VERY NEW AGEY!🙄

This book is very new age material. I wanted to like the book but as soon as I read something I liked she would say something new age related and it made me cringe. She does make good points like being open and accepting of help, sleeping in lingerie for yourself, and speaking positively to yourself but the different personalities talk and stuff like that is too demonic and new age for me. She does mention why she code switched her religion. Its sad she had no one to explain the faith without works concept which is what her lady on the roof story is based on. Any way read at your own risk.

I loved this book! Although it’s written for women, you can substitute male/man into many of the topics and examples Ms. April is working to implement. It’s a fresh new look on some of the things you can do in order to build yourself for your identity switch into the person you want to become.

Everyone talks about finding the person of their dreams but yet they haven’t done the proper work on themselves first before trying to welcome and be with someone else. This book focuses on the things an individual should be working on in order to grow and develop into someone the aim to be.

We often talk about someone helping to complete us when in theory we need to bring our best selves to the equation and continue to grow and flourish from there. This book visits topics and examples that can bring clarity to a persons life and questions to be pondered and answered as well.

I learned some amazing things from the 'All The Things Feminine' social club app, founded by April Mason. Her teachings about femininity are truly inspiring. She is honest and encourages us, as women, to go beyond just thinking about wearing pink ribbons or makeup. Instead, she guides us to embrace our feminine energy in all areas of life.

This book is an excellent supplement for women who want to elevate themselves. I have implemented the guidance from 'All The Things Feminine,' and I feel that this book delves deeper and summarizes April Mason's wisdom beautifully. We can be everything—intelligent, ambitious, and capable of pursuing our dreams—without having to change our identity to shine.

Transformation isn’t just about superficial things visible to the eye but about inner growth and daily habits. It's meaningless to be attractive and have a great fashion sense if we’re overthinkers, unwilling to forgive the past, or too lazy to change bad habits. Without inner spark and discipline, our outer glow won’t last.

Mason also shares her own difficult experiences, emphasizing that personal growth requires effort. Becoming a great woman isn’t easy—it requires commitment and hard work.

My bf bought me a signed copy of this book at one of her events and I was so excited to dig into it! Just like most self help and self development books…from the book, you pick out the information that you can apply to your own life and leave the rest. You make it work for you. I found a lot of inspiration in this book and it left me feeling motivated regarding my business goals and my financial plans. I was reminded of a lot of ideas and viewpoints. Most times we know what we need to do but we just need to be reminded or we need to see the information provided in a different way. This did that and for that I give it 4 stars. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to my friends. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because of the typos sprinkled throughout and I felt like it lacked just a wee bit more depth.

This was a great listen. I randomly saw it on saw on audible so decided to add it to my cart since it was so short. I think this book was JAM PACKED with great information. It took me sometime to truly appreciate building yourself up as an individual and not attempting to do so for a man/SO.

I like how she repeatedly said that the instructions and guidance in the book isn't a step by step by to catch a man, but really to guide to learning to give back to yourself as much as you give to others. I am going to suggest this book to other people in the future and might even revisit it myself at a later time. The book offers reflective questions and activities that can be put into practical practice.

We take a brief reprieve this week from our slew of Patron requests to dive back into the deep, dark waters of Amazon Short Reads. Chris pulled Identity Switch: Becoming the Woman Who Gets What She Wants by April & Adrianna Mason from the depths because it appeared to be pulsing with Ho Tactics vibes. Beneath these initial vibes, though, Paris & Chris discover that this is actually a self-help book they can almost get behind.

such a good read

I finished this book in the same day! It was a valuable book, I was able to assess where I am with my identity switch and which areas I still have work to do. I have plans of going back through the book on my journey and asking myself the questions and watch how my answers change as I make the switch.

Great read to give you validation on your self love journey.

I love the part about self-maintenance is not the same as self care. I appreciate her outlook on bettering yourself for you - not another person. Definitely going to check out her other book. She has some great wisdom and advice you’d want from a wise friend.

Amazing Work

I am on my healing journey and as a part of that journey my mother raised me to be a high value woman who is assertive with men and loving myself. Who understands the feminine attributes. Somewhere along in life I have forgotten those attributes . Here I am attempting to reinvent myself to becoming that woman again. Thanks April this is an amazing guide.

I wouldn’t suggest reading this book. It was very much on the surface level and a 3rd graders read. Nothing was thought provoking. It wasn’t well thought out I wouldn’t waste my money if I was you.
