A good time
This playful little book was a fun read, but also packed with good information. I laughed out loud many times at the author's brilliant sense of humour. Worth it just for the jokes, but to get the jokes you need to know hive, so at that point you may as well learn to play.

My young daughter introduced me to Hive and has beaten me at every game up until now. So, I am trying to improve.
I found Hive to be a very addictive game, and this book provides details of the basic rules and suggested opening moves, strategies for winning, mistakes you should try and avoid and some advanced tactics.
Well worth reading if you are new to the game.
