Amelia
This is my dream job. Head chef at a mountain resort.
Sure, it’s a resort for a very specific group of patrons.
I belong to Surrender, so I know the owners and I’m familiar with the lifestyle.
I’m not little myself. Or at least I don’t think so.
And then I meet Foster, and he makes me doubt everything I know to be true.

Foster
I’ve worked alone at Blossom Ridge for five years.
Now, Roman has turned it into a resort, and I’m good with that.
Until Amelia shows up with her excitement and adorableness.
It’s been a long time since I’ve had a little, but I’m drawn to her.
I just have to convince her it’s the life for her and that she’s mine.

Wonderful start to new series, great characters and plot
This was a simply wonderful start to this series and I know that other readers will be drawn into the characters plot and like me unable to put book down until you finish the book. Amelia is the head chef at a very well-respected restaurant and they cater for a very specific group of patrons.
Club Surrender is a club that caters for a particular group pf men and women that enjoy preference a very particular sexual tastes, they come to Club Surrender which allows them to play in a safe, sane and consensual place.
Foster had been working at the club by himself for the lonest time in Blossom Ridge, in total now it has been over five years and now that the resort is doing so well he is finally feeling drawn to her and wants to ensure that they she’ll feel his interest.
This is a wonderful read and I cannot wait for future book in this new series.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Roman and Lucy are turning his family home into the Blossom Ridge Resort. An exclusive retreat for Daddy Doms and their Littles. Leah and Craig are going to manage the resort and hiring is a bit of a challenge because of the lifestyle.

Amelia, a Surrender member, has been working at a café not far from the new resort. The owner Stella encouraged her to apply for the job of head chef and to Amelia's surprise and pleasure she got the job. This is a lifetime goal of hers and she wasn't about to mess it up.

Of course, the first thing Foster notices is the horrible smell coming from the kitchen. Amelia is cleaning the ovens which seem to have been neglected for a long time. It's not the best first impression as he bellows at her about the smell.

A bit later though after baking a few of her specialty muffins, Foster returns to the kitchen. This time he doesn't startle her. Although he says he won't critique her muffins, he's definitely interested in her.

Foster hasn't had a little in a very long time, and he's more than a little confused by his reaction to Amelia.

This makes for a fun pursuit as some familiar couples join them for a weekend, and Amelia agrees to give being little a try outside of the privacy of her rooms.

I love the way this relationship develops, it's fun, flirty and sensuous. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Age Play and Daddy Dom books are something that I'm always wary of reading, even though I love them. The main reason for my hesitancy is that the terms cover so much scope. Luckily for me, I've read a few in this sub-genre by this author and have always enjoyed them. This story forms book 1 of a new series, born from the Surrender series and I believe that they will be exclusively Daddy Dom.
I really liked this story from the beginning, with Foster so surprised to have such a strong reaction to Amelia that he couldn't help but put his foot in it. I loved that while he made no secret of the fact that he believed Amelia was a Little, he allowed her the space to discover what worked for her for herself, while loving and supporting her.
I really liked that it showed that Amelia was troubled over parts of the dynamic and that it caused her distress, but I also loved the sweetness between Foster and Amelia while they navigated this new relationship.
This was a great read and introduction to the new series.

Another great read by Becca Jameson. Her new book "Starting Over" is a spin off series from the Surrender series. This new series is Blossom Ridge. Both Amelia and Foster have a past with relationships. One was in an abusive relationship with there partner pretending to be a Dom but really has no clue how to be a Dom. The others Little just left. Even though they swore off relationships they found a attraction to each other. Plus learning more about themselves in the mean time. Foster decides after meeting Amelia he's going to fight for her for he wants forever with her. Amelia fights her feelings but decides on a trial basis. To find out what happens between these two I believe as a reader you should find out yourself. I highly recommend this book.

I was given an advanced reader copy this book for my honest review.

Starting Over by Becca Jameson is the First book in the Blossom Ridge. This is the story of Foster Stimson and Amelia Wescott. Foster is a grumpy man who is a Daddy Dom but his last little ran off and he hasn't moved past the hurt. Amelia is a submissive but her last relationship wasn't a good one with a true Dom. But now she is starting fresh as a head Chef at a new resort that host Daddy Dom and Littles at Blossom Ridge. Foster has had the Ridge to himself for a while and was the person taking care of the area but now its been opened up and the first run he had was with Amelia. They started off not so good but they both started to see that they had parts of each other that fit them together. Enjoyed this steamy read! I do highly recommend this book and Ms. Jameson writing.

I am looking forward to reading all the new Daddy/Little romances in Blossom Ridge spinoff of the Surrender series. Becca Jameson's exploration of the Daddy/Little world is always full of emotions and lots of sexy times. Each couple's dynamic is quite interesting and they are all quite diverse.

Foster Stimson is a self described curmudgeon and a Daddy Dom to his very core. Amelia Wescott is a skittish submissive in denial of her inner Little. It takes just one gruff encounter with Amelia for Foster to be completely captivated by this petite dynamo. A two day experiment gives Amelia some shocking insights into her Little self and they rattle her. But they also solidify her feelings for her Daddy and his ability to satisfy all of her needs.

Loved the start to this new series by Ms. Jameson. Ok, a spinoff to Surrender but still new. What starts as a rocky start to Amelia's first day at her dream job lead her to question everything about herself, her wants, and her needs. She had played at being little in the privacy of her own home on occasion however she is not prepared for the full on lifestyle that she ends up in with Foster. Foster has not had a little for years but is drawn to the new chef and wants to bring her out of he shell and take care of her in the only way he can. There are a lot of touchy moments and revelations. The push and pull with these two cause heat to rise from the pages!
I can't wait to read more in the series.

I received this book as an ARC group member in exchange for an honest review.

This story is an interesting one for me. I’m trying to get into the daddy/ little dynamic, but I’m keeping and open mind.

Amelia and Foster are thrown together when she becomes head chef at a resort that he has had to himself for 5 years..he’s set in his ways and resistant to change. When he sees her for the first time, it’s not pretty, he’s mean and dismissive, but she’s willing to give him a second chance. When they come together, they both unlock something that they didn’t realize they needed.

While I’m unfamiliar with a few of the couples mentioned, you still feel part of the story and the interactions between them all. It’s a definite great start to the series.

The couple: Foster and Amelia

Romance trope: DDlg
Series: Blossom Ridge
Length: 246 pages

Plot: Amy is happy to be starting over in a new place, a place where she feels comfortable with all aspects of her life. Then she meets the grumpy groundskeeper, Foster, and she realizes there may be one more part of her life she needs to explore, and Foster is determined to make that happen.

Commentary: It was...well, I hate to say it, but a little boring. It was very much just a negotiation for the entire book. I felt like Foster was extremely pushy, and of course it was done under the guise of him being the big guy in charge but to me, it came off as "poor little woman doesn't know her own mind," as in, how could she possibly know herself and what she wants and now her special Daddy Dom will come along and give her what she's really craving. I get that that's a standard microtrope in these books, but it felt really overdone and didactic here. It just didn't satisfy me. I didn't feel a romance so much as a case study.

Next book in the series: Finding Peace

A Little Girl struggles.

Amelia doesn't believe she's a real Little Girl when she first arrives for her dream job- head chef for a new vacation lifestyle club. Foster has been in reclusion since his previous little girl up and left him. It's love at first sight the minute he meets sweet Amelia to his shock, so he reacts gruffly and leaves her very confused. This is the story of Amelia's struggle to accept her little side in all its glory. The only con is that you wonder if this is a spin-off of another series because the other couples in this story are already established in their DD/lg relationships. If so, I'll want to go back to read their stories, too. 😉😊

Blossom Ridge, a new series by Ms. Jameson, and I know I'll be visiting as often as she'll invite us there!

Foster and Amelia's story is really endearing!

I love that Foster's first meeting with Amelia puts him off kilter! I might say, it may have done the same to Amelia!

Delving into a new side of herself, discombobulates her!

Foster is treading lightly, or is he? Is he moving too fast!?! Will he scare Amelia away?

Always interesting to read about different life-styles. Variety is the spice of life!!!

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Starting Over .
This is a great first book of a new series .
Amelia is head chef at the exclusive Daddy Dom and Littles resort Blossom Ridge . Amelia is a member of Surrender . She's not a stranger to age play . Foster is the grounds keeper at Blossom Ridge and also a Daddy Dom . Foster hasn't had a little for sometime but he thinks Amelia maybe his next little . Amelia doesn't see herself as a little . Will the two get it together . This story is full of heat and sexy times with some humor . I recommend taking the time to read .

I felt so much through the eyes of Amelia, her past spoke to me. Her need to get away and start fresh, I think everyone feels even outside of the lifestyle. Foster, first impression was I wanted to punch him. I felt him rude and overbearing and condescending. I felt like he was pushing his own agenda, not listening to or giving Amelia time to process. But as time went on, I saw that she needed the push (maybe not so rough) to explore the side she was hiding. I totally recommend this book to those wanting to feel something, anything.

Wonderful.

I have read a couple of daddy/ little books and have enjoyed them. I really like this one. It's not too long or too short. The characters are all loveable. The storyline is great. She denied her little side, and when she embraced it, all works out. The whole concept of this series I find is great. Love the idea of a place for just daddies and their littles to be themselves and get away for a while. The story between Amelia and Foster is nice. They both have a broken past when it comes to love, and finding each other is just heartwarming.

Amelia is now head chef at a mountain resort and it's her dream job. She meets Foster when he comes into the kitchen to find out what the awful smells are that's coming from the kitchen. He's nasty and grumpy and has had the place to himself for 5 years. Now it's a resort and people will be invading his turf. Amelia decides to give him a second chance and finds she likes him. There's humor, heat, and a HEA with great characters.

Starting Over is an entertaining romance by Becca Jameson. This book was a complete surprise to me. This is a role-play story where Amelia plays a "little" and Foster the Daddy. Their story is loaded with drama, humor and sizzle. I enjoyed it. Starting Over is book 1 of the Blossom Ridge Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.

I read a print copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I tried so hard to like this book, I am normally open to very kinky books but it’s just not one for me. I can’t get round it. There is nothing wrong with the way this book is written and it really opened my eyes up to this community and explained it in a way that made me understand the kink, but it’s just not for me.

Fascinating story about a new resort, Blossom Ridge. Amelia moves there as the new chef. She meets Foster while cleaning the ovens. His brusque manner puts her off but she decides to give him another chance. This story has it all, drama, humor, heat, and a HEA.

There is nothing wrong with this story, I just don't think it's for me. I've read a bit of age play before, but it just doesn't work for me, I don't know why I keep trying to read it. The book is a good representation of the genre, just not my cup of tea.

What????????

This book was the weirdest book I have ever read. Definitely not for me kind of life style. I really hope this is just a story someone made up and not some lifestyle that actually exists. This was just creepy and gross.

Amelia is excited for her fresh start as a chef. She’s confused about herself but Foster wants to help. He wants her to be whoever she wants without wondering what others will think.

Didn’t fully connect to this one although it was a great story. I did love that Amelia comes out of her shell and gives in to what she wants.
