Jessica Sorensen is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author from the snowy mountains of Wyoming. When she's not writing, she spends her time reading and hanging out with her family.
Who...who told Ms. Sorensen to write this abomination of a book. Why did you destroy a perfect series with a perfect ending. I so was excited to read it, because it was made in 2021 it could be like updating, include more things I would know about but no. She had to have written this when she was delirious because Kayden and Callie were so freaking annoying, and not themselves because they were written so flipping bad. Why the character personality switch. I really hope we weren't going for character development because Callie in this book was horrible. Shoot, I would have left too. And I don't have enough words to describe Kayden in this review. Why, why did you do this. The series ended bountifully and then we got Seth's love story and that was good enough but no. You had to go above and beyond to give us this piece of crap. So um thanks. Appreciate it.
I have no words for what a confusing dumpster fire this novella ended being.
It seems like the author wanted to undo all the progress throughout the earlier books for the sake of drama/conflict and continuing on the series.
I haven’t seen this bad of character assassinations since A Court of Mist and Fury. Kayden has always held a high spot on my list of book boyfriends, but there’s NOTHING that can excuse bailing on Callie…AGAIN!
If you are or were attached to the story of Callie and Kayden like I was, save yourself the pain and don’t read this novella.
Am I that transparent? Can everyone see who I am all the way through? If they can, can they whisper it to me? Because I sure as hell don’t know the answer of who I am right now.
