Lots of good information if you’re just dipping your toe into the science of reading. I liked how much of the research included was very recent. The formatting of the book seemed off - text and pictures on some pages was awkward.
Great book if you're new or newish to the science of reading! If you've already done a deep dive (I.e. if you've taken LETRS) this will be review! A few good instructional swaps you can implement immediately in classrooms. Would be a good book study for a group of teachers or district new to the science of reading.
You will find this book useful if you've never had any training related to the science of reading. I did find a couple of references related to morphology useful.
