This was a neat story; as although it was telling a story of a little girl kitten making her Valentine's Day list and then proceed to home make her Valentines for her friends. It also is sort of like a 'self teach' book for children on how to make their own homemade Valentines. With the help of an adult they could follow what the kitten is doing and make some pretty neat Valentines. The illustrations in this book is really neat as well...almost 3-d at times my 3 year old granddaughter thought some of the things were the 'lift and see' flap but they weren't it was just the way the item appeared on the page.
