I thought I knew a lot about Dimebag Darrell until I read this book it tells every aspect of this legends life I learned how and why he played the guitar the way he did and the bond he shared with his brother who is a drummer. Dime wouldnt play without his brother,he was offered the position of lead guitar for the legendary band Megadeth but turned it down because Megadeth already had a drummer and dime would only play with his brother. this relates with my life because im a guitarist and my brother is an amazing drummer and neither me or him would play in a band without the other.

I’ve had this book for years but couldn’t bring myself to read it.
I had the pleasure of hanging out with Dime on more than one occasion and he was truly not just a great musician but made you feel like his best friend every time he saw you. He is so great missed.
The last page really got me taking about Vince and Hellyeah 😢
It’s a must read for even a casual Pantera or music fan in general.
His legacy lives on through his music.

This was a very informative book about Dimebag's life. It went into detail about how he got into music, made life more enjoyable while touring and working, made friends everywhere he went, and just enjoyed being a musician. It was both fun to read and sad. The photos were also a nice touch. May his music live on...
