I really liked this story. What a pity we had that scene in ch1, because for that reason I can't rate this 5 stars.

“It’s got foxes,” I said to myself, “and wolves, and arranged marriages. So you can find something you like, right?”
I was wrong.
● Weak world-building. It’s hard to build a world in one volume, but you could at least make it not confusing.
The setting started out with Meiji Restoration Era vibes with people wearing kimonos (the fox people) contrasting against people in more Western military gear (the wolf people). But by the end it was like, “Where the fuck are they?” They’re dragging suitcases and wearing more modern style suits (granted, people in the Meiji Restoration Era probably wore suits). Did they go to Western People Island?
● I don’t get if there’s a big deal if there’s humans involved? Are the beast-people trying to hide from humans? I don’t think so, right? Then why does the island that the protags are in seem so archaic? Are they really so far from everyone that no trading from outsiders occurs? HOW CAN IT BE WHEN Y’ALL ARE WEARING ALL SORTS OF DIFFERENT CLOTHES??
● Why didn’t anyone get any comeuppance. Like that idiot brother who absolutely sent whatsisface to his death, knowingly? (Also what is with that fucking flimsy-ass cage they put the other whatsisface in. Why even have a cage or bars if it’s just going to fall apart the minute anyone glares hard at it?? That’s just a symbolic cage. Might as well just have put him in the cave, minus the bars, then we could have saved resources.)
● Speaking of convenient excuses, the MOM was like “oh, I forgot where the island was, so that’s why I took a million years to come home! Teehee!” Like … nnnnnnahhh. But OTOH, can you blame her? Her husband sucks. I wouldn’t’ve come home either.
● What the hell, why did they even come back to the island? Are their presences really needed? Y’all don’t need to be there for whatever negotiations will be happening, do you? Why did you come back??

之前看过前两话，实在睡不着又翻出来补完了… 有句话不知当讲不当讲，攻长得有点像八木迪之啊（不是）人外故事狼x狐，美还是挺美的，就是故事讲得像中学标准课文一样正能量到无聊……

Honestly… I didn’t like the art much at all. The start was jarring and weird. I had sympathy for Hinata but little for Kyouya, and I never became endeared much to either. It was hard to see the romance with all the negative stuff framing it. Like the sex scenes that were clearly under duress and unwell mental health.
I felt there wasn’t enough build up of who these characters are and their world for me to become invested in the story. There was an overall positive theme about exclusion versus not, about finding belonging in each other, and the pretty visions on the beach. It was just hard to get into it.
There is a turn around with chapter 4 (of 6, mind you), when we get to the climax I guess. It doesn’t make up for the issues it had but I found some panels pretty stunning here. It’s just when a story is only six chapters and half of two are dedicated to flashbacks, you can’t really establish romance or anything?? IDK, man.

In the mood for a supernatural, angsty romance between a fox and a wolf? Check out Teo Akihisa’s masterpiece, The Beast’s Bride.
Overall thoughts
I had no idea what to expect when I started this manga because I didn’t even read the summary. But wow, what a ride! This reads like a slow burn in the first chapters. It has drama, fluff, spice, and a conclusion to the main points of the plot.
Together, the protagonists learn about acceptance, the meaning of a loving home, and how to become the best supportive partner you can be. Even when things aren't as smooth of a ride as they'd prefer. So, if you’re in the mood for a drama with an angsty romance and are into the beast men trope, this is a really enjoyable read. Of course, your mileage may vary, but I loved it!

La verdad me pareció muy lindo, me gustaron todos los personajes, una historia bastante linda.
Hinata y Kyouya son iguales a pesar de ser de diferentes especies y eso hace que su relación sea tan especial, ya que se entienden, se apoyan y enfrentan el mundo unidos.
Me gustó el dibujo. No le doy 5 estrellas porque hubo algo que no me terminó de fascinar, sin embargo lo leí rápido porque no quería dejar de leer y eso significa que me gusto mucho.

Kemonomimi really isn't my thing. The artwork in this manga is pretty beautiful, but that's not enough to make me like it. The story has a lot of plot holes and the execution is lacking, so it just doesn't click with me.

Este manga lo encontré recomendado por tiktok y, como llevo unos días con insomnio, decidí darle una oportunidad y ver que era lo que me encontraba. No oro, desde luego, pero si una historia que puede llegar a ser disfrutona y entrañable.
La historia nos sitúa en un presente alternativo, donde humanos y bestias conviven malos términos. Los animales cambiaron su fisonomía para asemejarse a un humano, pero ellos los expulsaron porque todavía conservaban parte de su naturaleza animal. Es así como terminamos siguiendo a Hinata un hombre zorro y a Kyouya, el segundo hijo del clan de los lobos. Para conseguir la paz entre ambos clanes, los zorros ofrecen a una de sus mujeres con el fin de que se despose con Kyouya, hasta que la noche de bodas descubre la verdad.
Sinceramente no sabía que era lo que iba a encontrarme, pero al final ha sido una historia que me ha gustado mucho, especialmente por su arte. La trama en si no es nada que no haya leído antes, pero sí se hace disfrutona y entrañable. Hinata es todo lo bonito de este mundo y no admito discusión alguna, sin embargo la trama que tiene Kyouya... esta, simplemente, bien. El final no era algo que me esperase, lo cual puede ser buena señal, salvo porque, en este caso, fue una salida por la tangente por parte del autore.
En definitiva, la obra no es la divina papaya, pero te deja el corazoncito calentito y las escenas spicy son una delicia visual.

This is a pretty good story excluding the rape scenes. (I hate that it seems to be a common thing to throw into romance stories between the MCs and things are still supposed to be happy ever after).
That ^ aside, I like the two MCs. Wolf is very understanding, loving, and open. He knows that his 'wife' isn't happy, and does what he can to make Fox happy and want their relationship. They've both been labeled and seek acceptance from others. The difference is that Wolf had the love from his family, even if his dad was a bit of a tool. Fox eventually falls in love with Wolf and won't leave him even when it's clear that it would mean his life if he stays.
I love that it had a happy ending.

The nine-tailed fox beast, Hinata is forced into a marriage for the sake of claimed peace between the fox and wolf tribes. Being shunned for his unique feature and taught to do what is told, he attempts to take Kyouya's life. Being captured and forced to seal their bond of marriage, things are anything but simple for these two. Despite their differences Kyouya is determined to make his new wife happy, but he is hiding his own dark secrets.
This was an amazing read and I adored the artwork. I felt for these two immensely and was sad to see it all come to a close.

Me gusto mucho, la verdad la historia es bastante buena excluyendo las escenas de violación en el primer capitulo. Aparte de eso, me gustan los dos personaje. El lobo es muy cariñoso y abierto, y algo que ame es que quiere que su esposa sea feliz ya que ambos han sido etiquetados como mounstros y buscan la aceptación de los demás.
Me encanta que haya tenido un final feliz.

In the first chapter there is a rape scene and I don't understand the need to continue putting those kinds of scenes to start a story. Leaving that aside, I really liked this manga. The story is very good and the characters and their relationship as well. I don't get mad if the author decides to give us more of this world and the two of them.

Es el romance entre bestias más sweet!!! La forma como se van acercando y todo el background que tienen es perfecto! Si lo tocan superficialmente pero para ser un solo volumen lo hacen lo suficiente. Me quedé con ganas de más!!!

3.5 maybe. This started out strong with the parallels of being a monster and an outcast but the ending really took it away for me. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought the ending and the rest of the story were from different stories.
