Or at least they were. Now my lies are catching up to me, and the stakes are higher than ever.
The men who unexpectedly claimed me are breaking down every wall I have, exposing vulnerabilities and opening old wounds. But now is not the time for weakness. Not when someone is out to get us and enemies are around every corner. It’s time for me to embrace the inner strength that’s guarded my soul for the last decade and prove to the Sinner’s Mark men that I’m more than capable of taking care of myself…and them too.
The average woman would be afraid. But I’m not your average woman. I’m the monster under the bed. The shadow lurking in the corner. I’m the one thing the darkness fears, and there will be no mercy for those that hurt the ones I love.
Rogue is book two in the Sinners Mark MC series, a medium-burn reverse harem romance featuring darker elements. CONTENT WARNING: This book contains references to sexual assault-related trauma along with violence/torture and graphic sex scenes that some readers may find triggering. Even though this is a work of fiction, please read with caution. Prepare for a cliffhanger ending with no HEA until the final book.
Wow! There's no secret how much I love, love, love RH books! This book was amazingly wonderful! I love how Sinclair Kelly is able to incorporate all members of the harem, yet still focus on Rogue, giving him an almost redemptive arc. That Remy can be so insightful, smart and selfless is so lovely. And yes, I cried at times too, but isn't it wonderful when books give you all the feels!
I'm so fortunate to have received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Just as good as book one - this time with more emotion and spice! I’m devouring each book as fast as possible.
Rouge and Squire have made a strong showing in the book boyfriend department. All-in MMCs who support their woman’s serial killing tendencies are my new favorites!
The cliffhanger on this one, though… glad I’m able to jump right into book three!
Give me more!!! More Remy. More of the guys. More problems. More solutions. More revenge. More heartbreak. More happy times. More spice. I just need more!!!
I continue to love Remy with each page. I am so happy she is learning to trust again and allowing the guys to care for her. While she is still a strong, independent, stabby woman, she’s also the young girl at heart that endured too much and is still healing. I am so happy these men are healing her inner child, pushing her boundaries safely, and allowing her to be free.
Speaking of the men. I love that we continue to learn more about each one; both about their pasts and their personalities. I am also happy to see we are starting to even out how much each is involved in the story and with Remy. I cannot wait until they are all happier together in one big family. Ace is the authoritative one, Rogue is the quiet but insightful man, Saint knows when to take control, Trip is a jokester and kind, and Squire is the best friend. Each of them brings something to the table that heals a bit of her soul.
The storyline evolved a little more in this book, and now I’m dying to know what Remy has up her sleeve. We know our girl can handle herself, let’s just hope she doesn’t get into any situations she can’t get out of.
Also, my heart broke a lil in this book because of a certain someone. Which I did not expect.
🌶️🌶️🌶️ Pepper percentage: 10.5% pf the pages contain spicy content 16.7% of the chapters contain spicy content
Remy is back with her killer instincts. This picks right up after the Razor incident.
This one is not all sunshine and rainbows. Granted we get steamy times and we start to see parts of the puzzle come together…but then someone’s time gets cut short and it’s like getting sucker punched to the gut.
The ending will leave you with a wtf hook. I am addicted to this series and can’t wait for more.
Rogue is the second book in this unique MC series and I loved jumping right back into this Sinners Mark MC world.
I love how fast paced a reverse harem book typically is. There are lots of character POV's which always amp up the emotional aspect of the story and I'd say most of the books have a darker or at least suspenseful edge to the plot which always keeps the pages turning. It's certainly one of the reasons why I love this trope. Throw in the steamy good times and I'm a total sucker for a woman who gets loved up by lots of hot men. Seriously...who wouldn't?
The Sinners Mark MC series has certainly checked off all of these markers and never once have I found the plot stagenent nor did I find any of the characters lacking. This particular MC series is completely unique with a serial killer living in their midst, a believable twin swap, an MC merge hanging in the balance and a love story unlike any other. It's riveting and totally steamy to boot!!
Remi falls even further for her Sinner guys in this second book, while the mounting tension grows as more secrets make it harder to expose her true feelings. While everyone is working to uncover the truth about what's happening at her father's MC and why someone is after her and her twin sister, Etta, Remi feels torn and struggles with wanting to tell Ace, Trip and Saint the entire truth about her past, but Rogue and Squire agree it's not the right time to open that truth bomb quite yet.
Rogue does ends on a cliffhanger, so the story will continue in the next book. If you enjoy reading an entire series back to back you might want to wait, but otherwise...enjoy this steamy and suspenseful book!!
I thought Saint would be my favorite, but now after reading this book, I cant decide anymore!
This book takes off right where Book one ended. Remy's secret isn't as such a secret as she thought and Rogue is prepared to join her. The Avenging Angel is here to stay and I am so here for it. They still are unsure who is against the Sinners MC and who is after the twins, but one thing for sure is - The guys will not let anyone get their girl.
Rogue, Ace, Trip, Saint and Squire are all prepared to die for Remy. Marriage or not, she has been claimed. The push and pull in this book was wonderful. All of the guys clearly want to get to know Remy more and more and are developing strong feelings. When a sudden death hits them, Remy locks herself physically and emotionally away. Does she have what it takes to get through it as Remington or will she lose herself to the Avenging Angel? Can she continue to keep these secrets as her own feelings grow more and more? Remys relationship with Rogue grows stronger and stronger in this book and when they finally come together - it is in a very unexpected and very steamy way.
Then the ending, she is prepared to sacrifice herself for the ones she loves. Will the guys know what really happened or will they all blow everything out of proportion?? (ahemmm, ACE)
I love this series so much. Each book has been fantastic. I am so looking forward to the next book and I cant wait for all of their reactions to finding out about Remy's extracurricular activities. Also, the little tidbit of info that was dropped about Etta. Ohhhhh, I see a new series coming on!!!!! ;-)
*Overall 5/5 *Heat? 5/5 *Fast Burn *Multiple first person POV *Ends on mild cliffhanger
“We each bring something different to the table. Come to her with our own strengths that fill the cracks of her fractured soul. She deserves this. Deserves all of us.”
Rogue is book two of the Sinner’s Mark MC series and cannot be read as a standalone. It does end on a cliffhanger but it’s honestly not a bad one. Rogue starts where Saint left off after the incident with Razor. We get to learn more about Remy’s guys and I have to say that Rogue is my favorite! I don’t know if it’s because he is big, intimidating, and the quiet type or if it’s because he is a marshmallow and perfect for Remy. We also get to see Remy being completely open with a couple of the guys and let them in to who she really is.
This book has action, heartbreak, humor, suspense, mystery, secrets, revenge, betrayal, and of course spice! I read this book in one sitting and couldn’t put it down! It kept me on my toes and I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. I can’t wait for book three and I really hope we get Etta’s story eventually!
This book was SO FREAKING GOOD! Sinclair Kelly has ramped up this story tenfold and I am so here for it! Remy and her mens story just gets more intense, action-packed, and lust and love fueled. Seeing them all in action has been quite the sight. Remy is literally an Avenging Angel. She is strong, loyal, caring and so much more. And seeing her be the kick butt woman she is, is amazing. I loved getting to see more of Rogue in this book. Seeing the big silent sentry and how he fell even deeper for Remy and her in return. Seeing the complete and utter trust between them, beautiful. The love runs deep with this group and it’s a quite a sight to see. Despite the circumstances that brought them together initially, they are all wholeheartedly in this together for each other.
I LOVED this book!! I need the next book ASAP! I desperately need to know what happens next 😱
Remy is a queen through and through I love her she is so strong after all she's been through and I love who her relationship is developing with her guys especially Ace. This book definitely had some hard moments but also some amazing ones like the brilliant ending when Rouge let's slip he knew her secrete all along.
Holy crap! I didn't think I could love Remy anymore then I already did! But I was totally blindsided! Just like Saint I could not put this down! Another 5 star read from Sinclair kelly! Definitely recommend this one, you will fall madly in love with Ace ,Rogue, Saint,Squire, and Trip!!
This second book in the series follows Remy as she recovers from yet another attempted assault and what is the beat way to cope with your demons- do what you do best as the Avenging Angel. Rogue, what is not to love about him, he is such a cutie. The guys are all in and regardless of Remy's self-doubt and trust issues, so I cannot wait for her to finally surrender. In the meantime things are getting even more complicated as it is evident that someone is on the hunt for the twins and it appears that all key players are still a mystery.
Well there was no doubt I was going to love this book since I loved the first one so much. We get a deeper dive into Rogue's past, see relationships blossom and Remy fight her demons. More unexpected twists and turns and I love the guys even more! I can't wait for the next book!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
Secrets are kind of my thing> Or at least they were. Now my lies are catching up to me, and the stakes are higher than ever. Not when someone is out to get us and enemies are around ever corner. Rouge is the second book in the Sinner's Mark MC Series. This is a dark reverse harem book that you will not be able to put down. But before you can dive into this book you need to read Saint which is the first book in the series or you will not know what is really going on in Rogue. This book picks up right where Saint leaves off too. You also need to heed the warning in the beginning of the book as it will contain trigger for some readers and you will want to proceed with caution. I fell in love with Remy, Saint, Rogue, Ace, Trip and Squire in the first book and I was lucky because I got to read those two books back to back with no waiting on the next one. At the end of Saint there is a shocking event and my heart just about broke in half. I felt so sorry for Remy but that girl was on a mission to avenge and to destroy, that is for sure. However, this even has really affected her in ways that she didn't think were possible and now things are getting more dangerous than they already were and all the guys are now aware that Remy has taken Etta's place Things with the Reaper are about to get worse than they already were the Sinner's Mark are determined to carry out the plans that Razor had in place. I have to admit that he was a smart man and saw things coming before they even happened. My heart hurt for Remy and when that girl goes dark she goes really dark. But her guys are there to protect her and it was really good to see her letting them all in in their own special ways and her realizing that maybe just maybe she isn't as broken as she thought she was. However her safety is still in jeopardy as Viper is still just as obsessed with having Remy as he has always been and not that Razor isn't in charge anymore I felt like he was going to go off the rails. I can't say to much more or I will give something away and I don't want to do that. I do believe that this is my first time reading a series by Sinclair Kelly and I was living for it. I need the next book in my hands right now so I can stop holding my breath every time I think about how this book ended. This is a really great series so far and I am loving every minute of it.
3.75 stars--ROGUE is the second instalment in Sinclair Kelly’s contemporary, adult SINNER’S MARK MC dark, erotic, reverse harem MC romance series focusing on the Sinner’s Mark MC. This is the continuing story of twenty-five year old, Remington ‘Remy’ Steele, and the men whom she loves: Saint, Squire, Ace, Trip and Rogue.
WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise including graphic violence and multiple partners, there may be triggers for more senstiive readers.
NOTE: If you have not read book one SAINT, there may be spoilers in my review.
SOME BACKGROUND: In an effort to solidify the relationship and merger between the Sinner’s Mark MC and the Havoc Reapers MC, Remy’s father Rock, the president of Havoc Reapers MC offered Remy’s twin sister Etta’s hand in marriage, but a switcheroo found Remy ‘married’ to Ace, the president of Sinner’s Mark MC, a marriage that would result in our heroine falling in love with not only her ‘husband’ but four other men, as well.
Told from several first person perspectives (Remy,Trip, Rogue, Ace, Squire , Saint) ROGUE continues to focus on the building relationship between twenty-five year old, Remington ‘Remy’ Steele and several members of the Sinner’s Mark MC as well as the search for potential mole in the Sinner’s Mark MC, a mole who is feeding information to someone in the Havoc Reapers MC. From the outset Remy and her sister Etta have been targeted by an unknown source but our heroine will find herself under the protection of the men with whom she is growing to love. Etta has been missing, setting in to motion a plan of her own, while Remy continues to serve justice for sins of the past. Along with her best friend Squire, a member of the Havoc Reapers MC, Remy will hunt down the man responsible for destroying someone she loves, and the ensuing vengeance reaps satisfaction for everyone concerned but not every one will survive pushing Remy to sacrifice herself for the people she loves. What ensues is the building relationships between Remy and the men that she loves, and the potential fall-out as our heroine is determined to take down the people responsible for destroying her soul, and breaking her heart.
The relationship between Remy, and all five men mostly focuses on the one on one relationship with Remy and each individual man. Squire aka Grant is Remy’s childhood best friend but is also a member of the Havoc Reapers MC: Saint and Ace know that to love Remy means to share her love with everyone else; Trip is slow to join the relationship, holding back as he stands in the shadows waiting his turn; and Rogue is a man whose past is mired in darkness, and demons that have yet to be destroyed.
Once again, like SAINT, ROGUE focuses more on Remington Steele, and her need for vengeance in the face of betrayal, and a desire to be loved by the men who have promised to protect her with their lives. The premise is gritty and raw; the romance is captivating and energetic; the characters are determined and strong. ROGUE ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.
I was so excited to get back to Remy's story now that Rogue was in the know and wanted to be involved in her Avenging Angel stabby times. The dynamic duo is now the terrific trio! I think having Rogue know about her secret, even if it didn't seem that way to her, sort of eased her into getting used to more people knowing and accepting her well kept hobby. I know it at least gave me some hope that the other guys were aware of her secret that they would be somewhat understanding of her reasons and be more supportive of the fact that she only targeted bad people. But we shall see what happens…
Relationship development in this book was pretty great, and not just with Rogue even though the book was named after him. We got plenty of scenes with Rogue, Squire, and even the rest of the guys. Some were more involved, while others focused a bit more on the connection that was forming. This may have been an unplanned switcheroo, but I think the way this group meshes together is practically perfect. Actual feelings are coming into play making things both complicated and easier at the same time. I have a feeling there will be some issues ahead, but I'm hoping Remy and her guys will stay solid once everything gets out in the open.
There were a lot of shocking and unexpected events in this book as some pieces of the Remy and Etta puzzle started fitting themselves together while quite a bit still remained a mystery. There definitely was something fishy going on and with the mole undiscovered and targets on both Remy and Etta's backs, things began to get complicated, messy, and even a little but heartbreaking. I can't wait to discover even more secrets in this next book. Viper is absolutely insane, but I think like a lot of the guys in this book, he most likely underestimates Remy. At this point, people should start to recognize that she isn't a weak damsel of a woman that needs to rely on others to keep her own self safe. Lessons learned from her past, she grew into a strong, vengeance-filled, vigilante and that is going to be her saving grace with what is coming next. Currently on her own, she'll have to be her own savior once again. Viper better watch out.
Wow, Sinclair Kelly did it again. Given how much I loved Saint, I wasn’t sure how well Rogue would hold up. Oh man, did she ever deliver.
If, at its core, Saint, the book, was about understanding how obsessed the character Saint was with Remy. The book Rogue, is about how much Rogue, the man, understands and accepts her.
At the end of book one, Rogue gives Remy a knife that tells her he knows about her side job as the Avenging Angel. Book two is about Rogue fitting into her life, her affections and learning how to work with her and Squire. I loved how much Rogue understands her. Not just in what he says, but in his actions. He is there to support her, and stand beside her rather than in front of her and she does the same for him. In return, Remy gives Rogue what he desires most.
I loved reading about these two and Squire. The development of their relationship and the way Rogue includes Squire was lovely. It gave me all the feels. That’s not to say Ace, Trip and Saint aren’t great but they still think Remy is delicate and needs protection. I can’t wait to see what happens when they find out and where their relationships go.
In addition to the wonderful relationship development, there is all the things that make this series great. A deepening mystery, the relationship between Sinner’s Mark and the other club, Viper, moles, blackmail and so much more. I don’t want to say much about them because it’s best to go in blind, but I can’t wait to find out what happens next. Especially this time. I kept trying to turn the page hoping there was more to read. I REALLY hope I don’t have to wait until next year to find out.
If you like MC stories, morally grey men with eyes only for their love, strong fmc, and RH, take a chance on this series. But I recommend starting at book one.
❣️Saint: The guy who has been secretly obsessed with Remy for years. ❣️Rogue: The stoic, silent, and deadly teddy bear. ❣️Ace: The boss. I'm not sure how I feel about him right now considering he threw her under the bus only hours after she told him she loved him. ❣️Trip: The playful, flirty, and charming one. ❣️Squire: The lifelong best friend who has been in love with her forever.
Love the story; however, these people have barely spent time together, and they're already breaking out the 'I love you's,' it doesn't feel realistic. Insta-lust would absolutely fit. The guys who've known her forever, also okay. As for the guys who don't know her and have only spent a couple of days with her... it seems a little fast. Especially considering how Ace was just acting.
Biscuit can jack-in-the-box, for the win!!! If you haven’t read Saint yet, stop right here and go do that!
We see more of Ella in this story, and all the other guys show up at very nicely timed intervals so you never really forget about any of them over all (as can happen sometimes with reverse harems). But Rogue is the focus in this installment and watching his relationship with Remi flourish is a thing of beauty!
That being said, there are moments of levity like this conversation between Remy and Squire : “I’m not scared of much aside from biscuit cans and hamsters. Don’t get me started on biscuit cans being the equivalent of an adult jack-in-the-box. Ugh…and have you seen those beady little eyes hamsters have? I swear they can consume your soul if you’re not careful.”- Remi “Then what makes you so afraid that you—the fearless woman who regularly stares down death—are rambling like an attorney that’s facing damning new evidence from the opposing counsel?” My brow furrows. “That is oddly specific.” “I’ve been watching Court TV in my downtime. It helps me sleep.”- Squire
And moments where you’ll cry, but the most prophetic is: “I’m in love with a serial killer. What the fuck am I supposed to do with that?”
Overall a great read with enough steam to keep you toasty and a great story that keeps ya invested!
Solid follow up to the first book, although not as good imo. I loved the focus on just one of the guys from the group. I think the same focus was meant for the first book although it missed some of that a little with it having been the first in the series and everything having to be introduced. This book had much better focus while still incorporating all the other characters. Unfortunately to me this book felt a bit more rushed with less development toward the rest of the story. Big things happened but it felt like all the reaction and processing got skimmed over quite a bit. Also, I know it’s necessary in some books to intentionally cause strife and conflict to make it interesting but ugh it always makes me mad to see a strong independent character make decisions to ‘protect’ those around them without talking to the people they affect. I’m hopeful for the next book will resolve it quickly. I LOVED that Saint already knew the secret, of course he would, he’s obsessed with her. I’m excited to see where everything goes.
First of all I love this book! But what the heck was that ending Sin!!! I literally screamed “NO!” at the end! After that cliffhanger I need book three asap! Ok enough of that on to the rest. 😊
Remy and her sexy men are back and this book is hotter than the first! We start off as Remy is getting out of the hospital after the attack from Razor. I was so happy to see that Squire is being add to the harem! Her relationships grow with all the guys in this book and I’m so here for it. I’ve never had a hard time choosing my favorite guy but I just can’t with these guys I love them all.
Don’t get me started on Remy! I love her and she is as fierce as the come! She took her tragedy and became a strong woman who didn’t want to see others suffer at the hands of their attackers. She is selfless and I can’t wait to see more of her story.
This book is just as good as the first book if not better. It is full of steam and the plot is so good! I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Rogue is the second book in the series, and it wastes no time jumping right back into the action.
Remy thought she had kept her secret under wraps, but she soon finds out it isn’t such a secret. After the incident with Razor she, and everyone else is now on a mission to really find out what’s really going on. I love the relationship that is developing between her and the guys. Especially when it comes to her best friend. This does heavily focus on Rogue though and I am not mad at all. Rogue is quiet but also big and intimidating and gives off the touch her and kill you vibes while being a huge teddy bear to her. I love how you see Remy come out of her shell and really start to take back her life along with her sexual side. This just ramped things up and made me even more excited for this series. And yes, this one ends in a cliffy as well but not nearly as bad as the last. LOL!
Rogue is book #2 in the Sinners Mark MC series. Its a dark reverse harem. Make sure to check the trigger warning.
We pick up where we left off in Saint and Holy Crap!! Sinclair Kelly takes us on a hell of a ride!! Remy, Ace, Saint, Trip, Rogue and Squire go thru so much in this book!!! Remys relationships with the guys keep growing and getting stronger, they are still trying to find out who the threat is, and they have some heartbreaking moments.
And that ending!?!?!? I can't freaking wait for the next book!!!!!
I love this series so much and I can tell the rest of the series is gonna be EPIC!!! I love Remy, her guys are AMAZING and love her so much, I cant wait to see what happens in the next book now that they know what they know!!!
Thank You Sinclair Kelly for this AMAZING series!!!!
Why do authors love cliffhangers? Why can’t it be like a semi-conclusion knowing there will be more books to finish all the plot details? This book started right up from the last book and we got to see Remy grow more with the help of all her guys of which Rogue is to die for. Why yes, I need a silent ninja in my life built like he is. Who wouldn’t want that especially given how much he loves and cares for Remy. Loved seeing more of the plot, but then I realized there are three more books in this series and am now banging my head against the wall knowing there will be two more cliffhangers just as bad if not worse than this one. Like why? I need conclusions not more questions. Ughhh, here I go to wait for the next book in the series. Normally I’m a patient person but not in this case. If you need to find me, I’ll be impatiently waiting for the next book.
This is the second book in this phenomenal series, and Remy is a force to be reckoned with, and her men are breaking down her walls exposing her vulnerability and opening old wounds. When the club is being targeted by their enemy, Remy is determined to prove that she is capable of looking after herself, as well as look after her men. This is a well written reverse harem romance, which is dark, raw, gritty, and intriguing, with angst, drama, secrets, lies, emotions, danger, suspense, action, trauma, loyalty, violence, and love, which leads to an addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend. Be aware of the trigger warning die to some sensitive content! I received a free copy of this book via The Hatters Author Services and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Remy is definitely a survivor. There’s more secrets, conspiracy, assassination attempts, revelations, warm fuzzies, and just a wee bit of bloodthirstiness going on in this story. And I loved it. The guys now know who Remy is, but only Rogue and Squire know about her homicidal tendencies. Remy finds herself going a little soft for her men, but she’s still hard towards their enemies and trying to find out who is working against them. I’m really loving how this series is riding a nice balance of vicious and grim, and sweet and humorous. I can’t wait to see where the story goes, with both the scheming against the club and why someone wants the girls dead, as well as how the guys are going to take Remy’s secret identity. And Etta! What all has she been discovering in the background? I’m all in with this series.
Have you ever read a book in one sitting, then quietly look up and go what the actual fu….. yeah that’s this book. So it picks up where Saint left off with Remy having outed herself and in the hospital. Luckily the guys love her for her and not the name Etta. It might throw some things off in the contract between clubs, but they’re determined to keep her….and so is her past. This book has sexy times, it has stressful times, and it sure has suspense. My heart was ripped open for Remy and Etta, their pasts and what the future entails….and fyi huge cliffhanger. I mean huge… I need Ace like yesterday after finishing this. So far this has bumped up to one of my top MC reverse harems. Don’t think, just 1-click.
If you like MC RH books, then you’ll love the next installment of Remy and her men. This book has it all- suspense, stress, spice, and throw in some humor. Its dark…….Remy’s character is strong without being overbearing. She has struggles as she’s keeping secrets, yet growing closer to her guys. We see her relationship with Rogue grow stronger in this book… I can’t decide who my favorite is now…. Where will her loyalties ultimately end up. I like the multiple points of view, so we can get into the minds of the guys. This book is face paced and easy to get lost in. And then it ends…. Leaves you hanging…. Gah. We’ve got questions that will only be answered… in the next book and beyond.
