First of all; I gotta say this, you are living in fantasy world and you don’t believe in cursed fairies. Shame on you duke.
I've felt like this was gonna be ✨total trash✨ and turn into one of those crappy manhwas that are hyped for no reason but oh boy, it's not that bad... if you can past the first 4-5 chapters, that is.
I really should be hating this, really.
The plot is lowkey a ripoff of Who Made Me A Princess (어느 날 공주가 되어버렸다 1 Eoneu Nal Gongjuga Doeeobeoryeotda 1 ) (such as, first meeting a tyrant-ish but loving father, then meeting an ageless ml who knows magic and happens to be a well-known magic user, then going to the festival thing with the ml, the ml changes clothes and teleports with magic, meeting some other dude who might be the 2nd ml accidentally.. this and a lot of other stuff all happened in WMMAP), the art is ok and the story is fast paced so much that it feels absurd. Like, it was litterally so cringe how she met her dad threw a shoe at him and then decided she's going to reaproach him in 5 panels. I was like why the fuck I am reading this shit but it definitely got better and now I'm strangely committed to it (☝ ՞ਊ ՞)☝
Not everything feel like a rip-off. I mean there is this talking plant which is actually a cursed fairy and -
Oh.
-nevermind-
( ु⁎ᴗ_ᴗ⁎)ु
This totally feels like a Déjà vu.
I think the biggest part of the story that bothers me is the ML's age, the age gap is HUUUUUGE and the art - which kinda got better .
Overall; nothing to rock your socks off, but still a nice read. Be warned, however, it's filled with cliches and rip-offs, hence the reason if you are new to isekai manhwas you'd probably like it so much more.
It's kinda addictive when you read a huge amount of chapters in one sitting but totally not worth reading it week by week so I highly recommend everyone to wait until S1 is finished.
it's a nice change to see the dad is the hero because we always imagine characters in romances live their happily ever after once the story is over and here's one book showing that this is not the case for all of them
