This may have been the best installment of the bunch. Unfortunately, I couldn't find this book listed on its own, here in Goodreads, so I had to add it myself. I'm also not sure who the real author of this piece is. The rest of the parts of this package had both Ben Hopkin and Carolyn McCray as authors.
In Jack & Jill, FBI agent Sariah Cooper and her rag-tag team continue to chase down the killer they have known as Humpty Dumpty. The intensity seems to ramp up in this story. It seems to be a bit more violent than the previous installments, but was definitely entertaining.
There are a couple of good twists toward the end of this one, and I was completely surprised at who the killer was. I will admit that I find the ending to be a far reach, but insanity doesn't always make sense, does it?
Honestly, I'm not sure that this story is available on its own, as I got it as part of a Kindle "boxed set," which included all of the previously reviewed stories, and a few more short stories that I have yet to read.
