The Black Clovers MC is NOT a club to cross. They WILL exact retribution and Sledge is their Prez. This is the circumstances that brought Ava into his orbit. The man she thought loved her used her in exchange to pay off a high dollar drug debt. She's a doctor who is coerced into being their MD after her boyfriend, Nick, dumped her with no warning. She fights her attraction to Sledge but he's not having it.
This story is gritty and a little raw so if your looking for a peaches and cream MC read this isn't it. However, in MC fashion, the characters in this book are loyal to each other and emphatically protect what is theirs. There is a situation that shows the softer side of Sledge and the darker side of Ava but doesn't everyone have a side that can brought out? I'm intrigued to learn more about the characters in this series and what life has in store for them.

Discovering new authors is my thing and makes me want to read everything they write.
This was offered as a free read through bookfunnel.com and it was just perfect..the right amount of angst, deception, lies and love to make me settle down and read in one sitting.
Sledge may be the Prez but Ava is the Queen..and this intro in to the series is my new obsession. And uuum Ava got chops that only you can nod to as a I give you prop nod.
