Welcome to Hell
To Hell and Back is the fourth book in the Sin Demons series and it was a doozy. Things are a hot mess, Maverick has kidnapped Aria, the guys are frantic, Lucifer is completely insane and extremely deadly, and they still have to find the artifacts, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Aria for all her bravery and spunk is in over her head. She's in Hell with Lucifer who is so far into the crazy that a psychopath seems like a normal adorable puppy. However, She's staying strong, not letting her captors get to her, giving all the sass. However, there are unexpected side-effects to being in Hell that she didn't predict. Maverick is getting underneath her skin and Sayah feels different and it's very unnerving.
The guys have lost it. They are devastated over Aria's kidnapping, there are some very deep emotions going on. It's easy to tell now how much they love Aria. They are all stressed out, Cain is livid, Dorian feels guilty, and Elias while angry also might be a little heartbroken. But they are determined to get to Aria they just hope it's not too late.
In this story, readers got a glimpse of Hell and what Lucifer is like as a ruler. I always find it interesting when this scenario is depicted in books because things always vary. In this Hell is a city that works much like a human one with varying creatures but it is a hellish landscape and there are darker parts. There was a ton of new information about Lucifer, the princes, and even things about Aria are answered. However, a new mystery arrives when Cain, Dorian, and Elias have to deal with trouble in Glenside.
To Hell and Back was an exciting read that answered some questions but left plenty more. The story ends on the cliffhanger readers have been prepared for because it was bound to happen. There are so many dangers that lay ahead and things just got a whole lot worse.
