A well known Russian journalist plans to publish the biggest scoop of her career, a report that could change the course of all that happens from here on. Excited, ready to let it roll...And she goes missing, completely out of the picture. With Russia already threatening military conflict and nuclear war, there needs to be someone who can go into Russia and locate her. Zeb Carter and Team are the first called, even though they already have several high-placed enemies in a country where staying hidden is almost impossible. Zeb Carter Thriller book #9
No doubts Ty Patterson writes action-packed thrillers. His Zeb Carter series always gives us a thrill ride with a bit of fear and a lot of bangs where we see the characters dart and dash bullets and face enemies at every corners. In book #9, Zeb and his team’s mission sends them to Moscow to rescue a well-known Russian journalist who had planned to publish the biggest scoop that not only will boost her career but would be a game changer.
Mr. Patterson integrates the current events with the invasion of Ukraine in his story and gives his characters no respite from the opening page till the conclusion. Along the way as a reader I was fast out of breath following the gang dodging the different Russia law enforcement personal that were after them. It seemed most were quite incompetent...Zeb team always got out with minor injuries but the “bad guys” got killed or badly injured. Yes of course, Zeb and his merry men and women save the day and got out of Dodge (Moscow) with the journalist and her editor just in time....awe.
Although I admit the action is well-done and the characters are well defined the story has the same old beat. You see things coming, little surprise here for this long-time fan. I guess after reading so many books I have become somewhat blazé. Time for Mr. Patterson to give us a twist in his next story one we don`t see coming.
“Moscow” is not my favourite story but in spite of this, I definitely will continue being a faithful fan.

You can't but appreciate Ty. His knack of creating a quasi-real world can be well observed in all his stories.
With Moscow, it was like Ty had already known what the Russia-Ukrain tension would lead to. It's a page-turner full of nonstop action.
I feel extremely fortunate to be one of his "beta readers".

"Moscow: A Covert-Ops Suspense Action Novel (Zeb Carter Thriller Series Book #9)" is a welcome addition the series, a series which just keeps getting better, and better over time.
As always the author, Ty Patterson, provides his readers with not only page-turning reading filled with action and suspense, but also great characters. Characters who have continued to grow through each new addition to the "Zeb Carter World".
Ty's plot-lines are tight, and I've found them to be extremely well researched and as a "Beta Reader" I always look forward to a new book in this (or any other) series by this outstanding author.
I highly recommend this book. That said there is a "caveat". It is a series, so in order to gain full appreciation I heartily recommend reading the books in publishing order. While they can be read as standalone novels, it is my sincere feeling "full enjoyment" comes from reading the entire series in publishing order. So much for that caveat.

I purchased “Moscow” by Ty Patterson (Zeb Carter Series Book 9) immediately it was available. I have read all of Ty’s books and have loved them all. Ty started thinking about, and writing about, “Moscow” long before Putin invaded Ukraine. It seems like Ty was predicting all of what Putin would do. The Russian President in “Moscow”, like Putin, was a deranged, corrupt leader who had no problem ordering his troops to commit cowardly attacks on innocent civilians, including children.
Zeb Carter and his seven compatriots are a secret group of ex-Special Forces operatives, a non-existent organization reporting only to the President of the United States. One of their projects was to deduct the head of the SVR, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, Alexei Gorshky. However, before they could attempt this feat, Zeb got a message from a Russian investigative reporter, Elena Zakharova, to say she had been abducted and had hidden her notes about the government’s troop build-up on the Ukrainian border and its plans to attack its neighbours. It wasn’t long before the group made a plan to go to Russia to rescue Zeb’s acquaintance and, if possible, to deduct Gorshky.
This book is a fast-paced, thrilling read with great characters. I have never been bored with Ty’s writing. His style is edge-of-your-seat, gripping, keeping one’s attention on every page. The group is involved in multiple battles with their horrifying opponents and their unique skills keep them on top. Zeb is well known by various groups, including Mossad and he required their help with military supplies and transport. He also had help from one of Russia’s crime syndicates as well as the Russian protestors who resented the government. The group, as always, had excellent, up-to-date technological equipment, including drones and scanners.
As usual, I am so impressed with Ty’s research. His facts are so well researched that one can accept that the story could be true and descriptions of places are impeccable.
I like the fact that the group always completes its missions. They did that in this book but it was very sad that, in real life, Russia has attacked Ukraine with the loss of innocent life.
I would recommend this book to everyone. It is a fantastic, well-written novel. It is a stand-alone story but readers would appreciate the excellent skills of each member if one read all of the Warrior series.

The author has always had a handle on politics and his made-up stories feel real, especially this one. If the reader didn't know it takes months to research and write a book it would feel like he was writing a story out of today's news. “You are amazing Ty Patterson.”
So-called dissidents in Russia are against the speeches predicting the Russian Leader's plans for taking over European countries. When a reporter hides the information that will reveal his plans along with proof, she's taken by the gov to torture until she turns over her information if they cannot find it. Zeb's team is going to rescue her and get her plus the information out of Russia—at least that is the plan.
Some of the most deadly and highly trained agencies in the world are pitted against or with Zeb's team it is gonna be dangerous and involve civilians and professionals alike.
Step into the real world – I mean Zeb's make-believe world. Just don't make any plans cause this is another one you just can't put down.

Zeb Carter and the Team's main mission has them headed straight into Moscow. But, when Zeb receives a text asking for help they will need to add a secondary mission. This mission may be more important than the first.
With the twist and turns through the streets of Moscow, evading the SRV, and GRU you will be kept on the edge of your seat. You may find yourself holding your breath while Zeb and his team try to get out of some tight encounters. To stop what is happening so many pieces will need to fall into place and their help may come from some unlikely sources.
I enjoyed getting to spend time with the whole team, each getting to use their expertise in life and death situations this mission places them into. I love this author's style of writing with tight, fast-paced action. Cannot wait until the next book is released!

Tightly integrating current events with the Russian invasion of Moscow, Zeb and crew embark on a critical rescue mission with the potential to alter how the rest of the world perceives what's about to happen. A Must Read Zeb Carter Adventure, if you have read any of the past Zeb Carter novels then you already know you're in for a treat. In Moscow Zeb and the team head out to find the journalist Elena Zakharova who has gone missing and in true Zeb Carter style chaos ensues. For anyone worried or on the fence this is not a current political affairs heavy novel it touches and mentions the war in Ukraine starting but the focus is still on finding Elena with Zeb and the crew kicking some enemy butt. Highly Recommended.

When a Russian journalist reaches out to Zeb Carter for help, you know the team won't be able to say no. Especially since they also have unfinished business in Russia. Once the team arrives, they need to rely on help from friends located in Moscow to help with vehicles and weapons. And then the game of cat and mouse begins as Zeb and his team try to locate Elena while the SVR (Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service) tries to capture them. This is another great read in this series with many twists and turns, explosions, suspense, humor, and so much more.

Ty Patterson is ahead of his time by writing Moscow: A Covert- Ops suspense action novel before Russia invaded Ukraine. Zeb and his crew set out to save a reporter who has data revealing Russia's plan to expand her borders. They utilize their local connections and skills to maneuver around the Russian government. This is definitely a seat gripping, page turning, action filled book that you won't want to put down.

This is a fantastic series! You can however read each book as a stand alone novel. As usual this was a well researched novel. It is eery how close to reality parts of this story are with respect to what is going on in Russia today.
Zeb and his crew have a mission but while they are in Russia a secondary mission comes to light. Can they be successful on all fronts? There is so much action, this book is really hard to put down.

An unbelievable read!! This book closely parallels the current situation in Ukraine with a few added twists and turns. Zeb and his crew are tasked with rescuing a Russian journalist from the old torture chamber of Lubyanka aided by thousands of Russian dissidents and Mossad. High tension, action and suspense on every page. Enjoyed immensely!! My highest recommendation!!

Ty Patterson writes another exciting Zeb Carter adventure. Using current world events, the author takes the reader on a riveting mission in Moscow. This book was exciting because we all know how brutal the Russian President can be and there were several times when things had a definite possibility of thwarting Zeb’s mission and endangering his team. I highly recommend this author and all the books in the Zeb Carter series.

Talk about eerie . Me Patterson wrote this book long before the real life invasion by Russia . This book has Zeb and the crew doing what they do best trying to rescue a reporter who had helped them one time . You have suspense, action and wanting to turn the pages to see what happens next . I highly recommend this book.

Zeb Carter and crew are headed to Moscow to complete a mission to capture a Russian official when they receive another mission; to rescue a Russian journalist who is being held prisoner by the Russian government. While working on both of these missions, the real current events of the world start happening around them. Another excellent read in a great series.

Great read with Zeb and friends traveling to Moscow to address events eerily similar to events in todays world. As always with books in the Zeb Carter universe there is plenty of action along with some cerebral exercises from Zeb and the twins.

Couldn't put it down
Zeb Carter and his team fight to protect America from terrorism. The books are really fast paced and hard to put down. I own the entire series and can't wait for the next one.

Semi unrealistic. No way they move around Russia in this fashion without being discovered. Wish it was a tad more real world.
