All the better to eat you with...

Alpha Aran has always been the biggest of his brothers, the oldest, the most responsible, and therefore, he’s also the one tasked with running the family business, Gruff Construction. It only feels natural to take care of everyone in his life, even some distant relative he barely knows. Sure, he doesn’t mind bringing chicken soup to his foster mother’s estranged father in the middle of the woods… the woods filled with the sound of howling wolves… Nothing weird about that. What he isn’t expecting, though, is finding someone who wants to take care of him for a change.

Omega wolf shifter Oscar has been waiting to meet his match… or rather, his mate. No one in his old pack piqued his interest, and he thought a new pack might offer more enticing options. Except it’s just more of the same. His biological clock is ticking, and it doesn’t help that he’s become the de facto den father, surrounded by everyone else’s babies. For once, he wants to take care of someone he can call his own. However, no one is more surprised than he is when he stumbles on a mouth-watering human stranger in the forest, and he finds himself tempted to take a bite.

Harper B. Cole, Colbie Dunbar, and Trisha Linde bring you Red, the second book in the Fairest Of Them All series. The novel features an alpha who’s overcome enormous hurdles to build a successful career, an omega wolf shifter who is lonely even when surrounded by his pack, a newly formed pack that’s trying to preserve and conserve both their traditions and the environment, a chance meeting with instant chemistry, an unexpected pregnancy, and an HEA despite the odds. If you love stories where opposites attract and when both the alpha and omega are prepared to give everything up to find their happily ever after, grab your copy today.

I love the remaking of our childhood stories this one is Little Red Riding Hood or something close to it 😊Oscar is a wolf shifter who meets his fated mate in a human Aran in the woods of all places, attraction is instant and intense. They do their best to stay away from each other, but fate made that nearly impossible, but the problem is how will Oscar tell Aran that he is a shifter when humans are supposed to know they exist but regardless their relationship seems to continue to grow. As with any relation sometimes there are miscommunications, misunderstandings, and a whole lot of second guessing themselves but when you throw in a well-meaning grumpy grandfather well you have some funny banter but is it enough for these two to work it out, will Aran accept all of him after finding out what he really is, and will they get their very own HEA?

Little Red Riding Hood eat your heart out! This series is so much fun. This is book 2 of the Fairest Of Them All series by Colbie Dunbar, Harper B. Cole, and Trisha Linde. Our two protagonists are Aran, human alpha, and Oscar, wolf shifter omega. Aran has always had to take responsibility for just about everyone and everything...and is totally over it. Oscar loves taking care of others...especially wee ones....but really wants to take care of someone he can call his own....and start a family, and have lots of wolf babies.
The two meet serendipitously when Aran is taking chicken soup, to his grandfather, who lives in the woods. No really. It's a thing. Oscar recognizes Aran as his fated mate but Aran, as a human, does not understand such things. Everyone gets all hormonal and the story goes from there with a warm and fuzzy HEA. The storyline is well-paced and all of the characters...even the secondary ones...are an absolute delight. If you are looking for a book that is ridiculously fun and romantically erotic then put this on your reading list.

Nothing will stop you when you know you’ve met your other half
Alpha Aran runs a big construction company with his two brothers. They had been fostered together their unit as a family was very strong. Their mother had taught them values and morals growing up. So when Aran gets a call from his mother to go and visit her father who none of the boys have ever heard of or even seen Aran is it take him back but he never knew this would change his life forever.
Oscar is an Omega wolf shiter, and he was at a loss lately he took care of the children on the pack. He wanted to find his mate. But when he hears that Patrick had gone in the woods to die he knew he must find him. Patrick isn’t happy but is happy to except the food. Oscar leaves when Patrick makes it clear he wants to be left alone. But in the woods he bumped into a man a human and he smells amazing. Oscar want to be with this man and does everything in his power to make him stay. Aran can’t understand why he doesn’t want to leave why he wants to meet me Oscar but what will you do when he finds out that he is a wolf Shifter???
This was a really enjoyable read. Aran is a good man who will do anything for Oscar. Oscar is a bit excitable. He is so funny. His babbling had me smiling throughout this book This is a very cute read. I’m really enjoying this series and can’t wait for the next book.

Aran is a human alpha who lost his birth family but became part of a found family. A wonderful woman adopted him and the boys who would become his brothers. Aran is the oldest and most responsible. Now the brothers run a construction business together but it seems that all the problems land on Aran and he's getting tired. He has gotten fed up when his mom calls him asking him for a favor. She just got a call from her estranged father saying he was dying. Hi mom has a lot of work committments and feels like her dad is lying but she is still worried. She wants Aran to go check on her father even though he lives in a cabin in the woods. Aran is annoyed at first but then decides it will be a good break. He buy camping equipment and a new red hoodie for his trip through the woods. The trip makes him nervous especially after hearing wolves in the woods like his mother warned him about. When he arrives at his foster grandfather's cabin, he meets Oscar whom he is instantly drawn to. Oscar convinces Aran to stay in town for awhile to check on his grandfather.

Oscar is an omega wolf shifter who loves taking care of the pack's babies. He really wants a babby of his own but has had no luck finding his mate. He he finds Aran a human alpha in the woods, he is very attracted to him. He wants nothing more than to spend time with man in the red hood. Maybe this time the wolf really will take a bite.

This is book 2 in the Fairest of Them All Series and the first book that I have read in this series. I was able to enjoy it without having read the first story but I think you would understand things better if you read the first one first. This is the story of Aran and Oscar. Aran is the oldest brother in their self owned construction company. He is an alpha and loves his adopted mother. When she asks him to check on her estranged father, he agrees to go. Oscar is an omega wolf shifter. He desperately hope to finally meet his fated mate. In the mean time, he runs the packs daycare out of his home. When Aran shows up to see his grandfather, he needs to go through the woods to find him. So Aran picks up a red hoodie to keep him warm as he hikes in. This is the first nod to Little Red Riding Hood in the book. Oscar meets up with a lost Aran in the woods. He knows instantly that Aran is the one for him. So he tells a few white lies to keep him around. Then there is also the problem of Aran not knowing about shifters. There are a few bumps in the road on the way to happiness. This is their story. The book is well written and easy to read. Perfect for curling up in the afternoon for a fun story. A sweet, quick read.

This story begins with both, Aran and Oscar, realizing there is something missing in their lives. Seeing either pack members or siblings extend their families right before their eyes.
Aran has to make an unexpected trip when his mother, Gloria, asks him to go check on her father Patrick.
When he arrives, he knows things aren't what they seem but can't quite put his finger on it. On his way to Patrick's cabin, he runs into Oscar in the woods. From their first interaction, Oscar does everything in his power to keep Aran in Dusk Fall and Bowser. Including some elaborate stretches of truth.
The chemistry is off the charts between them and only continues to grow with each passing day. Oscar has to tell Aran the truth. But will the Alpha be able to handle what he hears and sees?
After finding out the truth, Aran returns to the city but finds it impossible to stay away, and returns to his omega. Only there is a surprise awaiting him.
After quickly moving past their lack of communication, things came together fast for the new family.
Several funny moments, new and old characters with wild personalities all their own, and a sweet happily ever after - complete with babies.

**I received this ARC for my honest feedback.**

Aran goes to visit the father of his foster mother and encounters Oscar.
When Aran get a call from his foster mother she tells him that her father had called and sounded like he was very ill. She asks him if he will go visit him as he lives nearer and check out how he is and he is happy to agree. So he plans a trip to the remote town of Bowser to seek out her father Patrick. Omega wolf shifter had moved from Bowser to Dusk falls when a new pack was form there hoping to meet his mate but instead had become den mother to the packs younger children and as much as he loved them he longed for babies of his own. On a trip to Bowser where he had grown up he hears that Patrick an elder of his birth pack has retreated to his cabin in the woods and asked pack mates not to visit him he realizes he has gone into the woods to die as some who feel they have nothing more to live for sometimes do. He visits him and finds him very unwelcoming but on his way back encounters a very interesting human. Aran tells him he is on his way to visit Patrick and that he was sent by his daughter check on him.

Delegation, never felt so good! Aran, human, the oldest of Ms Gloria's foster brothers, is weighed down by the responsibility of Gruff Construction. His brothers rely on him to be the leader and head problem solver. Gloria asks him to check on her Dad, Patrick who may be having a health crisis. Oscar, is a coyote Omega who runs the day care center. He contemplates his inability to find his Alpha. He loves the pups in his care, but he wants his own. When Aran, comes to town, he feels the pull and thinks it's just the loneliness. Aran, feels the draw to Oscar, has no clue why it's so strong but knows he wants to pursue it. Does Aran, find Patrick sick or well? Does he pursue Oscar? Who will move? How does Aran feel about shifters? Is it possible for a win/win? Great story. Excellent found family and found friends. Good flow. Nicely painted characters. You can feel the awkward new meets. Great story, well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a cute retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. Aran is a human alpha. His foster mother's father is sick and she sends him to the middle of the woods to bring him some soup and treats. Oscar is an omega wolf shifter who's lonely and longs for a mate and pups of his own. When he learns the oldest of his pack is dying and wants to spend the last of his days alone away from the pack, he goes to visit him one final time. Shortly afterward, he comes across a man in the woods claiming to be Patrick's grandson- a man he is immediately drawn to. When it's clear Patrick had no idea he existed, he decides to try and get them to bond and give Patrick something to want to live for again, since he believes himself unneeded and with nothing to live for. Oscar is just doing it for Patrick's sake; wanting Aran to stay for himself too has nothing to do with it.. right? An enjoyable read with characters I liked. 4 stars.

Aran is only doing a favor for his foster mother. He also needs a break from the construction business he owns with his two foster brothers...and a break from his brothers. He needs to check up on his mother's estranged father. Along the way he is attracted to a red hoodie he just has to have. He's a city boy through and through. Armed with camping supplies he takes off into the woods with aplomb...and some trepidation. Oscar is a wolf and an omega annnnd very lonely. He is on a mission to bring Patrick, an old wolf, back into the pack, but Patrick has given up and is ready to go to the great wolf pack in the sky. Oscar and Aran meets in the woods and Oscar takes Aran to his grandfather's cabin. Are they mates? They don't know, but they sure do lust after each other. There is a lot of humor in this seriously cute, somewhat angsty story reminiscent of Red Riding Hood. An alpha is a little afraid of the woods and a omega who is afraid to grab what he wants. Excellent story.

Oscar and Aran story is a retelling of Red riding hood with a wolf shifter and human as protagonists.
It was a read full of funny and awkward moments that will make you laugh out loud, sweet love and also misunderstanding that will make our characters grow.
They get to trust in each other, communicate better, and have the support of well meaning family and friends.
I was extremely excited to read their journey to happiness, Oscar being one that wanted a family and kids of his own, and Aran the one who longed to be a father and not only an uncle.
Their first encounter is hilarious with so many awkward moments that will warm your heart.
It was sweet to see old characters and the way they contribute to Aran and Oscar happiness.
It was an interesting read and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.

**ARC Review**

This twisted take on the fairytale Red Riding Hood had me once I learned that the oldest Gruff brother Aran was getting his story. I loved those brothers and getting more of them is a treat. Aran and Oscar had that instant connection that comes along with finding your fated but a little untruths kept it a little angsty...but mainly there is a HOT romance along with a grumpy grandpa you will come to love and a lot of quirky shifter characters that kept it entertaining. Of course we have the babies that make these stories extra special along with a sweet HEA. Love these tales...can't wait for the next one.

A sweet shifter/ human romance. I loved this book of insta lust and almost insta love. Omega wolf shifter Oscar meets alpha human Aran in the woods and there is a zing of immediate attraction. It doesn't take them long to become intimate, but Aran still doesn't know shifters exist and Oscar doesn't know how to tell him. While their relationship is sweet and hot too, they do have some misunderstandings. Each of them wants the other but fears the other doesn't want them. In the end, everything comes together and they get a happy, little surprise too.

I loved this take on Little Red Riding Hood, it had so many unique takes but did the werewolf version justice. The grandmother in the woods, in this case, grandfather, was a hilarious character and loved how irritating he found people. I was happy to see Little Red Riding Hood was the alpha of this pair as opposed to ‘the wolf’. I enjoyed watching them explore the bond before they noticed it was there and watching them interact with the people in their community. I am eager to go back and read Cinder and learn about the Alpha couple who founded the pack and hope to see more from this series soon.

I thought that this was a really sweet book. I really like Aran and Oscar together. The connection and chemistry between these two was great. There is a lot of sweet and touching moments but also steam and drama. There is an misunderstanding but Aran and Oscar are more than willing to work things out for their love of one another. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for Seared! I would recommend this book and these three great authors.

This was a really cute story and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Oscar is a wolf shifter Omega who wants to find his mate, when he travels to Bowser one Sunday, he scents something and goes to find out who it is. Finding out it’s an older shifter Patrick, Oscar goes to visit him. After visiting with him, he bumps into a human Aran, who is visiting Patrick. They discovered they are mates and after some teething pains are you eventually get together and have their happily ever after.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and review with my honest and fair opinion.

ADAN AND OSCAR – M/M VERSION OF THREE LITTLE PIGS

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.

Adan is human and lives with his two brothers. He goes to visit his step-grandfather, Patrick. He buys a red hoodie and while traipsing through the forest, meets Oscar, a wolf-shifter. I love the way the characters interact and Patrick’s change of his outlook on life and how Gloria, Adan’s foster mother, changes her attitude towards the pack and her father. This story had me cheering, although it jumped forward a little too quickly.

Little Red Riding Hood - Shifter Style

I loved this quaint retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. Sometimes middle books are hard, but this one draws me even more into the series of fairy tale retellings. Aran, the human and Oscar, the omega wolf shifter are such a delightful pair. The amazing secondary characters, the brilliant chemistry between the two main characters, and the excellent pacing make this book a keeper and a winner. I laughed and cheered this couple every. step of the way.

An MM retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. Alpha Aran goes to a little out of the way town to check on his grandfather. There he meets Omega Oscar who does his best to keep Aran in town. Their attraction is unmistakable but Oscar (and the townsfolk) have a secret, one that will likely send Aran running.

- found family
- member older Omega
- town of shifters
- unexpected pregnancy

*****
POV… multi first person

Standalone or series… book 2 in series CAN be read as a standalone

Hangover… no

Recommend… yes

Reread… sure

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Both Aran and Oscar are care takers. When Aran is asked to check on her father by his foster mom, he meets Oscar who is trying to get Patrick interested in life again. It turns out that the mating of Aran and Oscar is what Patrick needed to want to live again. That is not to say there wasn't problems but the bond was too strong to ignore. I liked how Aran moves to be with Oscar.

Omega Oscar has always wanted his own children, not always looking after other people's. When Oscar met Alpha Aran he knew straight away that he was his mate.
Aran had come up to the woods to check on his foster mums dad, Patrick.
Aran and Oscar fell for each other quickly, but then all changed when Oscar had to tell Aran the truth.
Sweet quick read.

Great story

This is the second book in this series but can be read by itself. This was a very cute version of little red riding hood combined with the three billy goats gruff. The three Gruff brothers run a construction company. The oldest gets asked to check on his grandfather in the woods where he meets his fated mate who is a wolf. I really enjoyed this story and I can’t wait for the next one.

So sweet

I love fairy tale remakes and this one was just so sweet. Oscar is a gentle omega wolf shifter who enjoys taking care of the pack's children, but longs to have a child of his own. Aran is convinced by his adoptive mother to go visit her dad who is dying and alone in the woods. They unexpectedly meet in the woods and there is an instant attraction. A sweet story of finding your family filled with humor, misunderstandings, and heat.

I love it when a story blends the human and shifter worlds! Adds so many feels!

Human alpha Aran meets wolf omega Oscar, and it's a crazy jumble of sweet and heat, with a dash of confusion. In spite of their differences, or perhaps because of them, these two are a perfect match.

Loved this Cole/Linde/Dunbar collaboration! Will definitely be looking for more.

I loved this sweet and steamy M/M retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood (or 'hoodie' in this case) fairytale. Aran and Oscar are both sweet and the fated mates trope was sexy and steamy. There is a little conflict and misunderstanding, but not too much angst and drama, and a sweet HEA...with babies. Great addition to the series.

Fab Twist

I loved this twist on red riding hood! It was a great short read, with lots of heat and a good story. Aran just wanted to be taken care of but had a big heart to want to take care of someone too. Oscar was a great omega character. I love the fluff and it’s HEA!
