INCREDIBLE BOOK! This teacher nails it! The problem we are seeing, especially in reformed teachers like Nancy Guthrie and RC Sproul, have not only misunderstood scripture and hermeneutics but spiritualized God’s word. It’s been an evil trap immature Christians have been getting stuck in. If you take God’s word literally you will see why God has not disregarded his promises to the nation of Israel, the millennial kingdom in rev. 20 is a literal 1,000 kingdom ie look into Isaiah, Ezekiel and Zechariah. The church is falling from God and seeking teachers instead of reading his word. 🙏Def on the last days as the church things they will usher in the 1,000 kingdom with A millennialism. Thankfully God will have the judgement seat for crowns for the faithful 🙏🙌✝️🇮🇱
Fascinating read, showing plainly how the Bible is saturated with prophecy from start to finish, harmoniously, with clear evidence of fulfillment throughout the old and new testament books. The author presents a strong case that most prophecy has been fulfilled, and that if the Bible says something will happen, well, it's got an excellent track record so pay attention to what's ahead! Easy to read, not overly complicated. This is the kind of stuff Christians should be familiar with as we seek to understand the Word and the King it reveals (who is coming again).
This book takes you comprehensively through the Bible to show you everything it has said about the end of human government and the last days of being subjected to a world spoiled by Adam's fall. By the end of this book, you will shouting along with the holy angels of the victorious King of kings who has conquered this world and triumphed over the god of this world.
I was expecting an actual chronology of prophecies to help me understand the multitude of prophecies about Israel's rise and fall. But that's not really what this book is about. Instead, it is a good overview of the prophecies regarding Christ and His return. I'm not disappointed. He makes it clear that Israel has NOT been replaced by the Church, that the Tribulation is about their salvation, and that the Millenium awaits believers. Todd accomplishes that mission well.
Simple, straightforward, easy to ready and perhaps MOST importantly, easy to understand!
The cover looks like a kid’s book; it’s not. I read this alongside an introduction to Biblical eschatology and this one was MUCH easier to read.
The bible is a big book, and over 25% of it relates to prophecy. The reader and especially the believer owes it to themselves to know and understand prophecy better, especially since we aren’t done yet!
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.75/4.75 stars Even though I feel like this book could've explained more prophecies it was a really good read. I learned lots and the book was informational but also kept things simple and easy to understand. I do highly recommend this book and I personally think it's a must read because you can learn LOTS of cool and interesting facts from this book
This book is excellent for anyone interested in learning about prophecy. Todd has a fantastic way of explaining how the entire Bible draws a picture of how everything ends, and God ultimately wins.
