This is another excellent daily devotional book by Ronnie Stevens (who I am privileged to know personally). I like how he really dives in to certain details that otherwise might be missed, and gets the reader to think about those details, and the overall story of God's work throughout history, in ways that one might not have previously. I especially appreciated this in the history of Joseph's life, and how much Joseph and his actions were pointing to Jesus. Genesis is not just a record of the beginning of the world, humanity, and specifically of Israel--it is also filled with reminders of God's grace and mercy, and many incidents that point to His plan to redeem humanity. Ronnie highlights all of this well. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a devotional book, or who wants to learn more from Genesis.
