I read this book via an Amazon KINDLE Unlimited download.

All too often, women who are essentially merely housewives live a mundane existence tending to the myriad of needs of their respective families. Their escapism is that of watching television with its collection of melodramatic soaps and other so-called reality programs. While this might be the prevailing situation for housewives of today, they need to remember the fascinating stories the Bible had given them to read as a child. These same stories today can give readers far more reaching and thought-provoking implications than they did back then.

In her book, Kimberlee Herman introduces her readers to 12 amazing biblical women in a manner they’ve never been known before. The Lord had given these women divine tasks, which they’d succeeded in carrying out, and which Ms. Herman wants her readers to get to know better and a little more inimitably.

This book focuses on 12 Biblical women and the indispensable lessons we can, as Christian women, learn from their lives. Their lives can serve as the inspiration we require by acquiring the knowledge of these lesson to get through the challenging times we might have to endure. These women’s stories can assist us in listening for the Lord’s calling for us to fulfill the plans He has in His mind to accomplish.

My life has already been transformed since I began my journey of trying to be a good Christian two years ago after publishing my first two Christian and starting to write my Christian blog. For desiring her readers, including myself, to have an inspirational reading experience about 12 transformational women in the Bible, I’ve given Ms. Herman the 5 STARS she’s gotten from this rather voracious reviewer of Christian books.

For the last 12 weeks, I've been reading a devotional written by my friend, Kimberlee Herman, MSW, LCPC. It's called, "Women of the Bible: A 12-week Bible Study for Christian Women." And although that is the title, I would easily extend the invitation to all who are interested in learning more about the people in the Bible. After all, as a woman, I don't choose to not read a book on David because he was a man! :-)
This devotional explores the lives of 12 different and unique women from the Bible, giving an overview of their lives and faith. There are daily readings and inspiring questions at the end of each day's segment, which generally takes me only about 15 minutes to complete.
All of us are called to play a distinct role in our own time--even with our busy lives and our imperfections. We can all do what God has called us to do. Learn more about these surprising heroines and more about yourself!
