Tyce was a sweetheart, intelligent, nerdy, and finer than necessary. He was Native and African American and it showed in his bronze complexion and his curls. He was an OB/GYN and the busy nature of his profession hadn't fared well for his relationships. However, it did help him meet the woman he felt would be his forever. A sad situation led Isis to the ER. Tyce happened to be the OB on call and he took care of her that night. There was an unspoken connection between them. Isis decided that she had to change her situation and that her life was worth living. Taking help from the resources provided at the ER. Isis sets out to gain independence and to shed the guilt she felt from the abusive relationship that became her norm. Tyce and Isis have a few more interactions and the connection is still strong. Isis is focused on making a life for herself and has no time for anything else so they start a friendship... I like that they took their time with each other. Isis was able to heal properly and it was extra sweet when they chose each other. I also enjoyed the Saint Victor brothers and how different and fine they all were. Troy was a bonus and need up being a friend to Isis.
This book needs to be edited. There were grammatical errors throughout the entire book. There were moments where the characters were talking to the readers, and for me that takes away from the book. I want to be wrapped up in their story, feel what they are feeling and that was lacking. It has potential because the characters definitely grabbed my attention.
✨First let me start by saying the Book cover tells no details of what this story entails (lol)- The cover doesn’t match to me, however I Loved 🥰 reading about Tyce! He’s the eldest brother of the Saint Victor Brothers & has quite the charm!
💘Tyce, the finest OBGYN on the block, and Isis, the beauty in distress, don’t have the most ideal introduction(at the hospital in a moment of crisis)- Isis was in NEED of saving, and Tyce was everything she needed and right on time⌚️🥲🥹🥰
If you want a romance, little drama, with the MMC being the sweetest ever, then this is your book!
I want to start by saying, I loveeee Dr. Tyce Saint Victor. He’s the kind of man that turns heads but doesn’t even notice because he isn’t checking for any of those women—until he locks eyes with Isis. Isis was in a terrible relationship before her and Tyce’s paths crossed. & while Tyce had his first impression thoughts about Isis and her relationship, he was still drawn to her. Their connection, the care that he showed for her—omg 😍. The friendship dates, this man is a sweetheart but only for his loved ones. Their love was patient, kind, restorative , and beautiful. Isis had to choose to save herself at a time when she was struggling to see her worth. It was beautiful to see her recovery journey. I enjoyed seeing her find her voice and her strength while having a supportive friend and partner by her side. I really loved how his family embraced and supported Isis. I am so excited about the rest of this series, the Saint Victors are quite the family and I’m ready to see how their love stories play out.
Overall I highly recommend this book, please check the TW/CW warnings before you start this read.
The way I wanted Tyce Saint Victor for myself!!!! This was a great read. I loved that there was drama, but it wasn't overdone. And the love story was gentle, it was patient, it was kind. It was biblical. AND it was hot. The author really did that. I loved it. Starting on the second one.
Trigger Warnings: Domestic violence, miscarriage, being unalive
Tyce, the nerdy ,smart intelligent and not forget oh so fine with his Native American and African American mixed self leaving a dose of sexiness when passing you. And a doctor to boot...yesss Just one of the Saint Victor Brothers.
Isis, the beautiful Queen that doesn't realize she's a Queen being trapped in a volatile relationship and enduring mental and physical abuse when being un-alive is easier than living to her. Another trip to the ER and Isis is treated by the handsome sexy doctor on call that evening Dr Tyce Saint Victor.
Their connection, even as strangers, was so strong. To me, because they created a bond of friendship is what made their love story so powerful. Their love was patient, kind, restorative through healing past hurts. It was a beautiful and touching journey for Isis. Tyce supported Isis with reclaiming who she was before her ex by knowing when to be able to let her stand on her own even when he wanted to hold her hand through it. It made my heart smile for Isis to realize her self worth by finding and using her voice.
I loved how the Saint Victor family embraced her. I'm anxious to read the rest of this series.
Isis is in the midst of a violently abusive relationship when she meets Dr. Saint Vincent. Tyce doesn’t mean to fall for one of his patients, but it happens.
I liked that this story tried to be a realistic as it could. Isis and Tyce knew that their relationship was going to take time, so they moved as slow as they needed to.
If you like fine men, and women finding themselves after a history of abuse, this book is for you.
I enjoyed this book. It was well written and I enjoyed the characters. Even though a person may have been through hell and back they’re still worthy of love. That was the theme for this book. The doctor was able to help her heal and she was able to do the same for him. He was loving, supportive and protective - all the things that she lacked and needed. Great read!
“Love making isn’t transactional sweetheart. When I give you pleasure there’s not a requirement to return the favor. Sometimes I’m just going to want to please you and I need you to be ok with that,”
Whew that was a mouthful in itself. This was an amazing read I really hated for the story to end. The way the healed each other was perfection.
Wow this book gave me everything I needed and more.. I was so glad when she finally found the courage to up and leave her abusive ass ex. Trice was everything I needed in this relationship.. He was so patient and kind and didn’t rush her to do anything.. He was so attentive and patient with her I just loved him as a character

I am so glad that I discovered this amazing author. I really appreciate her writing style and the pace of this story. I was able to visualize every character. I will be reading the entire series and other series as well. I finished this in less than two days. I really really enjoyed it.
It was ok. A quick read. I liked all of the characters and the story moved a long. It was kind of predictable and slow at times but overall a good read. The set up with the other brothers and their personalities seem very similar to other series that I read so I’m not interested in the other books.
Although this story took me through a myriad of emotions, most of the story I was on a cloud. And the cover does not begin to address this man's beauty, both physical, mystical, and highly compassionate nature. The story was amazing. I need more of this crew.
This was a good book. Even though it talks about domestic violence it doesn’t dwell on it. It dwells on the healing which is light and airy. Can’t wait to read more
