Vamos con uno de los últimos BL de los que no esperaba nada y ha pasado a mi top de lecturas del género en lo que va de año.

Tenemos a Toru, uno de los hosts más reputados de Kabukicho gracias a su belleza y al don especial que tiene: puede leer la mente de aquellos a los que mira a los ojos. Un don que al principio es más bien una maldición para alguien tan puro como él.

Pero Toru guarda otro secreto: es muy, pero que muy, fan de Mizuki, el modelo que está en boca de todos desde hace tres años. Un secreto que guarda con recelo para que nadie descubra que le gustan los hombres. Hasta que un buen día se da de bruces con el modelo y este entra en su vida. Lo que no espera Toru es todo lo que esconde ese rostro angelical. Y es que Mizuki es un amo que disfruta de las relaciones SM. Le gusta infligir dolor y controlarlo todo. Más que un fetiche, es su forma de ser. Lo disfruta y le entristece que los demás lo vean como a un pervertido degenerado. Así que se cuida de sincerarse con sus posibles parejas, del mismo modo que se cuida de enamorarse.

Me he encontrado con una historia rebonita, supersexi, con personajes aún más bonitos si cabe, llena de escenas 🔥 (censuradas, eso sí 😭), donde ahondan en el SM y lo hacen de una manera tierna y con buen gusto. Aquí hay dos chicos que disfrutan del sexo y del juego en todo momento. Hay comunicación, consentimiento, comprensión y cariño.

Aunque al principio sea Mizuki el que arrastre un poco a Toru hacia su terrero, este último acaba abriéndose a un abanico de posibilidades. Para su sorpresa, no solo disfruta del mundo que Mizuki le presenta; también acaba fantaseando y deseando explorar más.

Si os gusta el género, 100% recomendado ❤️

I received this one as a recommendation from someone i consider as an excellent example of good taste and it didn't disappoint. I haven't read a manga with this type of plot and i really liked how it made me understand certain things i didn't know before... Also the art is quite good and the fact that Toru has a special ability is very unique. Of course one of the main things i enjoyed the most was the level of consent and respect the main couple has for each other.

I have some hang ups* but over all this was a surprisingly healthy, mutually consensual, green flag S&M relationship. Tooru is so adorable and I can see why Mizuki wants to muss him up. The art is gorgeous too, very expressive and lewd without being p0rny. I particularly enjoyed the shibari/rope aspects!


*Their relationship moves really fast, I mean they went on two dates and then a chance encounter led to them going into BDSM full speed ahead, including being collared. It was too much too fast, esp when other stuff was done well and respectfully. Then not even a week of them together and Mizuki is asking Tooru to stop hosting and move in with him permanently. He makes unreasonable requests and demands and then beats himself up about it mentally because he knows it’s wrong but then Tooru goes into fix it mode due to the mind reading, assuring Mizuki everything is alright and he’s happy to do the unreasonable things. 😑 What’s worse is when he *doesnt* feel guilty, for example when he knows that Tooru doesn’t like pain but still pierces his nipples and then admits as much. But being Mizuki’s biggest fan, he doesn’t even get proportionately mad about it.

Non sono riuscita ad apprezzarlo come avrei voluto. Nonostante mi siano piaciuti molto i disegni la storia... mi ha abbastanza annoiata.
Tooru è l'host più richiesto di Kabuki-cho. Ha il dono di leggere la mente delle persone e questa sua particolarità gli ha permesso di farsi strada nel suo ambiente. La sua unica ossessione è il modello Mizuki Hikawa per cui Tooru ha una cotta pazzesca. Gli piace moltissimo il suo aspetto fisico e il fatto che sembri una persona dolce e gentile. Un giorno lo incontra per caso e rimaste... colpito dai pensieri del suo idolo. L'uomo infatti ha dei pensieri molto piccanti, desidera legare il proprio partner e sottometterlo in tutti i sensi e Tooru... decide di approfittare della situazione. Inutile dire che i due diventano amanti in tempo zero, senza quasi conoscersi e tutto si sposta sul lato sessuale. Non ho trovato un legame emotivo tra i due e nonostante il rapporto sessuale e Bdsm sia caratterizzato dal consenso da entrambe le parti mi è sembrato fin troppo vuoto... privo di quei sentimenti di amore e affetto che dovrebbe esserci in una coppia. Mi è sembrato quasi che i due si accontentassero del compagno per puro interesse. Tooru può andare a letto con il suo super idolo e Mizuki ha la possibilità di sfogare i suoi istinti senza venir giudicato e rischiare di finire sulle pagine dei giornali. Insomma... a chi cerca una storia puramente sessuale e senza troppo coinvolgimento può andare bene. Le scene erotiche sono ben strutturate e i disegni ben fatti ma oltre questo... non c'è molto. Se cercate un lento avvicinamento tra i due, un'evoluzione positiva beh... passate oltre. Al contrario del secondo volume (che finalmente mette in campo qualcosa di importante, forgiando un vero legame tra i due protagonisti) questo è pura fuffa. Consigliato solo a chi ama il genere erotico e solo a chi vuole una lettura senza troppo impegno.

Ho comprato l’edizione italiana e l’ho riletto, e sebbene non siano proprio 5⭐️ piene (preferisco leggere i manga in formato digitale quindi mi sono trovata un po’ scomoda con il cartaceo), continua a rimanere uno dei miei preferiti. Riconfermo assolutamente la recensione precedente e se possibile…l’ho trovato ancora più erotico! Leggerlo in italiano fa tutt’altro effetto🥵

È un BL a tema BDSM...ed è veramente erotico! Non sono molte le scene di sadomaso, ma il modo in cui viene spiegato e il modo in cui viene trattato credo sia uno dei migliori. Non è una relazione tossica, tutto è consensuale e vengono rispettate le regole. I disegni e i personaggi poi sono così strabilianti, cosa aspettate a leggerlo? Tenete conto che c’è anche un secondo volume, non vedo l’ora!😋😋😋

O que acontece quando quando alguém com capacidade de ler as mentes apanha os teus pensamentos mais pervertidos? Tooru Miyama é um host que trabalha no bairro mais famoso de Shinjiku, Kabukicho. Ele possui dois segredos: o primeiro é que ele consegue ler as mentes das pessoas se fizer contacto visual, o que lhe dá uma grande vantagem na sua linha de trabalho, já que sabe sempre o que os seus clientes querem ouvir; o segundo, é que ele tem uma grande obsessão por Mizuki Hikawa, um modelo. Num dia de calor extremo, os seus caminhos cruzam-se por acaso, levando à descoberta de um mundo totalmente novo.

Kabukicho bad trip é um mangá extremamente curtinho, pelo que o desenvolvimento tanto da história quanto das personagens pode ser visto como um pouco raso - e de certa forma, o é. No entanto, os poucos capítulos que compõem este primeiro volume são suficientes para nos dar mais ou menos um gostinho da história. O que mais impressiona em Kabukicho bad trip é a representação de BDSM. Sim, BDSM, aquele das Cinquenta Sombras de Grey. Ao contrário do que normalmente é representado na mídia em geral, este mangá proporciona-nos uma visão completamente diferente de BDSM, uma que se atém mais o significado espiritual deste estilo de vida do que propriamente o prazer puramente físico. A forma como Nagisa o descreve, este estilo de vida trata-se mais de confiar no nosso parceiro, ao ponto de entregarmos voluntariamente o controlo da situação (seja a nível físico, seja nível mental) durante a relação sexual.

O facto do mangá ser tão curtinho apenas me deixa curiosa que rumo a história tomaria se tivesse uma duração maior. As personagens são bastante cativantes, sendo possível notar algumas nuances nas mesmas. Se o mangá tivesse mais volumes, as personagens poderiam ser muito mais desenvolvidas. Ainda assim, o que recebemos de Nagisa já é bastante interessante.

Não se enganem: Kabukicho bad trip é um mangá maduro com cenas de sexo explícito, pelo que não é recomendável para pessoas com menos de 18 anos.

Gorgeous art, but the build-up to their relationship leaves a lot to be desired - getting into a 24/7 lifestyle S&M relationship is a more extreme commitment than you'd believe based on how fluffy this is, and I actually found the dynamic between Toru and Mizuki to be so unbalanced that it was a red flag. All the "we love a consenting adult" reviews... I agree that's the tone the book was attempting to strike, but how exactly can Toru consent to something he doesn't even understand? With a celebrity who is using his trauma to groom a guy who is obsessed with him into a BDSM relationship? I think I almost prefer good, honest noncon!

But I'd read a second volume, if I could get my hands on it. Like I said: Gorgeous art.

BL entre un host que té l'habilitat de llegir els pensaments de la gent i és fan d'un model i el model, que coincideixen per atzar, a qui li agrada el rol de dominant en el BDSM. El petit detall de fantasia li dona molt de joc a la trama, però en aquest 1r volum s'explora poc el món BDSM i se centra més en la dominació i els rols de dom (master) i sub. La relació va de zero a cent i no compro la mitja justificació que es fa de "com que tinc aquestes tendències, sempre m'han deixat i estic més sol que un mussol"... al host li toca fer de sub, però no tolera el dolor, però llavors ho accepta tot a cegues perquè s'ha enamorat: com s'entén, això? Entretinguda, però amb llacunes en la història.

This was short, the leads were cute, and the art is gorgeous.

Random find while reading other things. Went into it not totally knowing what it was going to focus on. The BDSM stuff's not my thing in the sense that I don't look for it intentionally if I'm looking for a new adult read, but it wasn't really anything that wild. It was also--I'm assuming--a good representation of that community, as actual abuse is often just labelled BDSM, which is not okay.

Always nice to find a cute, short BL where the leads communicate and everything is consensual. I drop a lot of BL/yaoi over consent issues.

This manga was a fun read over all. I did enjoy the characters and their interaction. I was not prepared for it to be about BDSM, which was interesting turn, maybe a fair warning next time. The pairing was fun and had me laughing at times and I enjoyed there desire for each other, but the real down part for me was all happened to fast and short. The story felt rushed and things should have take a but more time to get to that point of trying BDSM, especially since it became the main focus of the story for them. I wish the focus was more on them and his abilities and learning if he even liked the BDSM or doing it for his lover. It was over all very interesting but not great.

De lo mejorcito que se puede leer si os gusta el bl erótico y con representación buena del BDSM. Aquí es todo muy introductorio, pero se explica lo básico y de la forma correcta y no como si fuera algo malo o de gente que solo le gusta hacer daño. Para nada. Super recomendable.
