Sometimes you want to read serious literature. Other times you want to read 148 pages of aliens abducting stranded space explorers, drugging them with sex pollen fruit before everything devolves into an outrageous orgy. Variety is truly the spice of life lol
I read this cause I've heard alot of good things about book 2, and book 1 is basically setting the scene, premise and characters for that book. I didn't expect to have as much fun as I did with this but I actually genuinely had a great time and laughed multiple times while listening.
My first audiobook by Zane Daniels and he did an amazing job narrating this book and giving it some vibrancy and life. That being said you can bet your ass I was turning down the volume at the traffic lights cause I didn't need anyone overhearing about all the 12 inch alien cocks that frequently featured here 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

This was short and it was hot. And now I’m kinda invested… If you want a book full of giant purple aliens, a group of stranded space explorers, and the craziest most amazing smut, this is for you. There’s enough smut where you don’t really have to think about what you're reading but there’s also enough bits of plot that actually make the story interesting. I’m looking forward to the second one. 😂

I know most of you love this book. For me, it's really bad. Sorry for the unpopular opinion.
The world building is virtually non-existent, the plot is predictable. The aliens are only interesting at first glance. The ending is the worst thing that could happen and doesn't make me want to invest any time in the sequel.
The sex ... I have rarely been so bored. I skimmed a lot when it finally came to the long announced orgy.
The characters, yes some are interesting but nothing excites me for more at this point.
The first chapter was the only part of the book I liked. When the second chapter jumps back a year and turns out to be the prequel to the first chapter, I was mega frustrated. I mean, I built up a relationship with the characters in the first chapter and then not one of them appears in the whole book? That's the worst part for me plot-wise.
I liked Alec. And I thought there was a connection there with his alien and I liked that too. I hate Zercy. I can't read a whole book on him.

Alien. I'm reading about purple aliens. And what a strange book it was. It was hot, but so damn strange. I felt like it didn't really have a story, but more a build up towards the sex finally happening. Oh and the timeline was 2 days... I hate when it's so short, but luckily there's no love here.
Though we don't met King Zercy until the end, he seems interesting.
“If they’re not, we’re fucking screwed.” Alec wondered if he’d meant that literally or figuratively. Scratch that. He didn’t want to know.
The book follows Captain Alec Hamlin (main character) and the Kríe Miros, Co-pilot, Zaden ‘Z’ Ryes and the Kríe Naydo, bodyguard Chet and the Kríe Roni, scientist Noah and the Kríe Gesh ?, scientist Bailey and the Kríe Filli, and scientist Jamis and the Kríe Finn (the human and the Kríe put together as they become their ‘fuck interest’). Overall, it was strange and I kinda have no more words. On to the next one? I think..
“Holy shit,” he rasped. “You… Your team… You’re going to force yourselves on us sexually.” Gesh jerked back as if offended, then slowly grinned. “Oh, no, delicious creature. You will gladly consent. In fact, you will beg us for our cocks.”

Remember Avatar? The movie with the blue, peaceful aliens, where humans were the aggressors?
Well, now imagine the first humans crashing their ship, and being captured by them. The Kríe might look similar to the Naví apart from the skin colour, but they’re cunning, and - while not exactly violent- not really peace loving, either. There are no females in this world, only males who apparently can choose to procreate. Sounds like a brain- and plotless porn? Funnily enough, it isn’t.
This book might feel a like a drawn out foreplay to an orgy that WILL make you gasp and blush (after all, the humans DID need to -literally- get fucked after eating some fruit that gave them a permanent boner 😂), but it also manages to introduce not only the upcoming characters, but quite a bit of the Kríe universe, too. Oh and I assure you, dear reader, that even if you might roll your eyes at the ridiculous OTTness of it all, you’ll have one hell of a good time while reading it.
On top of that, if you listen to the audiobook, you get an awesome narrator new to me (edit: apparently he’s not new to me, as Kati pointed out, I just had a temporary lapse 😅 but he’s good. REALLY good.) as the cherry on top (helllloooo Zane Daniels and welcome to my top-narrators-list).
And now please excuse me while I dive in headfirst into one of the longest books I’ll ever listen to, following the path of Alec and the Kríe king, Zercy 🥰

Yes, you could find niggles. But, to be honest, in this book which clearly sets the scene for book 2, I didn’t really care. This was hot-hot-hot fun, as the Krie are totally sex-orientated and the more depraved, the better!
A very tasty starter for this series.

I'm no stranger to alien-human pairings and ive seen this series recced alot. Plus Kora Knight writes SMUT so well so iy was only a matter if time. Let me tell you... this was not a disappointment...AT ALL.

Just keep in mind that this is a novella that just introduces the world and the characters, plus hints at the first couple in book 1, Zercy.

Just keep in mind that this is a novella that just introduces the world and the characters, plus hints at the first couple in book 1, Zercy.
No romance here.
Also the narrator did an AWESOME job! Tones, accents, emotions. I loved it.

Por que todo alien têm que ser roxo?! Não existe cinza, vermelho, azul kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk já li umas 4 histórias com aliens roxo 😅 Agora falando desse livro... Bem, não teve nada muito incrível. Foi tensão sexual do início ao fim, nada de uma paixão muito envolvente ( só mesmo algo forte entre Gesha e Noah) suspeito que o que tava esperando vai acontecer no livro 2 e espero que seja melhor que o primeiro.

So yes there was dubious consent and yes it was basically just group sex with alpha humans and even more alpha aliens. I should be ashamed of myself for reading it AND liking it. But I did. It was hot AF.

Holy hell! I did not expect to like this book as much as I did given it's less than auspicious/slightly dub-con nature. But the world-building was top-notch and the characters engaging...not to mention it had some hot AF sexing. *fans self* I'm really hoping for that massive cliffhanger to be resolved ASAP with a sequel.

Have you ever wished for an Avatar porno? Did you find those big, blue aliens hot? If so, this book is for you! Seriously, read this book. Are the aliens the same? Not exactly, but it doesn't take a great stretch in imagination to get there from here. All I'm saying is that there was definitely some inspiration drawn from something VERY familiar 😂
Although it's been a while since I've seen the Avatar movies, I don't think the premise is the same. I'm pretty sure there was no crash landing on an alien planet resulting in eating sex fruit that causes you to get so horny you must bang the local inhabitants with 12 inch dongs, but then again, I have a bad memory 😆 Anyway, that's what happened here, so dig in if that sounds tasty to you!
This was a quick read and there's definitely more porn than plot as it mainly serves to draw you in and set up the second book. This one does end in a cliffhanger though, so don't be surprised when you find yourself scrambling for book two.
