The Realm of Truths and Shadows
Ilya is about to leave for college. Her mind is occupied with restless thoughts and immense sadness. Just when she thought her life couldn't get worse, the only person she could talk to freely, who knew her more than she knew herself, her best friend- possibly more- goes missing. Now in college, she is still trying hard to investigate her best friend's disappearance. A sudden visit from a stranger leads to her tumbling head-first into a new world, a new adventure and new mysteries. In this world, inhabited by humans and creatures, it is possible to buy time, but a recent decree has outlawed it. But don't rules just encourage people to find new ways to break them? Illya enters the realm at a time where demon attacks are at an unusual high, important guards are going missing, and death and darkness is spreading. . Tracing the paths of fantasy fiction with a decent mystery, the realm of truths and shadows shares a mystery function with a lot of fantasy creatures world(realm), and much more.
. The story begins with a central character ilaya, a teenage girl in her college days, the age ke friends and exploration. Dealing with various life situations, ilaya founds something weird about her friend Trisha along with others, something mysterious and strange. As we move with the riddle with Ilaya we found ourselves curious about the mystery. The story takes many twists & turns, ups, and downs with various creatures and dark secrets but at last, a long-lasting amusement exists.
. Discussing the thematic approach, the book is fantastic. If our flavor is mystery and fantasy, this book can take you to the next level of excitement with its content. The world author created, the creatures, and the connection of various landmarks are beautifully portrayed. Along with these, we can find a pretty feeling of a teenager, friendship, and curiosity with courage. Conclusively it is perfect.
. As far as the language and plot are concerned, they are engaging and reader-friendly. Overall the book is good for all age groups fantasy lovers.

The Realms of Truths and Shadows as the title hints is a fantasy fiction. The story revolves around Illaya Burton an eighteen year old, fresher at the Sherwood Community College. Owing to her constant headache and vision problems, she visits an eye clinic where she meets her school friend Trisha. She noticed an old man staring at her along with Trisha's strange behaviour. Later that day Trisha goes missing which shocks Illaya. There begins her quest along with Treyton, to find the secret surrounding the mysterious disappearance of Trisha . Does Illaya successfully find her? Who is Treyton? Does he have a role to play in the mystery? Read the book to know more...
The book is divided into 3 parts. As Illaya proceeds in her mission, she finds herself in different realms that not just surprises her but also unfolds various secrets. The readers are taken to a fantasy world where we get to meet demons and magical characters. The author has included some twists to maintain the suspense.
Though the detailed description gave a clear picture of what was happening, it felt repetitive for me. Also a bigger font size would have made it easy to read.
The book has good narration, gripping plot, well placed characters and has been written in simple language. Overall a good read for fantasy lovers....

🍁We all have loved and admired fantasy books and movies all through our lives..I mean who doesn't love Harry Potter?? This book is also a fantasy fiction which takes you to an imaginary world of devils and demons. You would feel as watching a movie while reading the book.The twists and turns will make you want to flip the pages to know about next turn of events.
🍁Illya has turned 18 and is all ready to step into a new beginning of her life ..her "college". Before going to college she went for a routine clinic visit at her eye clinic and there she met her best friend Trisha who had joined the clinic as a job. There was something strange that Illya noticed in Trisha's behaviour that day but didn't get the chance to know what it is. She also noticed some unusual things even at the hospital.
🍁Illya's mother had arranged a farewell party for her and on the same night ..she gets to know that Trisha is missing. This was the biggest shock of her life as Trisha meant the world to her. She immediately went her home to know what happened and instantly decides that Even after going to college "Finding Trisha"would be her mission. In her college, she met "Treyton" who is a mysterious character as he knows about Trisha and offers his help to Illya to find Trisha.
🍁It's a really interesting book especially for children and even for people who love this genre. However at some points I felt that events were being exaggerated but on the whole I enjoyed the book. It's a perfect book for your long train journeys!!

'The Realm of Truths and Shadows' by Divya Vijay is a book that revolves around Illya who is about to leave for college. Illya has a peculiar eye problem for which she is constantly visiting 'Sherwood Eye Hospital' alongwith her mother where she finds that her best friend Trisha has joined recently. Illya had just turned 18 and her mother had arranged a birthday party for her when she receives a call that her best friend has disappeared. The news was a shock for her and the fact that she has to leave for her college in a few days leaves her heartbroken. But she is determined to go at any length and find the mystery behind the sudden disappearance. Where did Trisha go? Who or what is the mystery behind the sudden disappearance behind Trisha? My Thoughts:
The plot is interesting. However, the initial few pages might be a bit confusing and a bit lengthy. As the book proceeds it gets more interesting and I must say the world building is done nicely.
Characters are well developed. I liked Illya she is a friend who can go to any length for her friend and face anything that comes in front of her. Each character is contributing to the story and has an essential role to play.
Language is simple and lucid. The world building is very interesting and well researched by the author. The book cover is also interesting and will sure make the readers curious. The name of the book is also apt to the plot.
Overall, it was a nice read and I think anyone who likes reading fantasy novel will enjoy it.

This is a fantasy novel with Illya Burton as the central character who is on the brink of starting her college education. On her visit to the eye clinic for the recurrent headaches and eye problems, she notices some strange things but brushes them aside as she catches up with her BFF Trisha. She suspects Trisha of hiding something from her but decides to ask later or wait for her to tell it. Later that day she learns that Trisha is missing! Her mission now turns into finding Trisha. She meets Treyton who helps in her quest to find the whereabouts of Trisha.
Then comes a set of characters as they travel through the fantasy land or rather enter another realm where everything is not nice and rosy! Does Ilya find Trisha’s whereabouts? Who is Trisha? And what happens, in the end, is what you will find out when you read the book.
The story started slowly and picked up a little after Treyton entered the storyline. I found the story to be too lengthy and in some places repetitive. These could have been cut short to make the story crisp and interesting.
The cover gives us the fantasy 'feel' and it’s apt for this genre. If you love the fantasy/dark world kinda genre, you will like this one too.

The Realms of Truths and Shadows is a fantasy and fiction genre story divided in 3 parts. The book is about 8 year old Illaya Burton who is staring her college education at Sherwood Community College.
Story gets interesting when she visits to the eye clinic for her constant headaches and eye problems, she notices some strange things about the place but ignorant to them as she met with her friend Trisha. She noticed an old man staring at her. Later that day Trisha goes missing which shocks Illaya Burton, she starts her mission is finding the missing Trisha with help of Treyton. As the mission progress she unwraps many secrets surrounded her and finds herself in different realms which made her astonishing and finds out the new realm she is in is quite unusual.

It is a beautiful book with fantasy touch to it. About demons, time changer and more.
Illya is on a search for her best friend Trisha who goes missing one fine day without anyone knowing. She is into a place where she doesn't know who she was and about her past life. She has to do a task and that is all she knows.
Illya finds Treyton or the other way round actually. He talks about how Illya is in danger and she needs to leave her house, her place everything.
The questions that arises are: will Illya trust Treyton?
What will happen to her search for her best friend Trisha. Will they meet again? What will happen to Illya. What does life has in store for Trisha?
The ending seemed abrupt to me. It left me with a feeling that there was something missing and there could have been more.
Overall it was a good book.

Do you also get thrilled by plots of dimensions, realms, magic and so on?
As the name of this book suggests, the plot of this book unfolds the mystery of missing persons and suddenly found herself (protagonist) in different realms, where she was actually meant to be.
Storyline is entangled with a theory of powerful kids born to ordinary people or if not born then foster. While reading the plot made me feel like reading Harry Potter or any Superhero story, who were not aware of their powers and were destined to become something. It is a thick read that needs time to absorb everything. Because Author has left subtle messages in story which I felt hard to decode. (If there is really subtle message)
Altogether, a plotline worth reading. Some Secrets are always worth it in the end.

The book cover and the title of the book are intriguing. This book is all about the story of a girl who is in search of her friend and the adventures she has about to conquer.
Really, I am impressed by reading this book. Because the author has mixed pure friendship with a fantasy touch. The sequence where Illya is left puzzled by the disappearance of her beloved friend Trisha is contagious.
However, the character Treyton's contribution to this story aids the plot. The language is rational. The characteristics are overhauled in the relationship.
The climax of the story frame should have been somewhat illuminating, I feel. Overall, I enjoyed the read.
