After a traumatic experience, Joron can’t talk to his dragon. Can his mate help them heal old wounds?
After being exiled from Cairnnor, a traumatic event leaves Joron unable to directly communicate with his dragon. But his problems don’t stop there. He’s also lost his treasure, and his sister is missing. Unfortunately, he has no memories of exactly what happened, and if his dragon does, he is keeping them to himself. When the old dragon lord is defeated and Joron returns home, he hopes that he might heal. And finally, remember the terrible events that robbed him of his sister and his treasure.
But so far, that’s not happening.
So when he’s asked to go to Wishing Moon Bay, as a member of the dragon guard stationed there, he agrees. Perhaps a complete change might do him good. And if not, he’ll throw himself into his career and help keep other people safe from harm.
Then he meets Dove. She’s an expert on helping animals heal. She also happens to be his mate. Surely fate has brought them together for a reason.
Dove loves the farm she grew up on. She manages it alone which can be tough. Especially where finances are concerned. When she has the idea to rent out a couple of her spare rooms, she doesn’t expect her new lodger to be a dragon shifter who says she’s, his mate.
She instantly warms to Joron, who is scarred from his past. When he tells her he and his dragon don’t talk, she knows she has to help them heal.
However, before they have a chance to get to know each other, Joron’s memories are partially uncovered by a vampire named Silas. This sets in motion a chain of events that leads them into danger, but it might just be the catalyst Joron and his dragon need to finally get them talking again.
Or it might end in disaster as Joron faces a ghost from the past.
Harmony Raines loves to write romance filled with magic and love. Her men are usually not so alpha, but they know how to treat their fated mates, or alien lovers well.

I love Wishing Moon Bay. This world is so fully realized and completely different from any other shifter world I have read. The Dragon Guards from Cairnnor have added 2 more to Wishing Moon Bay, Joron and Cayde who are best friends. When they arrive, Joron meets Dove and instantly knows he has met his mate. But this is bittersweet, because he has been separated from communicating with his dragon for quite a while. This means he feels alone in a joy that should be shared. But Dove heals animals so maybe she is meant to heal Joron and his dragon. Read this to see if she can do this.
The pace is breakneck and the tone is hopeful with a character oriented storyline that has some action and some steamy scenes that aren't overly detailed. The characters are vibrant and engaging. You can read this story on its own but you will get so much more from it if you read The Bond of Brothers series in order first and then this series in order. The world building is phenomenal and each story builds on the next. If you like your shifter romances with a complex world, fascinating characters and some action, then this series is for you. Enjoy!
Very enjoyable and I loved Dove and her animals and farm. Slows down in places but overall is a good read. It is nice to get another HEA from the misery of Argothorn’s nasty legacy. But Joran’s go it alone attitude became irksome after a while and a couple of things felt to me that they needed more explanation. Why does Cayde feel guilt?, he did everything he could to help Joran. Was the Shaman really the first or a true vampire? Why is Quella living on Panjara when she has to hide what she is? Why didn’t Thomil take his mate to Wishing Moon Bay to live? Cayde’s story is next which is great but I really want Silas to get his HEA too. He has done so much that is unrecognised. Read through Kindle Unlimited but I recommend reading the previous books to understand this world and what happens.
I really have enjoyed this series. There is more of an adventure to them which I habe enjoyed. I liked the trip that they took to find his dragon, sister and treasure. I have always liked Silas and this book made me like him even more. Sure he has his own agenda that he doesn't share but deep down I think he likes helping others. The ending of the book is just so sweet. I hope we get to the Chiefs wedding soon because he needs to be married already! Its a good series and a good story. Helps to understand if u read the series but really this is ok to be read alone. Well done Harmony!
Joron has been exiled from Cairnnor & is forced to take his sister with him. After an attack, his dragon is injured and not communicating with him, he has also lost his sister & his treasure. Dove is looking for boarders on her farm to help pay bills, she is introduced to Joron & Cayde who are part of the Dragon Guard on Wishing Moon Bay. As a witch, she has a special ability to help those suffering and in need, can she help Joron find all he has lost, especially since he is her mate? They must embark on an epic journey with Cayde & Silas, searching the entire protected world. This is an adventure you don't want to miss out on! This series just seems to get better with each story!
Joron and Dove's story was great. ..full of love, and mystery. Joron has lost his connection with his dragon, his memory of a tragic injury and disappearance of his sister. With Dove's ( a witch) help & support he solves these problems. Add the vampire Silas to the equation and an exciting story unfolds. Recommended read. Looking forward to the next in series of Wishing Moon Bay.
Joron is moving to Wishing Moon Bay to work with the police. Dove owns a farm and stops in town to see about renting out some rooms in her house. When they met, Joron knows they are mates! Can they get past their pasts to have a future together? Will Dove be able to heal Joron so that he can reconnect with his dragon?
A great addition to the series. I'm glad Joron found his mate in Dove and also reconnected with his dragon. I can't wait for Cayde's story next. I would recommend this story to any reader who enjoys sexy shifter romances.
Joron and Dove find each other just when they need each other most. There's never a dull moment in their healing and adventure to fully heal Joron and his dragon. Lots of action and suspense. I really enjoyed this book.
Joran takes a new job where he meets Dove his mate. She helps him retrace he steps in the past to find out why he can't speak to his dragon..the embark on a journey of answers with a couple of friends we have met before.
Perfect ending with more to come. This adult read had a great mystery, characters and strengths, when you lose your memories who are you going to lean on, but your mate, Silias and freinds. To follow you on an adveture to recoup your dragon. Awesomeness
The Zoe that wrote all these wishing moon bay stories just gets better all the time! Great character development..you really get attached to the characters and become invested in their story..this one has all the feels of coup! Keep up the great stories, Zoe!
I read Silas story 1st so it was interesting to hear about the knife and the surrounding story. It was touch and go there I wasn't sure this would be a happy ending for all. Great series. I'm looking forward to the next one.
I love the adventure and the romance even the sadness pulled it all together I can't wait to the rest of the series is done I hope you have many many more books to the series
Thoroughly enjoyed reading Dove & Joron's story very much. I love reading a happy ever after story it makes my day. Thank you for writing this story. Waiting for the next book.
Book three of this spin off series I love it when silos is in it.(you can just feel his lonely he is) this book is about finding a losts sister and treasure plus loss memories. I thought the friend would be in secret love with his sister but the story never went there.
The Dragon Shifters Saviour ( Dragon Protectors of Wishing Moon Bay) by Harmony Raines. Joron and Cayde, dragon shifters are sent to Wishing Moon Bay to help the police. Dove offers accommodation and is Jorons mate. Then their off on an adventure.
I love these stories of the Dragon Protectors of Wishing Moon Bay. I really enjoyed Joron and Dove’s story and the outcome of their journey was wonderful
Harmony always has the best thought out stories that come together so well! I never miss any. Each series leaves me wanting more. I wish the stories came closer together.
