Return From Rysa: Angels and Aliens

Rate this book
In many ways, Conner seems like an ordinary boy growing up in the 1960s. But since the age of four, he and his brother have been abducted by aliens multiple times. Conner’s gift of seeing beings from the spirit world sometimes gives him access to protection and comfort, but at other times, his ability adds to the horror of being hunted by extraterrestrials.
As he matures, Conner must learn which alien races he can trust, what they want with our planet, and how their agendas tie in with Biblical prophecy. While dealing with frequent moves and trouble at home, Conner will try to survive unrelenting attention from an alien race who has decided his genome may hold the key to saving their people.
This story creates a thrilling fictional narrative out of copious research on alien abduction conducted by the authors, including numerous firsthand accounts never made available to a general audience.

“Too intense for kids, this fascinating story blends spirituality and alien encounters in a way I have never seen before.” –Brandon Mull, #1 New York Times bestselling author of Fablehaven and Five Kingdoms

Amazing fantastic book!!!!

Could not put this book down....it was captivating and so easy to read. The story gives you so many interesting ideas about the galaxies and other worlds. It opens up so many possibilities about references in the scriptures to inhabited worlds. Can't wait for more books!!!

It was a pretty good book. If you take this "fiction book" and translate it to a "non-fictional based story" (meaning that it purports to be based on someone's REAL life experiences) and figure that some "creative liberties" were likely taken in order to make the book more palatable and readable, then you can learn a lot.

So, if you ever wondered: Are there such thing as UFOs and if so, why would they come to earth? What is their purpose? Are there good and bad beings piloting these UFOs? Then this book is for you.

The darker parts of the book were a bit "over the top". The "Dark Lords" were pretty evil and it was almost too much to read but I managed to read through it by putting on a "thick skin" (emotionally / spiritually speaking).

Spoiler alert:
Much of the overall contents of the book have already been presented in the Star Wars books and "franchise". In short: there ARE good and BAD forces in the universe and there are "good UFOs & bad UFOs".

Think of it like: "Jedi Knights vs. 'The dark lords'" .

Questions that I had to ask myself is: "If there are BAD UFOs then why would God allow this to happen to us here on earth, when it is COMPLETELY 100% against our will?" I think the answer might be in this advice: "don't mess around with UFOs or trying to attract aliens because you really don't understand the power you're playing with".

But, if you ever do get "mixed up" in it then 1) you can always pray to God for deliverance and He can save you and help you.

I am a great sci-fi fan and this passion inspired me to have a career as a jet pilot. I have watched and read a lot of sci-fi and find this book fantastic. I am also a Christian and believe there is plenty of life in the universe. This is a great novel and combines faith, angels with aliens and how this all plays into each other. This kind of all makes sense that we are being visited by angels and aliens.
The book is very well written with great characters and plot. I am now into book #2 and glad to hear there are going to be 5 books in the series.

I really liked the idea of this book. I don't feel like it was executed very well. It wasn't a smooth read. I feel like the story was jumping around a lot and perhaps the writers assumed their audience knew things that weren't explained well or at all in the story.

Oh dear. I thought I would love this one....it took FOREVER to read. There's something about it that goes against my grain. Truthfully, I finally had to mark it read and move on. Sorry, Phil.
