If you like clean cozy mysteries with a bit of witchcraft, some humor, a dash of romance, sassy pet familiars, and friends who are more like family, you'll enjoy this story.
Not what I thought as the book is titled Peppermints and Pandemonium and the jacket says a toy store owner drowns at the Christmas party. Instead I read A Crime Of Cranberry and it says in title page “A Crime of Cranberry Copy”. A Crime of Cranberry was fairly good with the story centering on Charlotte- a cafe owner who is also a witch and her familiars who are rabbits and a cat. A cooking contest judge is Murdered and Charlotte gets entangled in trying to figure out the killer. Interesting storyline and hard to follow at times.
