising relationship between them. The author has penned the story in a very exceptional way, putting it from both the perspectives, reflecting the difference in the thought process, and their perception. It's about change and challenges and facing things that are outside current boundaries. I loved the progression of their relationship, the ups and downs as well. The flow of the story is stable and doesn't rush through, Other than that, the story is very warm in nature and goes beyond the realms of romance. The author has painted the characters, their realities and complexities in a messy marriage.

The book shows how a couple before marriage and after marriage goes through a drastic change. Sometimes people you thought you would live happily with, creates a lots of mess in your life and unknowingly you're also the reason for mess in their life too. Nothing is intentional but it comes with lots of hardships. Love is not enough to live with each other.

The tale of Abhi and Shreya who hold this delicate thread till the end .But I appreciate the covid part as it has taken smile of many, but author has thrown a positive face of this pandemic in this plot.

Firstly a big shout out to the author for writing such a beautiful book with impeccable storytelling and character building, writing a book surrounding the married life.
Its realistic, easy to relate and resonate with.
I am still processing the ending.
Shreya and Abhinav their relationship, their marriage, their life is filled with vibrant love but as time goes by, their marriage has it's ups and downs.Slowly difference of opinion starts cropping up between and the relationship starts getting messy.
I applaud the author for writing such real and raw characters who are equally haunting, captivating and liberating.
The characters are perfectly imperfect, we can relate to each of them and their perspective resonates deeply and passionately, I am surprised how many times I just stopped and reflected on the words.
4.5 stars

Your life changes at every new stage and you try to adapt and adjust to that change but sometimes this makes you really frustrated and upset .
The story revolves around Shreya and Abhinav they had been a very lovely relationship and everything was perfect for them . They decided to take their relationship one more step forward and got married but then gradually things started changing for the bad . Their feelings , emotions , love and happiness started decreasing and everything became messy .
They became parents and that also spoiled their relationship with each other .
There is a lot read in this book and you will see how life can change after marriage and it will not be the exact same as it was before .

"Messily married" is just as the title describes,so messy yet so hard to ignore. I believe being in love and being in love after marriage has its own challenges. A couple goes through a alot,from starting as a happy couple to a messy one,and the relationship survives only if you and your partner put that much needed effort in it.
I loved the oh so relatable plot and storyline of the book. I have seen couples and I mean it when I say,it felt so relatable. Sometimes you don't need a deep storyline with intense and stiring moral,you can choose a simple and yet relatable story and still the reader will enjoy it.
The character development is okayish but the narrative is gripping. The perspective after marriage,it has been presented so well.

"Messily married" is just as the title describes,so messy yet so hard to ignore. I believe being in love and being in love after marriage has its own challenges. A couple goes through a alot,from starting as a happy couple to a messy one,and the relationship survives only if you and your partner put that much needed effort in it.
I loved the oh so relatable plot and storyline of the book. I have seen couples and I mean it when I say,it felt so relatable. Sometimes you don't need a deep storyline with intense and stiring moral,you can choose a simple and yet relatable story and still the reader will enjoy it.
The character development is okayish but the narrative is gripping. The perspective after marriage,it has been presented so well.
Make sure to check this out if you love reading contemporary novels.

Review: The Book" Messily Married" written by author Abhishek@B is a fictional story of two people Shreya and Abhinav who were once in love and Later got married.
The story showcases their journey which was beautiful at earlier phase and Became bitter day By day With growing Hurdles.
I felt quite the story to be quite Realistic.
The book has been divided into 15 Chapters.
Each chapter is interesting and draws reader's attention towards it.
The language of the book is kept simple so it becomes very easy for the reader to understand the story. The book is not so long so I read The whole in just one go.
Writing style is amazing.

Messily Married is the story of Shreya and Abhinav. Their love turns into marriage and soon life takes a sharp turn and things change. Read to find out what changes the equation between the couple.
Abhishek @B has beautifully depicted the love between a couple. He has also perfectly captured what couples go through when they enter parenthood. Basically, the complete arc of a couple from love to marriage and the 'happily ever after' is something that kept me glued throughout. It is a well written romantic fiction which can be anybody and everybody's story. The characters have been kept relatable and authentic and so have the circumstances. The story is precise and crisp and happens through a course of approximately 18 years. However, I felt the dialogues could have done with some finesse. Overall, a great leisurely read. Happy reading!

The book Messily married is really super awesome book that I have ever read. The book is based on true themes that literally are true examples after marriage. The book is based on the theme Marriage.
The book is about Abhi and shreya, how they are happily living after there marriage and how things change unfortunately. At starting we see all the positive side of marriage but as story moves ahead we see how life turns so hectic for both of them.
The book is smooth read with 166 pages, well last chapter is my favourite of all, Till death do us part. I really loved that chapter and I was much emotional at that time.
The story is very different and outstanding. The book is really super awesome.
Well I really enjoyed reading the book and I was much relaxed with the end part. The plotline is progressive and innovative.
The book is really a good pick.
