Amani lets her sister and grandmother talk her into going on a trip to a ski resort that was supposed to be for her Christmas wedding, despite the fact that Amani called the wedding off six months ago.
Thanks to an unfortunate slip on the slopes, an injured Amani finds herself being saved by Zane, a handsome stranger with an amazing bedside manner.
With an unexpected blizzard on the way, Amani’s only option is to stay with Zane at his home in tucked away in the mountains until the snowstorm passes. But after sharing passionate nights hot enough to melt away the snow together, parting ways might be a lot easier said than done for the two of them.
Yeah, that's more like it. All the Christmas feels ingredients. It had snow, ski lodge/resort, Christmas carols, fireplace, tree decorating, hot cocoa, Christmas light show, it had kisses, it had Christmas morning sėx. What else could you ask for....oh and the plot and story line was nice too. That's how I like my Christmas reads🙃🥰
This was a good book to start my year with but it was too short. This had a Hallmark movie feel but nowhere near as cheesy. I need more about Zane and Amani.
Cute read. I felt for Amani, being humiliated the way she was, and having to cancel her wedding. But, she held her head up high, as she had so much going for herself. Going to the exact place that her wedding was to be held, was a bold move! But with Grandma Honey by her side, she was set up to win. Dr. Hamilton (Zane) decided to finally settle in one place, rather than save lives around the world. Meeting/saving Amani was unexpected, but a welcomed change of pace for him. Their chemistry was immediate, and Zane's BDE was glaring! 😂 The few days they spent together were adorable, and incredibly hot! Good read. 👍👍👍
SNOWBOUND gave me exactly what I wanted. Snowed in with two mature adults. No drama between the couple, banter, humor, close family relationships and sex. The ending was the kind I like. Oh, and this such a specific, small thing, but I really liked that the mom and grandma curse. It just made them feel like real people, not just maternal archetypes.
The only thing I didn’t like was their response to the encounter with her ex, but I get it, it’s just not my thing. But I appreciated that they acknowledged it. Will be reading more for this author.
Talking about an uncanny situation that I imagined Amani was me the entire time! Zane was something serious and baby I just want to getaway and be snowed in now! 😫
I wish I could find myself snowbound with a hottie doctor. Yes, that would be nice. And that's what happens in this story. It was quite an enjoyable holiday tale too!
This story follows Amani & Zane who meet after Amani takes a tumble while skiing. Amani is recently mending a broken heart after calling of her wedding bc her fiancé cheated. Her grandma & sister convince her to still go up to the mountains where she would have gotten married to still celebrate The holidays.
Zane is a well known & well established doctor who’s recently moved back home to take over a practice & be closer to his family. The moment he finds Amani after she falls he’s instantly attracted to her. Unfortunately when she wakes up she react less than ideal & manages to piss him off💀 Instead of being grateful he saves her she complains that she’s stuck with him for the holidays due to the snow.
I loved this novella it really made my heart warm watching these two fall for each other & also bang all over the house. They were so perfectly matched it was everything. They made the best out of the situation for two strangers snowed in on Christmas. There were so many cute & funny moments in here. Zane is so dominant, kind, thoughtful, & sweet. I definitely loved how he just wanted to care for her & take care of her. Amani is a badass & strong black FMC which I live for. Loved it, ate it up. Go read it.
Amani was supposed to be getting married at a resort in Umber Bluff, but six months before the wedding her fiance called it off. Convinced to still go on the trip, Amani didn't expect to fall and fall hard. During an outing, Amani fell and was found by Zane, the new town doctor. When Zane laid eyes on Amani he wanted her, but she was not feeling that. The chemistry between Zane and Amani was strong and when they finally hooked up, it became explosive. I loved seeing the relationship blossom between them and how Amani is healing from her past hurt. I was Amani got what she needed and deserved. I hope their are more books in Umber Bluff
Short and Sweet! Amani returns to the ski resort where her now cancelled wedding was to take place. She is angry and heart broken over how Thomas betrayed her. While remembering a shared moment of skiing, with her late father, Amani is injured and blacks out on the mountain. Dr. Zane rescues her and their journey is a sweet one, but guess who turns up begging for forgiveness and a second chance. However, Zane is not hardly having that and quickly "checks" ole boy!!! Absolutely love this "revenge is delicious" story!
As with all of TR’s holiday books this one was just as cute. I loved the excitement and the characters. Everything about this book gave me, sit by the fire cuddled in a blanket vibe. I don’t ish about skiing but I loved reading about a black owned ski resort and black people skiing. This really is a great story.
This book was amazing and so cute. Amani was going through it when she decided to go on her trip and Zane had decided it was time to return home. Then fate stepped in and their paths crossed in the most unbelievable way that you can only consider it fate. Something about reading love at first sight or strong chemistry at first meet that brings me joy.
I really enjoyed this short story.I love a quick read that somehow manages to give a complete story and doesn't seem like a rush job. I am hoping there is a continuation of Zane and Amani's story. I need more of them. I am also looking forward to more stories from Umber Bluff. This book was a great set up for future books in the series.
I always enjoy when a love story has me a little jealous and this one really did. The way Amani and Zane found each other was so serendipitous (and HIGHLY unlikely to happen to me 'cause I'm not skiing anywhere) and I loved how smooth their chemistry was. It kinda makes me wish there was a follow-up story with these two.
I enjoyed every page of this Christmas story. Getting snowed in with Zane was probably one of the best things that could’ve ever happened to Amani. Reading about their time together gave me that good warm, cozy feel. I’ve fallen in love with this authors writing, and can’t wait to read more of her stories.
This book has all of the feels! It was a short, so you only get a taste, but it was an amazingly cute story! I believe the couple will blossom into love and that’s enough for me!!
Beautiful , fiery, and sizzling oh sexy romance set in ski town is a quick attention grabber. Snow and a blizzard bring a love connection and explosive love between this couple.
Absolutely wonderful, sexy story set in the heart of a winter paradise. Amani and Zane were just what I needed to read about this Christmas season. You should most definitely put this book on your reading schedule this holiday season.
I am falling in love with Umber Bluffs . This books was the perfect holiday read. I love the storyline of the health professionals. With the ending, I am hoping that we will get a continuation in the new year 🧡.
This was heart warming and it held my attention throughout. I loved the way Amani and Zane met and how the relationship started forming. I would definitely read more about them. Loved it.
I’m loving the new Umber Bluffs setting! Umber Bluff definitely set the pace for Armani and Zane’s journey! Zane is definitely Book 📖 Bae material! I hate that it was a short journey! Thank you 😊 Te and congratulations on your 50th book!
I loved this story! Who would have thought of a black ski resort! I loved the character development and the chemistry between Zane and Amani was fire! There's just something about being trapped in a blizzard!
Once again I was hooked as soon as I started reading. I love how you write your love stories. So wanted Zane to punch Thomas lights out!!! The nerve! Anyway, thanks for the great read. Will definitely add it to my collection of your books.
I had a good time with this one. I wasn’t even annoyed by the insta love in this one. I’m also more willing to accept insta love in Christmas romances because I’m a hallmark Christmas movie girl, so yea. I enjoyed this one
This was a cute short read. It kind of reminds me of one of the holiday movies on the Hallmark channel. Loved Amani and Zane. Would have loved more of them.
