Love has brought growth to the King family over the past few years, and it has helped to heal the wound that grief had inflicted on their lives. Though their father will always be missed, Hunter and Heather have tried to move forward in a way that brings honor to their dad’s memory.
Hayden King carries a burden that he feels is his alone, and the weight of it is crushing the life out of him. After his last surgery failed to achieve what he’d hoped it would, he rarely leaves his apartment, spending most his days immersed in movies and television.
Paige Cantor has returned to Minneapolis because her life has fallen apart, and she has nowhere else to go. Determined to take care of her disabled son as best she can, she agrees to take on the job of housekeeper to Hayden King, replacing her mom in the position. For several months, she’s watched the man struggle with the turn of events that have left him without the lower portion of his left leg.
When she has no option one day but to take her son to work with her, Paige hopes that Hayden will stay in his room as he does most days. Unfortunately, Hayden walks into the kitchen to find Rylan sitting in his wheelchair at the table.
Meeting Rylan opens Hayden’s eyes, and he finds himself drawn to the young boy and his mom. Though she has cooked and cleaned for Hayden for months, it is only as he interacts with Rylan that Paige begins to see a different side to the wounded man.
Both Paige and Hayden have experienced dashed hopes and discouragement, and neither of them are looking forward to the holidays. But a cheerful little boy helps them to remember the real reason for the season, opening their hearts to the possibility of love and hope for the future… if they’re willing to let go of the hurts and fears of the past.
An enjoyable conclusion to the series. The main characters in this book were discouraged over the circumstances in their lives. Things change one morning when Hayden's eyes are opened when he unexpectedly finds a young boy in his home. From that day on Hayden begins to heal and break down the walls he built after the devastating accident that took the life of his dad and damaged his own body and spirit. As in the first two books romance blooms along the way.
I typically do not write reviews, but I wanted to thank you for writing this series. When I saw your name as the author, I knew these books would not only be great but also God's message would be interwoven in the storylines.
As far as recommendations go, I would recommend these books to anyone who is struggling to get through the holidays after suffering from the loss of a loved one. In the last 6 months I have gone through the loss of my brother and then my dad. It's been hard, and I haven't wanted to read or even watch traditional Christmas stories. However, these books have spoken to my heart and soul! Thank you
I highly recommend this series, "We Three Kings," by: Kimberly Rae Jordan!!! These stories just touched my heart, made me cry, made me laugh, and just awed me throughout each story!! I've even thought about following some of The Kings' examples of really being there for people who may be in need this Christmas. I don't have a lot of wealth like the Kings, unfortunately, but maybe I have something to offer someone in need... I do highly recommend this series or any other books/ series that Kimberly Rae Jordan writes! Her stories are heartwarming, clean, Christian, stories of love, redemption, and hope! 🙏✌️❤️
This was an interesting and fun family to follow through three Christmas seasons. I enjoyed the clean Christian romance series. Its true the endings were predictable but the journeys to get there were all a little different and getting to know the continuing characters was fun. The contrasts between wealth and poverty are also a continued theme. They all included a little dose of Jesus as the reason for the celebration of Christmas, but weren't full of Scripture. I don't believe anyone should avoid them regardless of their faith background or lack of one for that matter.
I have enjoyed reading this book and story. I recommend reading this series. Hayden had been injured in a wreck with his dad. He lost a foot to the knee. Paige and her son Rylan was therefore there for Paige to clean his apartment. Hayden went to the kitchen table to eat. When he saw a wheelchair. Inside was a little boy. His name is Rylan. He had been born paralyzed since birth. Is she going to be fired for bringing her son to work? Hayden was a bitter man. You must read to see what happens.
I tried to get away with not reading the third book, but I couldn't avoid it
I chose this rating because the book has substance. The conflict was resolved, and the solution believable, showing what GOD can do in a seemingly hopeless situation. I liked Page's growing awareness towards Hayden and his growing feelings towards her. I would recommend this book for those who have been disabled in a situation such as Hayden's.
This story made me laugh and cry. It was wonderful to read of such a lovely family and those they reached out to in love, just as our loving Father in heaven reaches out to each of us in His love. Thank you Kimberly for a beautiful story of the heart. Jesus is still the reason for the season. I can’t wait to read more of your novels. I loved the whole series and I will be searching for more. Bless you.
To me, the mark of a good book is how far away I get from my daily routine because I can’t put it down. The characters are real and have complex issues, and their story is woven together and held tightly by the strands of love, faith, patience, and longsuffering as each member moves to embrace all of what Gods has for them. My only warning is not to start it when you have much to do!
Great third book in the series! Jordan has done a great job on this one in making Hayden's emotional and spiritual recovery believable. Be sure to read these books in order, since the characters span all three books, and you'll want to start at the beginning and go through to the end. I really enjoyed reading the series, and this was a satisfying third book.
This was the best and sweetest series I’ve read in along time. I think the 3rd book was my favorite. You know you an continue this series as you have others and let the mothers in both families find love again. You are are an incredible writer, always been one of my favorites, I love how you books drift one into the other!
This wonderful Christmas story about the third King triplet touched my heart so much!! As a widow and a partial amputee, there was so much in this story that resonated with me! You will love this story of hope and second chances!! I highly recommend this book!!
Another beautifully told story of mercy and grace & acceptance
Kimberly does a beautiful writing and weaving how God's love and gifts of grace & mercy when we look to Him and turn our lives over to Him, flow into love , mercy and grace for others. Love Hayden's story of how from the pit of despair God gently lifts us up and carries us to the fulfilment of His plans.
This book was a great conclusion to the “We Three Kings” series. I have really enjoyed each book, learning to know the characters and seeing how God worked differently in each book to bring the couples together. I also that while each book could stand alone, the characters continued to be involved in all the books.
A great story that Includes crutches & a wheelchair. She has a son in a wheelchair due to paralysis. The boy's father wasn't happy with his son & eventually left the family. She returned to her home city & received help from her mom. The guy is depressed & unhappy since an accident caused significant injuries & changes to his life. A great Christmas 🎄 series.
I didn’t rate each book deciding to finish all three. They were such kind and loving characters which made their stores so warm and loving. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and highly recommend it.
I truly enjoyed the characters as they celebrated each others victories and helped everyone they met. The love and blessings while prevailing over difficulties that ruin lives makes this a rare and enjoyable story.
Can a man who faced a horrible tragedy actually come out of it and rise above it? God can use anyone to help with that, even a little boy. Very well done!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed all three books in this series. They were very touching and hard to put down just like all the rest of Kimberly’s books. I can’t wait to get the next one so he writes.
The We Three Kings series gave me warm fuzzies and kept me smiling all the way through. HOWEVER! Child of Hope (BIG happy sigh) made my heart go pitty-pat! Who knew that Hayden’s story would touch my heart the deepest?!
#1 i hope Kimberly writes the story of Paired brother. This was a wonderful series, just beautiful, happy and inspiring. I loved everyone in them. They were just perfect. Thank you for them.
Another brilliant and moving story, the final part of the We Three Kings trilogy, you need to read this for yourself to realise the enjoyment this gifted story teller brings to her tales of faith and love
This series has truly and deeply touched my soul. I’ve had to stop repeatedly to wipe tears and praise God for all that he is. Even moments of prayer of gratefulness and thanksgiving. Kimberly Rae Jordan is truly anointed!
Goodness, this is a very inspiring and encouraging story. There are so much to learn from reading this book. I enjoyed reading about how Hayden and Paige handled the struggles they were faced with. Another good story Kimberly. Looking forward to your next book.
I really Loved this series ,God blessings is for all. No matter who you are,God has a mate for all, and God will and can handle any and all sisuation.I would.recommend to all The persons with a Kinbell
These three books centered around single people raising children were very touching and inspiring. The fact that they received so much love from a wealthy family took away the stigma that the world gives to the wealthy.
I loved the characters and the theme. The people were a mix of personality that had to bend to meet others. Never a doubt rather it was a Christian series. I recommend reading in order.
This story of this broken man, physically and mentally, coming face to face with his future is so heartwarming. The tension is written so well and the disabled boy that comes into his life is also a picture of the hope I see as a Pediatric Nurse.
All three books in this series are a joy to read! This is particularly so because of the characters and their problems. It will not disappoint. I found it hard to put down and had tears of joy at the end. Read all of them in order and you will be uplifted, inspired, and impressed!
Very good book, especially for those who are suffering disabilities
Very good - disabled child, MMC with accident injury, FMC with a disabled son and an ex husband who was a thief = centers a lot around Christmas themes - good read
This is the third in the King triplets series, and this one focused on Hayden, the brother injured in the accident that killed their father several years ago. It also features Paige and her young wheelchair-bound son, Rylan.
