There's something Kealin is not being told.
When a soothsayer foretells the fall of the elves that have gone to war, it's up to Kealin and his siblings who refuse to stand by and wait. if they're to save their parents and the lives of their kin they must act. No matter the risk involved.
This one dark choice will see Kealin on a path like none before. A menace within him awakens. It isn't elven magic. It is something else, older and darker. When one tragedy follows another, Kealin must grow and become something else entirely. His ascension begins.

Magic, drama and more.
Kielan journeys through much in efforts to save those he loves, yet too often he sees them die despite his best efforts.

Hard to feel much for the characters especially the rogue elf, you didn’t get to know most of them that well.Too many extra characters added as others killed off. Author seemed to add in different monsters/gods at will to help his story along and add back characters who were supposedly killed. The elf’s background as a half elf allowed the author to add in different talents to get him out of trouble. Books 5 and 6 seemed a bit disjointed and it was hard to follow what was going on . Was glad to be finished though in fact the story continued after book 6!

A very hard read
I have battled my way through this set, and I must say, it is the most difficult readY have ever had.
I persevered with names of characters with some who are difficult to pronounce. Characters who are difficult to picture. Story lines hard to follow.
It is tangent after tangent and completely confusing.
I do recommend this set of books for easy reading.
I have read hundreds of books, but non as difficult and mystifying as this.

Great series of books!
Many have said this is a Great series of stories ,and None have lied. From the first book to the last you are drawn in and bonded to each character. You will face the hardship, betrayals and joys of all. Only wanting more as you read each book. These stories should serve as a guide for all life on this planet, we All are one with each other, and should stand collectively against the Evils of our own world.

A great well written fantasy series!!
I loved these books. The storyline was unique in a fantasy world that was believable with just enough twists and mayhem to delight the reader.
I highly reccommend this series to all those who love Fantasy, action books with great character's and plot line.

God's and Magic
This story is different from what I usually read, full of elves, God's and Magic. The story moves fast, not used to that type of story. There is lots of war and death within these books. Each character was developed well and the books followed these characters. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Gripping saga
The adventures of Kealin and friends continue.
As always from this author, great character interaction, epic battles and a story that keeps you interested, and invested in the characters from beginning to end.
I'll be downloading and starting the next book now.
Highly recommended.

That was a excellent, dark and heavy read
Not going to give away the story but this was dark drama ridden. Lots of battles and excellent read and certainly without fluff and frill that many seem to need to put in their novels these days. I really enjoy this and look forward to reading more around the characters future travels

An absolute pleasure to have all these books in one place. Elves to take you into their world and keep you there for awhile. Stress of the day will be gone once you get involved with the characters.

Couldn’t put it down
I loved that my some of my favorite Stormborn characters were in these series as well. I feel sad about some of the deaths and wished it did not happened.

This boxed set gives good value.
I find it helpful to search for events or characters that are referenced. This epic story line is twisty. Sometimes the prose is confusing.
