Witty and funny poems about the Old Testament with fun illustrations. They would be a great length for kids probably 3-4 and up. There are a few that take a little too much artistic license for my taste but he always put the references so you could check out the real story with your kid. The illustration of Goliath getting hit with the stone is bloodier than I expected. Will definitely be checking this out again when my son is older though.

This poetry book was a great book about the story of Moses and its religious importance. It discusses Moses and his interactions with God and the people of Egypt. It reminds me of my childhood, going to a Catholic school and learning through reading picture books and poetry books about the Bible. This book would be great for a read aloud within a Catholic School environment for children around the age of kindergarten and first grade. It is a fun way to learn about the Bible while capturing the children's attention. This could definitely be used for curricular purposes within a religion class.

I liked the creative words & rhymes used in the poems, and how it is extremely accurate to the Catholic faith. I also love the playfulness of each poem; it makes it easy to remember key things about catholicism. I liked pretty much everything about this book. I would never change anything.I think poetry-lovers, faithful people, poets, and people with creative minds would like this book. It freely describes bible verses in a way kids would understand it. It is also very inspiring and it’s one of those books that gives you a sudden urge to write.

Fun poems and illustrations about God and Old Testament Bible Stories. Silly and fun, rhythmic, but get the point across. Would be a great book to read to kids. The Biblical passages on which the poems are based are referenced, so before/after reading the poem you could read the Bible story. Destined to become a children's classic.

I think this is a good book for people to get into poems and funning, but good poems. This is for middle school readers.

Great book for getting kids excited about the Bible and learning about God and the people in the Bible days. It was also quite silly and entertaining.
