Snowed Inn #4

Snowed Inn for Christmas

Rate this book
She loves Christmas. It’s the holiday he dreads the most. When an icy road brings them together, will opposites attract under the mistletoe?

Danielle Miller is a hard-working nursing student who loves all things Christmas. She can’t wait to get home, spend some fun-filled days with family, and bake a whole lot of Christmas treats.

Jared Case is an edgy rock star whose life just got a lot more complicated. His sister has run off and left him in charge of his twelve-year-old niece, Stella. He can’t wait to get home, settle Stella in, and figure out what to do next.

When a freak snowstorm strands them at the Snowed Inn, Danielle is determined to make Christmas extra special for everyone at the inn, especially the sad young girl whose situation tugs at her heart. Jared is determined to ignore his least favorite holiday and the annoyingly cheery young woman whose smile he just can’t seem to resist.

Will a near tragedy bring them together despite their differences? And will the magic of Christmas lead them to love?

Snowed Inn for Christmas is the lighthearted fourth book in the Snowed Inn clean romance series. If you like feisty heroines, an eclectic cast of characters, and Christmas cookies, then you’ll eat up Eliza Harwell’s romantic holiday tale.

Unfortunately I cannot give this book zero stars. I was ready to stop reading at 15 pages. I made it to 25 pages and said forget it. I skipped to the last two chapters. I only made it about 2 pages in and skipped to the last chapter. Terrible book. It was more suited to a Hallmark movie, which are all very similar.

What were the ages of these people? I never found out as I did not read much of the book. Sounded to me like an early 20's and a mid 30's. Of course I could be way off. Jared started out as an entitled jerk and Danielle a goody two shoes.

The book was not for me. Nor do I plan to read any more in the series.

I enjoyed Snowed Inn for Christmas. There was just enough tension between the characters - Danielle and Jared - to keep me interested. After reading this "Snowed Inn" book 4, I feel like I know the innkeepers, Iris and Vern, like old friends. I would love to find a big old inn with a couple like that running it. It is a sweet read, especially if you are a fan of Christmas like I am.

Danielle is in nursing school and working to pay for it. Now she is stranded at Snowed Inn. Jared has just gotten his niece since his sister is now in rehab and he is a guitar player for a band that Danielle loves. How will they get together since they are very different and he is very grumpy. Cute read.

A great Christmas story full of the magic of Christmas. Truly the hate to love story I just love to read with a couple of twists in between. Great characters scenes were well described I just loved it.

A cute, short read

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I would have liked the story line between Jared and Danielle go on a little further. It kind of felt unfinished.

Good story but sort of a repeat of other stories that I have read and therefore the ending was no surprise. Wish Eliza had really delved into the characters more and carried on the story to a better more precise ending.

Good story

A good story that includes some sad, damaged people @ Christmas time. Iris & Helena work their magic to bring happiness & joy to the celebration. Everyone worked together to help Stella have the 1st great Christmas 🎄.

Surprisingly good

When it started with a moody rock star, I wasn't sure that I would like the book. The magic of Christmas is very evident in this story.

Such a fun read with a couple of my favorite tropes - grumpy/sunshine and forced proximity. Very sweet, light read. Just a feel good story!
