First of all AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
I can't believe we finally got a part 2 to this!
And second of all AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! THIS WAS SO GOOD!!! I literally cried.
I literally can't express my thoughts properly, but I was right!!! (as well as most people who read part 1 guessed)
I absolutely LOVED this! I don't how know she did it, but Lynette Noni managed to give us closure and leave us with another cliffhanger (or should I say potential story!!!)
Anyways, whatever happens, I am so so so happy to have been able to go with Alex on her journey. It has been incredibly wild and crazy fun, not to mention so super special with all the friendships she made (shoutout to Niyx of course). I literally can't express in words how much I love this whole series and what it means to me. This whole series and the world of Medora will always have a very special place in my heart (as well as my FAVOURITE book-boyfriend Kaiden James *insert heart eyes*).

Thanks so much for writing Lynette!!

LOL

The cliffhanger of Part 1 left me so confused because it seemed to imply exciting things in the future, but this is how it finishes up?

Let's face it: both this and part one were written solely so the author and fans could revisit the characters we loved so much. It was a totally pointless, nothing story, but we loved it anyway because we loved the characters.

This part, however, definitely feels like it was written for the author's sake. I suspect she had trouble letting go (Didn't we all).

So I guess more than enjoying this story I just ended up rolling my eyes a lot because none of it was really necessary. Nothing was said in this story that wasn't really said elsewhere, and if it was intentionally setting up a spin off I would forgive it for that but the author has repeated on many occasions that she's pretty much done telling these stories. It's like she's leaving loose ends just in case she decides to revisit this world instead of create a new one.

Which makes sense because, really, the Medoran Chronicles is still the best thing she's created.

Am I mad I read it? Not at all. Would I have preferred that these short stories never existed? Probably. But when the author one day uses it as inspiration to write an entire spin-off series, I'm probably gonna be first in line for that.

#3.5 in my Christmas book binge!

Yesss finally some closure after that killer cliffhanger! And some precious Alex content, and - even more excitingly - more of my dearest love, NIYX!! I’m so glad he’s back (in some form or other), I missed him so much!

Such a precious little novella, an early present to lovers of the Medoran Chronicles!

I WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS BOOK AND I HAVE OPINIONS

A Very Medoran Kaldoras part 2 picks up after A Very Medoran Kaldoras part 1. I really enjoyed part 1, but then again I am a softie for all things romance and Alex and Kaiden's gift exchange as well as the Blake and Jeera proposal made me love the first book even more then I would have without those things.

We finally find out who is in the painting. I guessed who was in the painting, yay!

This book focuses less on the group of Alex's friends which made me a bit sad honestly. Like I love the character that Alex interacts with in this book but all I wanted was some core six. Was that so hard to ask? Even just some Kaiden and Alex romance would've done it for me. Guess I'm going to have to rely on fanfic to give me the aftermath, although, than fanfic for this series is pretty bare (Or you could say Bear??? Hahahaha... why is no one laughing? I'm so funny)

Speaking of Bear, I missed him, and Jordan, and Dix, and Kaiden, and Declan.

Also, no clarification of Stironnigan... um, a bit sad there.

The authors note is kind of sad, we're never venturing back into Alex's story and honestly, I'm going to miss that this is the END. The end of Alex's adventure with her friends.

I WILL NEVER GET TO SEE THE JEERA AND BLAKE WEDDING! NOOO

Anyway, I rate this four stars because honestly at points it was confusing with the library magic and we never really found out HOW they came back. But I guess that leaves it open for another series Alex better make a cameo in the other series. Like if they go out of the library they got to go see Alex and the gang.

Although, considering the circumstances I don't think that would be wise at all considering how one of the two people feel about Alex and her friends.

Give us a Jeera and Blake wedding story and I might consider giving this five stars.

BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY AMAZING, JUST KINDA CONFUSING

Thanks for the Christmas gift Lynette Noni, it was great!

YASSSSSS I GOT MY CLOSURE
I finished this approximately 12 mins ago, and I'm on cloud 9.
This was perfect.
This was the perfect ending to this amazing adventure.
"Alex's journey is over." This was a blow and a balm at the same time. It was kind of putting off that this WAS 'goodbye', that this was truly 'the end', but I could understand. She deserved this. She deserved to have a future, to be happy and to constantly not worry about her loved ones getting hurt. So this was goodbye to Alex and co. And I'm ready to move on.
But the adventure continues with two of the most unlikely people. Niyx (who is supposed to be dead) and Aven (who is super evil).
And I can accept that. Alex's story might be over, but it isn't totally goodbye. The story still goes on, whether we get to read it or not.
AND NIYX IS BACKKKKK (well, kinda)
I loved, LOVED this. WE GOT OUR CLOSURE PEOPLE!! WE GOT TO SAY A PROPER GOODBYEEE!!
I don't get to do this with most series.
Sooooo, yeah.
The story goes on.
But thankfully, homegirl gets a break.
Goodbye to all these characters I've bonded with these past few weeks. Thank you for giving me a story I would never forget.
Thank you to Alex, Kaiden, Jordan, Dix, Bear, Declan, Niyx, Kyia, Roka, Zain, Zaylin, Xira, Soraya, Jeera, Nisha, Darrius, Fletcher, Hunter, Karter and everybody else I've probably forgotten.
And above all, a giant thank you to Lynette Noni, for giving me the adventure of a lifetime.

First of all, I cannot thank Lynette Noni enough for writing literally the BEST part 2 I could ever imagine especially when I never thought it would even be written!
After that cliffhanger in part 1, I was DESPERATE to know who was in the bushes, and although I always hoped it was Niyx, I couldn’t see any real possibility of it being him… but let me just say, I am so so so happy with Lynette’s decision for it to be Niyx. And not just because he is yet again another fictional character I am emotionally attached to, but because of his whole enigmatic purpose of being there and not to mention, the possibility of more books following his and Aven’s journey!
I loved the way the book just picked up straight from where we left off, with Niyx’s undying wit and “hello kitten” 🥰🥰🥰 but seriously, as soon as I read that line, I knew I was in for a great read!!!!
This was honestly the perfect conclusion to Alex’s journey and I am so glad to have followed her and all her friends along this crazy, insane and incredible ride!

A Very Medoran Kaldoras : Part 2
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It's perfect 😭❤️🤧

Thank you so much Lynnette !! I needed this ! Best Christmas present ever !!!
I love this series so much so that I never want it to end :)
But having said that I'm completely satisfied now !At peace infact 😄 cuz now I know the answer to *that* question which has been haunting me ever since I read "A Very Medoran Kaldoras" and of course Alex and her friends deserve to enjoy their life ! They had been through so much. I love that this short story has an open ending( could be considered as a cliffhanger I guess but not really!)I mean we got the much needed closure and a possibility for something more in the future !? I'm here for it ! Just letting you know😉❤️

"The Medoran Chronicles" is very close to my heart and one of my all time favorites so I'm forever grateful to you, Lynnette.
Love you to the moon and back ❤️

And.... obviously as a die-hard fan,I'm gonna join you on your writing adventures, wherever they may lead :)

Oh my goodness 😭😭 I am not okay, literally sobbing on Christmas morning but in the best way haha. This story is sooo sweet and heartwarming and the perfect amount of closure and leaving the story open.

If you're wondering what this is, it is a Part 2 to a short story set after The Medoran chronicles. So PLEASE go read the full 5/6 books of the series first, then read 'A very Medoran Kaldoras 1' which is free. And then read this one.

No spoilers, but revisiting the world of Medora is always going to be wonderful. It answers the freaking insane cliffhanger that AVMK 1 left and it the best way possible. I did not see that coming and when I read it I literally started crying and freaking out 😂😭.

Thank you thank you thank you Lynette for gifting us this story. I am so invested in this world and characters it makes me so happy this story exists.

In this novella, Alex and her friends dive deeper into the traditions of Kaldoras, creating new memories while reflecting on the importance of friendship, love, and togetherness during the festive season.

I can't even contain my emotions right now. I'm so happy that we saw Niyx again, I was crying and laughing cause that's what he does to me. I'm also ecstatic that we got his viewpoint but would also have loved to see Alex's true thoughts on seeing him.

I'm really hoping we can get more about the journey he's about to embark on but don't know if I could handle Aven in the mix in there.

I'm really going to miss this world now that I've officially completed my crazy binge on all of these novels. I have loved every second and I know a shower, calmer reread will be in my future.

Thank you, Lynette Noni, for sharing this amazing story that was in your head! I will cherish it forever!

Was this book necessary? Nope.
Did I love this book? Yes.
Am i biased? Absolutely.
Were tears shed? I think my bathtub is full.

This book was definitely made for both the fans and Lynette Noni. We love these characters, I feel so connected with them and I find it hard to let go. This book made it easier, especially with Niyx in the mix. Though I do feel like making Niyx ‘exist’ again was a bit too far, Noni has created such a great character whos easy to bond with; it simply doesn’t matter that he came back without answers.

Besides characters , I live for Lynette Noni’s writing style. It is literally so addicting and gives me a sense of comfort and closure

I love the Medoran Chronicles with my life pls help me
I NEED A SPIN OFF

Well. I know Lynette Noni said she was clearing things up with this part 2 (and she certainly did), but it seems like we were left with some different questions. Again. 😅
Nevertheless! I did enjoy this second part, especially as it explained that killer of a cliff hanger from the first 'A Very Medoran Kaldoras'. As Lynette said in the author's note, it really did provide more of a closure on the Medoran Chronicles than previously given, though it was different to have this story told from someone's perspective other than Alex's.

Still not over what a joy this series was to read, but I guess I'll never be.

Wow! that is all I can say. WOW!

Lynette you have done an outstanding job with TMC and I too am really sad to say good bye to them, but I know that TMC's will be always with me "for as long there are starts in the sky"(Nixy Raedon)😁, and defiantly my favourite series.

The spin offs for the TMD was so sweet and I am in love. My imagination just jumps to different scenarios of how, where and what they will go through in my sleep (ahahahah).

Once again, one of your biggest fans thank you so much for the emotional roller coaster with all of your books!

PS I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND LYNETTE NONI'S BOOKS!!!!!!1

I should e wanted this story since I first read “A Very Merry Kaldoras”, and may have been o e of the people nudging Lynette to write this for us.

I love this little tip of the hat to this world, and part of me would love another story every now and then, while another part of me is in agreement that Alex has earned her happily ever after.

While this story answers the BIG Question left in the first story, it definitely leaves room for another story, or a couple of stories, in the future.

Thanks for our Kaldoras present Lynette!!

1. i am crying

2. i. love. this. series. i’m so happy to see more of my favorite friendship ever written … but also sad that there hasn’t been a sweet & sarcastic friendship like this in her other series. i hate that my sweet summer child was a one-off but i hope she (or literally anyone) writes another series with this kind of relationship because it’s so pure and cute and the only thing that brings me joy in books. i literally highlighted the majority of this story because !!!! it’s perfect.

3. give him a series !!!!!!!!!!!!

A Very Medoran Kaldoras: Part 2 by Lynette Noni 📚💗

Synopsis: ‘WARNING: Spoilers from those who haven’t read the entire Medoran Chronicles series!

Journal back to the world of Medora for the eagerly waited sequel to ‘A Very Medoran Kaldoras’. Set nine mouths after the conclusion the series, find out who Alexandra Jennings finds in the painting - and, more importantly, why? Don’t forget to read Part 1 of ‘A Very Medoran Kaldoras’ first.

Review: ‘First of all, OH MY GOD!!! I was shocked to find out that we were going to be blessed with a part two. I had a feeling who would be in the painting, but I was so excited read it and just imagine it happening in front of my eyes. I don’t know how the Medoran Chronicles could get any better, but somehow Noni managed to do it, and give us closure but also leave us on a cliffhanger at the same time. But the ending, the ending!!! I was left wanting more and more.’

OML!
I CAN’T BELIEVE I’M JUST READING THIS

Honestly, I bawled my way through this. I love that this was our chance to get some closure after everything that happened in TMC. I’m so sad that this really is the end of Alex’s story tho. But I do appreciate that there’s the option for a spin-off. I would love love love to see an Aven redemption arc because past Aven is one of my all time favourite characters. Thank you Lynette for giving Alex and Niyx a chance to say goodbye. And thank you for giving us a chance to say goodbye to this world and it’s characters.

It was only a short story but it still counts to my goodreads goal right? 😂

FINALLY ANSWERS TO PART 1!!! I TOTALLY GUESSED WHO WOULD BE IN THAT PAINTING AND I AM FREAKING OUT 😭😭😭😭

Uuugghhhh this was so sweet but has left me so intrigued!! Now I want to know what happens next again 😂 at least it wasn’t as much a cliffhanger as part 1!! I truly hope Lynette returns to this world one day on the future. There is so much possibility for more stories and adventures with different characters 🥺

Ahhhh Niyx my lil fluffy, sunshine baby—I have missed you so much. If this is hinting at a potential Niyx/Aven spin-off, the answer is: yes. Yes, I need that now. Yes, I would devour that. Yes, I am melting already. Yes, I can already see the X-Men: First Class Professor X/Magneto storyline; bring on all the bromance and banter.
My heart was re-broken and patched up and re-broken. I loved every minute of this story.

This was a cute continuation of last year's Chritsmas short story. I didn't think it was really neccessary, but I love everything LN writes and it's comfortable to return to these characters. This installment somehow provided closure and a bit of a cliffhanger at once, just incase Noni ever wants to return to the world with a spinoff series.
Cute, corny, and cheesy and just what I needed to squeeze in a final read of the year.
