This entire series is just absolutely amazing. Great chemistry between couples, cute Marines, and Hawaii. I mean, what more could you ask for? There was a wide variety of tropes so there's something for everyone: fake relationship, friends to more, enemies to lovers, single parents, even a shipwreck/stranded story. You don't technically have to read them all in order, but I always prefer reading books in order if they're part of a series. Also, if you've read the San Diego Marines series (another fantastic one by the way), you see some familiar faces, which is really fun! If you haven't read that series, no worries. You won't be lost. But I would encourage trying that one out too!

he was moving to calif and she was going to get a place between where they both worked
he proposed and she said yes

Treasured: Loved this one. Roman and Molly, pretending never turned out better. I loved the planner jokes as I have a planner, not colored coded, but maybe. Shows that you can have a great book without explicit scenes. Loved the movie references also.
Promises: Such a great story of friends always being there for each other no matter the distance. I love how they took time to just be. This really painted a lovely picture of Hawaii. Looking forward to more from these Marines.
Stranded: This second chance love story is everything. Sweet, tender, scary, amazing, adventurous, forgiveness and most of all love. These Marines know how to treat their women.
Romance: PJ intrigued me from the first time he popped up. I love that he is a big bad Marine who loves to read and doesn’t care who knows it. I’m so glad Maggie gave him a chance. Bree, oh, Bree. I loved her sass and her love of reading. Raising her the right way. Can’t wait for Hunter. These stories are so good and I can’t get enough of them.
Heartbeats: You really feel for both Hunter and Nora. Each trying to succeed for different reasons, then figuring out that together they can achieve it all. Felt like a circle being completed with the first book about recruiting then this one. Great story. Gonna be sad to let these couples go.
Christmas: Oh, the emotions in this one. I love the family these Marines have with each other. Lolo and Tess were a match from the beginning.

A terrific way to experience the whole Hawaii series
Though each of the novels in this delightful romance series is standalone, the characters are interconnected, and the stories flow across the series on a sequential timeline, starting with the first book through the sixth and final book in the series. This offering of the complete series, all in one place, is a convenient and cost-effective way to experience all of these books.
So far, I have read probably 12 or so books by this author. She is known for writing “sweet” (no sex), HEA romance, and each of those books has been an entertaining read, with consistently sympathetic, honorable protagonists.
I have above all enjoyed this particular series because of the exotic Hawaiian setting. The author is a Marine spouse, and her family spent years in Hawaii when her husband was stationed there. This has enabled her to create, not only very authentic details about Marine life, but also vivid and accurate descriptions of Hawaii. It is like taking a mini vacation reading each of these books.

Amazing series!!!!
L-O-V-E-D this series!!!!!! I’m new to the author & she definitely did not disappoint! The best part about this series is exactly that, it came in a box set so I could binge read every book back to back! I fell in love with the main characters in each book & loved that the author introduced you to future main characters along the way so when they became the main focus in the next book, you already knew them. This is honestly the best clean romance that I’ve read! I am definitely hooked on this author now! Can’t wait to dive into the next!!!

Sweet romance with hot Marines in Hawaii
What’s not to like about falling in love with gorgeous men in uniform? Add that it happens in Paradise, and you can’t lose.
I honestly didn’t read a couple of these stories because they didn’t grab my attention, but the four I read were great.
STRANDED ON THE SANDBAR is my favorite and I would give it five stars.
Lots of different tropes I this collection. Every romantic heart is sure to find something to swoon over.

The Kailua Marines series as a whole was amazing! Each story was told beautifully. I’ve never been to Hawaii, but just from movies I’ve seen, you described it gorgeously. I could picture the scenes when I was reading as if I was there. PJ and Maggie in Romance on the Reef turned out to be my absolute fave couple of the entire series. Job well done!!

Just one story will make you want to binge read the rest of the series
I got this book to read one in the series that I had missed. However it wasn’t so simple. It’s like M & M’s, you can’t just eat one single one! So I ended up binge reading the whole series. For a second time. Yep, that good. I just couldn’t stop reading! And each story has a segue into the next one that makes me think I’ll just read a chapter or two of the next one to remember how it continues. Yeah can you see the pattern?
It’s just really hard to put the book down. Each story is just so different with such different characters and plot twists. It’s really enjoyable.
Rating: PG, clean, no language, mild kissing but still swoony.
