A very enjoyable book.
I get the feeling that some details were lost in the translation, but even with that, some of the stories captivated me.

what interested me was that this collection consisted of translated works from famous or popular regional writers. but it was mostly bleak and downright depressing. thank god for kushwant singh who made me laugh with his- the agnostic.
