Through a collection of poetry, thoughts and words, this poet has effectively and bravely bared her soul. Emotions are raw and honest , and her poetry themes are sensitive and traumatic situations such as abuse , toxic relationships and loss- with reference to mental health issues from the very start.

Such bravery and courage to acknowledge and face these things with honest and freedom of speech is such an amazing achievement. There will be others that will relate to these situations and feelings and may take comfort and reassurance through these poems.
Thankyou Alexis Behrmann for sharing your writing talents in such a personal and profound collection of poetry.

Untreated by is a beautifully written book of raw and deeply profound poetry. The author has taken very traumatic life events such as abuse, loss, and toxic relationships and honestly expressed her deepest emotions in coping and processing each. This is definitely a book that is relatable for many.

I don't pretend to be an expert on poetry, but this book moved me. It told the real-life story of trauma, pain, resilience, and overcoming. Of finding love despite never being shown it. Alexis' poems are often very short, but are always written with care. Every word means something and settles deep in your soul. A short read, but one that will stick with me.
