This is my favourite sci-fi series that’s happening right now. The fact that it’s a series of novellas? Even better!
We’re following Krin after events in book one. This one is just as dark and scary. I read it during the night (in the dark) and I got a little spooked at some parts. Chris Corly is such a talented writer. Highly recommend checking out this series.

I received an ARC of this novella in exchange for an honest review.

This is not my go-to genre so the fact that I am all in on this series means something. I really enjoyed this sequel to Well of Terror. The world building Corly does in such a short amount of pages is pretty incredible and the action leaves you with visceral response. You can feel Krin's fear and smell the blood and guts. It's really well done and I can't wait for the 3rd installment!

The Denrow System series should be made into a sci-fi films! Chris has a way with characters - they’re all awesome, believable, lovable, so really hateable! And so very, very human. Need the 3rd book!
