I loved this set! I had read the first book longggggg agobandb added it to my btw(book to watch for) and well ya know how that goes lost in the TBR pile!🥺 Stumbled across the bundle and devoured it!🥰😍 Well written and love that it's a complete set!!! A must read!
Took a lot longer to get into this book then normal for me
It took a long time for me to get into this book. It took way longer for me to read the series then it would normally take me because at 1st I didn't really like the characters. They were young and as such annoying. I am sure I was just as annoying at that age. The author did a good job of developing the characters but because they were so young at the beginning He had to make them annoying To those of us you aren't still that age. LOL
Four book set about a teenager finding she has powers and the adventures she and her friends have. A four book set about Dragon-Kin Kaylee and her adventures Dragon's Awakening On the last day of summer vacation Kaylee Richards went on her first date with a guy who didn't want to hear the word "No". She stopped him but her life would never be the same again as it brought out her Dragon-Kin powers. When the date attacks her with a weapon trying to kill her she learns of the existence of slayer who want to wipe Dragon-Kin from the face of the Earth. She is taken under the local Convocation to learn how to control her powers. Those of a Storm Dragon. What follow is a fast paced race against time to stop the Slayers from achieving their aim of destroying all Dragon-Kin. An exciting adventure of the magical kind Dragon's Curse Dragon Kin Kaylee is working on the strength and control of her powers but finding it a struggle. Her estranged uncle Randy appears then her brother Reese returns saying he is taking a year out of college but when her uncle offers to become her new teacher things start to feel strange. Then some rogue Dragon Kin turn up in the area it seems something is about to happen. A great adventure. Dragon's Bane Jade is invited to take part in the Tamers Test to become a trained tamer. Dragon-Kin Kaylee is surprise by a visitor Liam Pendragon who wants to marry her but she is still having trouble getting Merlin Edwin out of his books. They all head off to New York for the Tamer Tests to give Jade moral support. Meanwhile Lesuvius and the slayer are seeking a way to power the Herald back up and call the hunt. A dragon story. Dragon's Fate Randy is leading the teenage friend trying to keep them away from the hunt but elements of it are searching for them and Kaylee by name. They try to back track to New York hoping the the NYC Convocation can be of help but it is attacked and they have to run again. They search for help finding a fight club and then some old friends Zaria and the Palduca. Can they find the help they need or will the hunt win. A dragon magic story . I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Dragon's Awakening Great read. I feel that teens and young adults would really like this book. The different characters and their abilities were brought to life. It shows what teens do and that they don't always listen to what they are told and if they want to be good at something they have to practice and practice at it. So much action going on you wanted to keep reading to see what was going to happen.
Dragon's Curse Great read. I feel that teens and young adults would really like this book. The different characters and their abilities were brought to life. It shows what teens do and that they don't always listen to what they are told and if they want to be good at something they have to practice and practice at it. So much action going on you wanted to keep reading to see what was going to happen. We have new characters and sibling love that's strained. What action will happen in the next book? Will Kaylee ever control her abilities? What will Jade decided to do after school?
Dragon's Bane OMG, this book just keeps you on your toes. Great book for teens and older. If you want a lot of action its in this book. We have Kaylee and her friends that trouble just seems to find. Now with Kaylee and Edwin on a date a full life dragons bangs into the window were they are eating. Of course what do they do, go after it. What is the dragon bane doing to everyone now? Dragon-kin changing into killers? Can they find who is making and selling it? What will happen to Kaylee, Edwin, Maddox, and Jade? Can they stop the Hunt from happening? Or will Lesuvious and the Herald win?Oh, what's this about Liam and marriage?
Dragon's Fate OMG, this is an awesome read. I know my middle and up students would love this series. Young adults too. So much action and suspense, with a little love on the side. Kaylee now has the ancient dragon in her. Kaylee and her friends are still fighting the slayers and wondering about the hunt. Will they be able to defeat the Hunt and Slayers? Can Kaylee learn to control her dragons? Will she find the meaning behind everything? I just can't say enough about this series.
I am such a fan of box sets! They allow you to binge-read a new series without having to wait for the next installment. This author and series are new to me. The author created a complex world but introduces the reader to it as the heroine learns about it. She has no clue that she's anything beyond an average human teenager heading off to high school until an incident where a boy gets too handsy. She becomes furious, which triggers her full but previously latent (and untutored) powers. Even her bestie is not what she seems.
I like that the author introduces us slowly to this world. No info dumps here, which is good because I strongly dislike them. There's a surprising amount of humor in the story, which I enjoy; we don’t see it often enough in stories like this. I thought, though, that the heroine seemed a little too sophisticated for someone who's supposed to be 12 or 13 at the start of the series. She only occasionally talks like a young teenager; most of the time she sounded too adult. The four youngsters at the heart of this series are individual and complex; they certainly aren't cookie-cutter characters. We see them all at their best and worst in this series. Every single book has a lot going on in it. The characters have barely recovered from one thing happening when the next thing happens, making it quite the page-turner. If you like YA tales of dragon shifters, magic, and the ever-present fight of good against evil, you may very well enjoy this series.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
A bit of a "what?" start - the misplaced, glorious, courageous stupidity of youth bothered me...But we have all been there, haven't we?
Surprisingly touching - for an action laden book, I mean. The onslaught of emotions is moving and unexpected, varied and deep. Poor Kaylee gets caught in a storm of feelings, and containing it is even harder than any storm. She didn't summon this one, but she's able to contain it all the same. Barely. She not only owns the storm, she IS the storm. But aren't we all?
Great imagination and non-stop action! Plus - pain. So much pain and struggle and defeat.... Ahhhh.... what a ride! And at the end... again... the realization that, at our core, we're all human after all.
We love and hate, we rejoice and suffer, we heal and bleed, we laugh and cry, we dream or despair, we do or we don't - all in feelings coming from deep inside. We're human, we are good and bad, weak and strong, beautiful and ugly, reasonable and stubborn, diligent and lazy, merciful and pitiless - all at the same time. Nobody can be all good or all bad, it's all about balance. The only thing we can't control is age, which, with struggle, practice and experience, brings balance... or should, more or less.
Well done, Sean! That was some seriously good writing, I can do nothing but bow to you, Maestro!
Kaylee Richards was looking forward to high school. She was asked out by a cute guy, but things went crazy. Kaylee's world is going to change overnight. She finds out that is a rare dragon kin. The slayers are trying to either kill her or use her for their spell to end her kind. Kaylee will have to find it in herself to fight and live. During this series, you will see Kaylee grow in the dragon kin she is supposed to be. She has her family, friends and someone special as she fights to the slayers to stop them from killing them. This series will draw you in and you enjoy the world you are immersed in. The characters are flawed and grow through out.

An excellent series. So glad I got them as a bundle. Kaylee goes from a normal high school student to being a dragon-kin. Unknown to her, her best friend has been training to protect her if she does change. Kaylee goes to train with a magician that everyone dreads. But she meets Edwin, a magician in training, that was sent there cause his magic was not under control. With the 2 working together, Edwin gets better with his magic. Kaylee also meets Edwin there too. Their adventures are dangerous but they learn new powers as they go forward in their lives. A lot of action and trouble they run across throughout the books. They make friends and fight old enemies throughout. Once you start reading, you don't want to stop.
The story drew me in right from the start, and it was a lot of fun to get to know the characters and the world Sean Fletcher has built for them.
Kaylee and her friends manage to get themselves into increasingly bigger trouble over the span of the four books, and the build-up towards the final "Boss Fight" in book 4 kept me biting my talons (pardon: fingernails) right until the end.
I really enjoy Sean Fletcher's writing, the occasional snark, and the banter between Kaylee and her friends. I found the books well-paced, with enough twists and turns and typical teenage hubris to keep me entertained.
What an incredible box set! From the moment Kaylee discovers she is a dragon-kin, half dragon and half human, she attracts the attention of the Slayers, an ancient order dedicated to eradicating all dragon-kin. They have evil plans for Kaylee, who has the rare power to summon storms.
This is fast paced, high-action series with plenty of magic to draw the reader in from the start! You’ll meet a crazy assortment of characters! Grab your copy of this exciting box set and join Kaylee and her friends through the twists and turns her life has taken. You won’t regret it!
ONE FANTASTIC CHRISTMAS GIFT HERE!!! Oh man, talk about a gift that keeps on giving. If you're looking for excitement, action packed, fast paced, hard hitting, heart pounding, pulse racing, page turning bombshell that's as riveting as it is captivating. Congrats my friends you've found it. This little jewel doesn't lack anything. You get all the drama, danger and suspense with an amazing storyline that really show the depth and personalities of the characters and the scenes. You can't help but fall in love with this collection. Thanks Sean for pulling this little treasure together for us.
This series follows kaylee as she realizes that she is a dragon kin. Not only that she is a very special one. She has to learn to harness her powers while dodging the hunters that want to kill her and her protectors. Her best friend Jade is a tamer and had been in training before Kaylee ever showed signs of her powers. This was a fun and exciting read following a group of kids and the prejudiced opposing groups that destiny has placed them in.

I had heard of dragon shifters, but dragon-kins are a whole new breed. They can't shift into a dragon but can change parts of their body while using many magical powers of the dragon.
When Kaylee discovers she is a dragon kin, an entire new world of merlins, slayers, tamers and rogues open up for her. One thing is for sure, trouble keeps an active eye out for Kaylee and her gang of friends.
A superbly written series with just enough twist to keep one hooked.

I have read and reviewed every book as they came out but owning this awesome four book box set is a must for all who love magic, shape-shifters, dragons and mayhem! this series is jam packed with action and poor Kaylee Richards who is just an ordinary teenager or so she thought till she came into her own magic powers and both forces of good and evil were out to find her!! This series keeps you hooked till the last page and reading at the edge of your seat! Enjoy.
I loved this series! The story caught me within the first few pages of the first book and I read in every spare moment until I’d finished all four. There was a light romance but it wasn’t the focus of any of the four books. It had a great pace and the characters were both likable and relatable- at least as much as they can be in a fantasy storyline. If you’re looking for a fantasy story that’s not so heavy on the romance, I’d definitely recommend it!
This was a terrifc read. It was lovely to have the entire series to read in one go. The adventure flows well thru the entire series with the level of excitement keeping me on my toes! The writing is of a consistantly high quality which makes it even more of a pleasure to read. I highly recommend this series to everyone who likes magic, dragons and adventure. Wow! This is a wonderful series about Kaylee and her adventures. She discovers that she is a dragon-kin with special magic. The characters are entertaining while the stories are high action with so many twists that kept me reading. I’m glad I got this set so I could binge read. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sean Fletcher has come up with one of the most creative takes on dragons that I have seen. His concept of Dragon-kin and Merlins is very intriguing. The magic systems presented are likewise very original and entertaining. This is a great complete series with wonderful characters and world building. Overall, it was a very enjoyable read.
An intriguing page turner that is best enjoyed when you have a full day to read. I received an ARC of Heir of Dragons: The Complete Series by Sean Flectcher to read and decided to leave my honest opinion.
What a fun new twist on the supernatural apocalypse genre! The characters are (mostly) likable with good growth. Good pacing and few grammatical/spelling errors. If you like a fun coming-of-age story with a dragony twist, give this series a shot!
This is a great box set. This set includes the complete collection of Heir of Dragons. This boxset has action and adventure. Each book is well written with well developed characters. I recommend reading.
