Have you ever met a guy who was so grumpy that you threw your drink in his stupid sexy face? I made it about five seconds with Hunter Mathis before I gave the scorching hot billionaire a vodka facial.
Don’t ask how I got hired as his personal assistant. I don’t want to talk about it. I’m just trying to make it through a single day of working for my impossibly handsome, unbearably growly billionaire boss without the two of us making a scene.
Hunter wants me to follow his rules and fetch him his coffee. I want him to stop scowling around the workplace and loosen up for a change.
We’re tearing the whole office apart, and that’s not good for either of us. The only way we’re going to save this company is if we can learn to work together. But first, I’m going to turn that frown upside down, no matter what it takes. I just have to do it without falling for, or falling into bed with, my chiseled, snarly, supernova-hot boss.
And that might just be the hardest part of the job.
A Grumpy Boss Romance is a full-length, steamy workplace romance with a Happily Ever After!
This was a great read full of humor and a plot that keeps the reader engaged. I loved the dual point of view, it gave a great look into what the characters were going though and how they felt about the situations. I loved the banter between the characters and how they fed off of each other. It was a great read.
Five out of five stars.

Meeting Kathryn almost made me DNF the book. Total "Cruel Intentions" vibe from the beginning and the name Kathryn Mathis/ Kathryn Merteuil... Kept thinking it can't be that obvious, can it?! Still I sorta liked Callie and Hunter so kept at it. Liked the dynamic between the two, although I didn't really get the chemistry and the smutty bits seemed more like a direct performance than steamy passion. The conclusion felt way too fairytale-like and was really quite ridiculous.
As for the writing itself there were a lot of typos and weird ones, too, not the usual dropping a letter, hitting one key over by accident... but complete misspellings, gibberish words, etc. And don't get me started on the timekeeping. Complete mess. Like on Friday someone referred to Monday as yesterday. 1 week was referred to as a couple of weeks repeatedly and so on. Random time jumps without any warning or explanation either. Very confusing and distracting too, cause it had me questioning my memory every time and led to me trying to backtrace and figure out what happened, what I missed...
I Loved this book, It was so engaging that I just had to keep reading, with all the drama Callie was causing I just couldn't put the book down. Now Hunter, was pushed to the limit. Trying to run the family business and wants to save it. Only he doesn't realise is, his sister Kathryn is plotting to sell the company from under him. Now Callie gets hired by Kathryn to keep Hunter to distracted enough that he doesn't notice what she is going. Only the sister did not think Callie would actually do any work, but she does and helps Hunter find out what's going on, but did they find out in time. Its a great back and fourth between Callie and Hunter but do they make the best team in the end. The chemistry is smoking. It's a great read and was well written. Defiantly a book worth a read its this one. Highly recommend
Office Grumpiness at its Best! This was a comedic office romance that kept me reading until I finished the book. The writing was excellent with the dialogue between the protagonists, Callie and Hunter being funny, sarcastic, and sexy. Their was good camaraderie between Callie and her two roommates. Even the antagonist, Kathryn, Hunter’s sister who wanted to sell the company in a sneaky way, was likable. The storyline flowed so well that I just kept reading until the end. I’m definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and satisfaction. PEACE.

Excellent with lots of humor and good dialogs. I loved the characters of Callie and Hunter. Callie is out of work after meeting Hunter, who doesn't have much of a sense of humor. So when Hunter's sister hires her to ruin her brother's life, she has a lot of fun before finding out the real reasons for hiring her. It's a really good hate story that turns into romance, with some really good endearing characters, and a pretty unpredictable plot. It's excellent. Y’all better stop judging my “read” list as the covers of shirtless men keep growing… they’re good books! This book was a easy read and nice little gem. I just hope one day I can find a hot boss, rich would be a bonus. But sadly my career choice doesn’t usually have those types of bosses, maybe I’ll change. Or maybe I’ll go for a walk in NYC and try to find a hot man in a suit with an expensive watch with an black iced French press coffee. Iykyk;)
I loved the characters in this book and how they ended up on the same side. The sister was pretty immature for doing all that but it understandable why. Great ending!
While it was a nice story, I thought Callie was a little brain-damaged. Seriously, the woman acted so immature and it was a little hard to believe some of her stunts.
Hunter is the 25 year old stand in CEO of his dads company. He's super grumpy trying to save the family business his dad (real CEO) walked away from and his old sister (co stand in CEO) doesn't take seriously Callie is 23. The book starts out with the being a bartender. This ie where she meets Mr Grumpy himself and throws a drink in his face, then quits her bartending job. Kathryn (Hunters sister) hires Called to be Hunters "assistant". But really she wants Callie to annoy Hunter and distract him so much her doesn't realize Kathryn has another motive. Callie and Hunter are sarcastic, funny, witty and madly in love by the end of the book. Good read.
