Overall i rate this series 4.5 stars This whole series has been a hell of a ride, i have gone thru so many emotions and felt what these characters have gone thru. Since this is the last book i expected something more i guess, it was good but it was a bit chaotic and messy. Characters where thrown into this pack and people where running around crazy, i just wanted some more explanation to everything, lol. I also waited for the kickass moment of the whole forbidden pack showing how powerful they where being dark cruel and being a powerhouse but i did not get any of that. And everything revolving Willows power is still not reveled Still this is a really good series and is one of my all time fave series
So I'm going to be frank. This book did not have the ending I wanted or needed to see at the ending of this book. There were several small plotholes that I felt got overlooked, that I truly felt bothered me and that either the particular storylines should not have been introduced or should been been explained further. I'll do what I did for book 3 and keep it in a list. To try and keep my thoughts in a little bit of order. They wont be in any kind of order just in the way my brain thinks of them.
1. Onyx. He apparently has a 3rd alter-ego? or 2nd? I didnt even realize he had a 2nd. But back to my point, This was mentioned in like 2 paragraps and never mentioned again. Oh and his supposed Reaper powers? we just going to ignore that as well.
2. The Vile Queen Plot twist that everyone said was such a twist? I felt was a letdown. After the runway, and seeing the counterparts, it wasnt a far stretch. It was a little letdown and then there was the epilogue. It didnt needed to happen.
3. Pack Orgy? But never happened even though it was mentioned. Beta Malachite, Amos, Arthur. Do they not get their time? To me you need to make time for all of Willows mates. They need their time. That is the problem with having a big harem. Never enough page space for every person in the harem.
4.The book was 800+ pages. Even though it was that long, I didnt feel like the book went anywhere. There were a lot of scenes. But It could have been wrapped up or been put into a book 5. This book felt like a mish-mash of scenes put together. Where some of them didnt really work cohesively. Where I had to go back and read a few times to truly understand what was happening.
5. Willows speed? Is it because of her fae?
6. Can we talk about the counterparts at the runaway? Are we really not going to get any conversations with the ones that werent known? Especially the blast from the past from the ring? (thats the only hint you get!!!) Like while that one conversation did happen... what about all the other that needed to happen....
7. I think the biggest thing that truly bothered me, is that before I read book 4 I had read a comment from Avery, (this will be paraphrased) felt she needed to get the book out because everyone thought she wouldnt finish the series. Honestly. even if that is true. You shouldn't rush your work.
8. Though I truly enojyed the book, the plotholes really pulled me out of the story when they happened.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
When you first start reading the series fall in love with the relationship of Aurelia and Onyx and Willow and buy the fourth book. Those two characters are so overshadowed by so many other characters, spoiler alerts, spoiler, alert, spoiler alert
that the fact that in the last book Aurelia saves the day Doesn’t really mesh well. Willows ease in the disbelief of her friend makes her a horrible friend and the downplay of how powerful Aurelia is doesn’t make any sense and if you read Aurelia‘s book, they talk about how they have to pretend to not like each other and pretend to not be friends in order to find out who, the vile queen is but that’s never mentioned in Willow stories so the books don’t really keep the story coherent or the same which means they probably weren’t written at the same time which is fine . Onyx being the main guy in her life and Victor and the fact that we find out more about all of her other men and they’re back stories, even onyx’s brother, and they all have more powers and we know about their origins and some Gain more powers and onyx doesn’t and you would think that he should seeing as how he also went through the same things that she went through and then also the fact that Willow has all this power and Aurelia kinda get like a little kingdom like it’s not even close to it seems like Like she’s just all powerful wolf goddess shifter hybrid, but the queen comes along and easily just disarm everyone and then Aurelia saves the day but I thought Willow was just so powerful like the story just doesn’t logically flow like the way Aurelia is played down to be this just nobody That willow surpasses and willow is just bound for greater things, but Aurelia comes along and just saves today. There was plenty of time to build more for Aurelia and for Onyx because there who were a part of her original Wolfpack and they should’ve gotten more detail they should’ve gotten more. They should’ve gotten more granted Aurelia got her own book series but Onyx as one of her mates should’ve definitely gotten more. He essentially was kind of like toss aside, he also wasn’t given too much depth as a character he was made to just be extremely insecure and really only focused on sex and I think that was really unfair especially because he stuck by her side and he was with her longest and for him to just kind of be kind, like push the side Towards the end of the book really didn’t sit well with me overall a good book, but there were some points in it that could’ve been strengthened
NEVER underestimate Willow and her Forbidden Pack...tsk tsk tsk. Shame shame Vile Queen....We pick up with Willow and her guys in a pickle. However dear reader....if you've been reading this action packed series, then trust you have some fun stuff ahead. True to form this final book of the series *is* jam packed with adrenaline laced pages, snark, action, deception, intrigue, and some SERIOUS surprises! Get ready boys and girls for our Queen is ready to rise, and show all she's not playing. That nasty Vile Imposter better run 😉. History rears its head a lot in this one. Both hidden history and forgotten and remembered to help bring down an enemy (yes we do learn who she is). I absolutely LOVED this book oh so much!!! These characters have a special place in my heart, and the ending was crafted expertly. However...just when you think it was done....SURPRISE 😉. Ya get one more little gift. Bravo indeed!!! I love how much Willow has grown as a character through the course of this series. She has truly come into her own as such a powerhouse that knows her worth as a human. She has a huge heart and a strong compass for what's right, but won't be walked all over. She has indeed become the Queen we always knew she was meant to be. I look forward to seeing what's next in this wonderful world 😉.
Honestly I was gonna rate this higher but I have some complaints. While the series was good it was confusing at times. I also want to mention that she has like 11 or so mates now. She didn't get time with all of the new or potentially new ones by the end of this. I don't know if this was supposed to end for now and then start a new series after this But a lot of things were unanswered in my opinion.
We finally know who the vile queen is only for her fate to be decided but instead of that happening she gets kidnapped. So that left an unanswered question as to what happened there. Not to mention again with all of the mates there wasn't enough time for all of them we didn't get enough backstory on half of them. I read 1 person's review that said willow got a better deal than her best friend. And I can't actually say exactly what I wanna say without spoiling this.
But I will say that once you read this book and in its entirety you actually figure out what happened and what's going on. But again there's still a lot of questions that aren't being answered
If you want to read this series give it a try it wasn't bad but I will say it was not my favorite by this author. Also if there's any Typos misspellings or anything that's not written correctly in this review it's because I'm doing talk to text
Fantastic Start, Uneven Finish — Hoping for Growth Ahead
This series started out amazing. The author’s world-building in the earlier books was out of this world, and I was completely hooked. But then came the last book, and it felt like everything that made the story strong started to unravel.
One big issue for me was the sudden addition of extra love interests. While I liked each of them individually, adding so many at once weakened the impact of the relationships we’d already grown to care about. Realistically, the FMC would never have enough time for all of them, and it made the story feel crowded rather than romantic.
Speaking of the FMC—she was such a badass in the earlier books, but in this one, she felt overpowered and less like the strong, capable character I loved. I understand that heroes sometimes need help, but it didn’t feel balanced here.
There were also some plot points that didn’t make sense and moments where it felt like the author forgot details established in previous books. A reread of their own work could have made this finale great instead of just okay.
Despite my disappointment with this book, I still plan to keep reading this author’s future work. I’m hopeful their storytelling will mature and return to the strength it had at the start of this series.
What a finale! And wow was this was a hard book for me to finish. I usually finish reading a book within 5 hours of getting it. Not only was this book massive!-it was a true pageturner where i nearly felt winded with the pace Will-ow/a/iam and the pack had with this one. When i start reading i wan to enjoy the hypnotic words, feel the emotional rollercoster and get so sucked in that i forget to turn on my lights at night because i was gone from my body all day. I love when that happens! Sadly this time my reading was interrupted by 2 lovley bordercollies i have been dogsitting for a long weekend- along with my own dog, getting lucky with the combo of that and feeling like crap with the flu.. This book will be reread in a couple if weeks when i can go true the entire series without stopping for long dogwalks or coughingfits. Like i said-it was a hard book for me to fininsh, but and i mean that. It was worth my weekend time management struggle! The joy an sense of accomplishment i felt for these characters is simply mesmerizing to me. I love this series and could not force myself to wait any longer before knowing what came after the last book!! Now do I recommend this book and series? ABSOLUTELY!
This last book in the series truly took me through the wringer! I laughed and I cried, I cheered and I screamed in upset! Avery has done it again! Took us from one extreme to another with effortless control of her world.
We pick up at the exactly where we left off with Willow being thrown from the plane, and all the turmoil that erupts after Willows guys find out who the culprits were who combined strategies to capture and get rid of her.
But Willow and her men refuse to be tamed. After Willow/William and his pack heal, a new and exciting adventure awaits them, it takes us from the Vatican to NYC. Tops of mountains to the bottom of cliffs! With side trips to Faire to even things out.
So much action, adventure and hot times with her mates! Once you start this book, you won’t want to do anything but keep isolated and tuned into Willow’s world. So many surprises, new additions to the harem, and an unexpected ending, make this the perfect conclusion to an addictive and mind blowing series.
Download this book now! Then prepare yourself for an amazing journey.
Avery is just a bad a$$ author! Period! it has been one hell of a roller coaster ride since the beginning of willows story and I have fallen in love with willow and her forbidden pack, I can't express enough how emotionally involved you feel for every character because avery just captivates you with her epic creations it makes you wish all her characters could be your real life pack! Willow has literally been through hell and back and she keeps fighting throughout her journey, which has been wild! I don't like to give out spoilers because in my opinion you just need to dive in and get lost in the worlds avery creates, I did and I've been obsessed over her creations ever sense lol, willows story will tug your heart strings, will infuriate you, make you laugh so hard it hurts and will make you hott!🥵 lol it makes you feel all the emotions and honestly willows story has been beautiful to read! If your looking for twist and turns that will blow your mind, some darkness, steam for days and a emtional roller coaster ride, I highly recommend you read this series! I promise you won't be disappointed! So just dive in and be prepared for a wild ride! Happy reading! ❤️
Af this point all the readers have invested a lot of time in this series.
The good things about it are The length, the world building, I also like the fact that it’s talking about mental health and coping ways etc. I enjoy a good rh and seeing the different relationships develop.
This book was all over the place, it was 40% mental health talk, 20% action, 15% character development and some actually content for 25%. It is that I feel invested and I kinda like Willow her different personalities. This book is supposed to go about a badass queen with strong kings by her side but I just misses the mark in the execution of this strength. Willow has a lot of strengt and is such a strong queen but she gets fucked over to much. She’s not badass, her mates solve most of her problems and this is kinda logical since she has a lot of trauma. But it’s just a no for me. At the same time she jumps into so many new relationships without any dept.
*English is not my first language, born and bred in Europe*.
So was gonna say how much I’m gonna miss this series but right at the very end I see we don’t lose out on willows story, there’s more to come and I’m very excited.
4 books in and it’s been brilliant, addicting and incredible. I mean can this woman stop adding to her harem lol I wasn’t expecting this many but you can’t help but agree they are all perfect. Just don’t know how she can find the time to please each one, be a alpha, run a successful business, be part of the Fae, witch and wolf world but yeah she’s one superwoman for sure. Gender bending is a new one for me and I bloody love it, it’s like we get more than we ever thought, on top of that some other added unique personalities added and it really makes this series one of a kind and one that deserves more than 5 stars. And I hope Arthur is right and it ends up on Netflix 😜
Let me start off by saying, reading the last book in a series is always so hard for me. Willow's (William's) story is by far one of my favorites of Miss Songs. Much like the other books in this series, she is a thicc one, bigger then the others in fact. But thus, the book will fly by for you. You will probably experience an array of emotions, much like I did while devouring these pages.
Also thank God you can rely on the story to pick back up where the last one ended. There is nothing worse then jumping back into a series and not knowing how you got from point a to b.
Obviously this book is going to bring those steamy scenes we love and also giving me the ones I've been begging for! The secrets of the Vile Queen and so much more! This series will forever be on my reread rotation!
This is an author that knows how to craft a story that lives, breathes & grows within the readers mind. This story full of rich characters whose feelings and backstory that are engaging to me as the reader into the wild twists, turns and surprises that are involved with reading this book. The main female character alone take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. This is a story about a strong female character that finds her way through all the struggles of life while figuring out exactly who she is and what she wants. I love all the different aspects of Willa that clearly shine through this series. It keeps you at the edge of your seat. After a wild ride this book was an exciting conclusion of Willa & her men’s stories.
For a second there you had me and I was all oh no it can't be I'm so glad it's not I can't express with words how much I love all your books. The only reason I still go on Facebook is to check out your page I love Willow and hee forbidden pack and now beta Malachite is joining, lovely and I'd love yo learn how long he's been watching over without her knowledge. This series is so fire and I can't for the next book. Even though I don't like Sia but since there's some trauma cause by her husband I'd like to see how she cam redeem herself in her children's eyes and see if they can start by slowly getting to know who she used to be and maybe a little forgiveness. I LOVE YOU AVERY.
I cannot love this series more. Willow is so strong and amazing, her other "personalities" shall we call them are just as wicked awesome if not more. Then comes her Pack of men...which gains a few in this book! We get to know more about them and deeper than ever this time around. Nothing like domination, sabotage, murder, revenge, and people returning from the dead every time you turn around. I'm sad this part of Willow's story is over but I cannot wait for her next series! Once again thank you Avery, your beautiful brain, infinite imagination, and selfless soul for bringing us such amazing books and characters like Willow De Luca Alundra Phoenix!
All I can say is it was the most thrilling wild rollercoaster ride! I laughed, I cried, clapped my hands and just couldn’t even look at this book sometimes. Sometimes the monologues were too long but it made willow who she was! I loved every single one of her men. Arthur became a firm favourite of mine and Amos/Auraleia! The twist was so enjoyable and although the vile queen was disgusting, I hope in Willows new series, the vile queens husband gets what’s coming to him! I want to see Onxy finally claim his heritage and get to see what malachite will be like! Honestly I could go on with all the things I want to see next but I’m looking forward to the new series! Hopefully with more bloodshed!
Avery Song is truly Gifted Inspiring-Writes with her Heart and Soul Writer. Willows story comes alive and off the pages to you are frantically reading and feeling every word down to your soul. The way the Books transpire with details and the twists the turns the Hot As Hades Chemistry with Willow and her Forbidden Pack💥🎇🎆These men truly Dominating Possessive Alphas who absolutely adore and love there Queen who let’s face it is a BadAss Female. I can’t tell you the whole book because I will spoil it. Please if you haven’t read the series go order your copy today . This Last finale book ties everything together and I mean everything. 10000⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was the perfect final book for this series. I have been waiting forever but it was worth it. I adore the psychotic Willa… The dominate William… the jaded Willow. All sides of her are amazing as is the never ending harem 😂 I’m pretty sure Saint and Neo will always be my favorite but Loki and Onyx were amazing too! And of course Dimitri being all alpha and Vikky being so standoffish til he wasnt. I mean hell I can see why they kept adding to the pack.
Bottom line- read this series. You won’t regret the roller coast of craziness. I promise!
Avery has put together the most amazing series ever! Willow and her pack of Forbidden Fruit dominate the world and... in the bedroom. The men are sexy and Willow is such a badass that the series (and this book) has you drawn in. I was laughing, crying, and ticked off right along with the characters. To dive so deep i to a world and to get to know the characters so deeply is why Avery is such an amazing author. Read now... you will not be disappointed (unless you get upset over missing out on your other plans because this book cannot be put down)!
First I am happy and sad all at the same time to see Willow's book come to an end. I love their story and have been looking forward to the conclusion for a hot min. However! I am also sad!!! I love Willow/William with my entire existence and now will be forced to reread this series to get my fix! The ending to this series was beautifully written and thoughtful for the reader and characters. You can tell our girl Avery had a hard time letting go too. I can't tell you how much you should just jump in and get a copy! It was an amazing conclusion!
This book had it ALL!!! Drama, Suspense, Reveals, Shocks, and Of Course Steamy Times!!!😍😈😍 It had my feels all over the place!!! Sad one second and mad another!!! Poor Willow does not get a break, seriously she needs one!! If its not one thing that pops up it's another!!! This book was the best one of the series in my opinion!!! And guess what?!?! We FINALLY get to know who the Vile Queen is!!!! Not gonna tell you or give any hints!!😈 You gotta read it yourself!!! Hehe!!!😘 Enjoy!!❤
Well folks, she's done it again! She's given us a fabulous series, with the potential for more to come. Honestly, I love reading anything this author writes, but these particular characters have a special place in my heart and quite frankly, I can't get enough of them and their story. In this book, new characters are brought in, my favorite so far is Arthur, he makes me laugh out loud, and many questions are answered along with old friendships being reunited. I'm ready for the next adventure to begin, bring on the madness Miss Avery!
I love this series so much you are a great writer I really hope that you keep going with the next series for Willow and her men also I think this might be a spoil so I’ll do some dots……………………………….:…………………………………………………………………………………………………… I hope that was enough I never left a review before but anyways I’m really hoping because I’m not positive by this last book that malachite and Alpha Memphis are part of her harem but I’m really hoping so anyways I love your books so much and I would recommend anybody to read anything of yours you are great talented writer
Ok. I admittedly felt that Miss Avery took waaaaaay too long to put this book out!!! But, it was definitely worth the wait! Will Willow and Aurelia's friendship survive the growing pains of responsibilities and mates?? Hmmmm....This book is amazing! Avery Song created this fantastical world that I love! Characters I want to be my boyfriends! And nasty villains I want to annihilate! So much happens to tie up this chapter in Willow's world!!! I'm so here for it! And for what comes next! So, many possibilities!!!
After the long wait, I am ecstatic to final close this chapter in the life of Willows forbidden pack. This book lived up to the rest of the series and then some. It was such an exhilarating page turner. Plus that ending had so many twists that by time you finish you’ll be begging to know the same thing as me; What’s next ? Will Willow’s other alter ego get a name? Will the promised Forbidden Pack Orgy happen? What about Aurelia’s parents? I need to knowww!
Never have I skipped so many pages to get to the plot ending. So much wining, repetition and morose pages that say nonthing. How many times do you have to break down Willows brokenness. At this point it just felt like a “I need to fill a word count” book so let’s talk about Willows suicidal tendencies. AGAIN. So much could have been taken out to make it so much better. But no, I had to wade through the content of the first three books to get to who was the Vile Queen.
This is one of my favorite series of Avery Song and I am so sad to see it end but it was so good. This book had my emotions going all over the place. I was crying one minute, tick off and over joy the next. There was a lot wrap up and in this book but there was also some new open ended info about the story that I needed more about. Over all there was enough steamy scenes, a$$ kicking and heart touching moments to make this a great book.
We get to delve into more of Willow and her packs affairs in this book. We have new members joining the pack some still just on the outside. While they all fight to take their rightful places in the world. We learn many secrets in this book including who the Vile queen is and just when you think it might end we get a glimpse of more to come with an added series. This book will have you hooked and waiting for whats to come next.
Love this series. From the first book to this last one will keep you in a world that is adventourious, scary, thrilling, sexy, powerful and hypnotic state. Makes you feel like you right their with willow/William and his/her forbidden pack. New loves , new people to kill or protect, heartbreak and rise to glory in this one. You won’t be sorry you read this series. Great storyline and even better characters.
Wow this was a great sort-of conclusion to this series. I say sort-of because....well you need to read it to understand (no spoilers). Willow really comes into herself and she becomes who she needs to be. We meet new people and finally uncover who the Vile Queen is. Lots of twists and turns. We also get a resolution for her and Aurelia. I really enjoyed this series. That ending (epilogue) was crazy.
